Let’s just call this the weekend of the Harvest Festival! The only question is, which one will you choose?! Happy Weekend!

4. Cartoon Weekend at the Columbus Zoo

Characters will be available for meet and greet including Dora, Diego, Fred Flintstone, Tom and Jerry, Arthur and D.W., and more! There will also be a Pokemon Go Conservation Challenge! This is the first time for this event at the zoo!

5. Fall Festival at Cheryl’s Cookies

This festival includes a pumpkin fun zone, hot dog stand, balloon animals, face painting, and a visit from the Columbus Zoo from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM! There will be a free gift for the first 50 customers!

6. Harvest Fair at Stratford Ecological Center

7. Harvest Festival at Four Seasons City Farm

This Harvest Festival will be held at the Garden of New Freedom and will offer hay rides, face painting, cooking demonstrations and more! On Friday, you can attend an ice cream social at Lucky’s Market to benefit Four Seasons City Farm!

8. Harvest Fair at Columbus Commons

Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Celebrate fall at Columbus Commons with a pumpkin patch, crafts, a petting zoo, demonstrations and a $5 wristband (cash only) can be purchased for access to activities like laser tag, putt-putt, carousel rides, hay rides and more!

9. Chalk the Block at Easton Town Center

Time: 12:00 PM Saturday – 6:00 PM Sunday

Saturday is drawing day at Easton Town Center! Over 30 artists will be working on chalk drawings on the town square and there will be live music! Sunday you can visit to see the completed chalk drawings and find out who was given awards!

10. Fall Festival in Downtown Lancaster

When: Saturday, September 24, 2016
Time: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: Downtown Lancaster (N. Broad and N. Columbus Streets)

This fall festival is free and offers arts and crafts vendors, live music, activities for kids like face painting, hay rides, and crafts and activities from local organizations. Food is available and the Peanuts Movie will be shown at 7:30 PM.

11. New Albany Classic at the Wexner Residence

The Ohio History Connection is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act with a 10 day period of unique tours, talks and special events at over 130 buildings across the state! 2. Goodnight Moon at Park Street Theatre

This weekend is the Independents’ Day Festival in Franklinton! This is the second year of the “festival within a festival” for children. This year’s theme is Moon Ranch and the area will feature a farm house, barn, moon creatures and other moon-themed activities! Also, this festival is free!

11. Out of this World Ice Skating Party at Chiller Ice Rinks

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will partner with the OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks for an Out of This World Ice Skating party to celebrate the circus, Out of This World. If your child is one of the first 75 to arrive at any location, they will receive a free ticket to the circus, which takes place October 14-16, 2016.

12. Family Reading Festival at the Shops at Worthington Place

This special day aims to allow children to learn about the vehicles, equipment, and technology used by law enforcement officers as well as meet officers in person! Cops and Kids Day is part of Community Day, which also includes The Great Westerville Food Truck Fest and the 9/11 Memorial Observation.
