9. First Friday Film Series at Ohio History Center

Ohio History Center stays open late on the First Friday of the month for special activities and a movie! This weekend’s movie is Hocus Pocus, which will start at 7:30 PM. At 7:00 PM there will be a magic show by Erica Carlson and her hedgehog, Sedgwick! Museum admission is reduced to $6 after 5:00 PM. Ages 6-12 will be $3 and Members and kids ages 5 and under are free. Make sure to “like” my Facebook Page because I’ll be doing a giveaway for this event on Thursday!

23. Buddy Bag Packing with Family Mentor Foundation at Polaris Fashion Place

Volunteers will be packing bags of food to be given to families on weekends throughout the first half of the school year. Children are welcome to help out! This Little Kids Skate is recommended for ages 2-8 and Fisher Price Skates are available. Adults are allowed to assist in tennis shoes. Daniel Tiger will be on site for a meet and greet!
