FRIDAY

9:00 AM – Fall Fun Friday at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – wear a costume and get half off admission! Bring a friend and get a free cookie!

9:00 AM – The Haunted Maze

 at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this scary maze is free during regular business hours at Hoover Gardens through October 31st. Parents use your best judgement and consider escorting younger children through the maze!

10:00 AM – Dracula at Columbus Children’s Theatre – this is a 2 act play with intermission featuring the scary and funny story of Dracula! This show is performed at park Street Theatre.

10:30 AM – Read it, Make it, Eat it – Room on the Broom at PARTY Like It’s Your Birthday – this event includes a story time and two crafts based on the theme as well as a snack! Recommended for ages 2-5. $15/child.

11:00 AM – Halloween Weekend: Kid Costume at Ten Pin Alley – kids 15 and under who come in costume will receive one free laser tag mission!

11:00 AM – Illumination Film Festival at Marcus Theatres – The Illumination Family Film Festival features four animated films from the recent past for just $5 per ticket, Friday, October 26, through Thursday, November 1. The films include: Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, Despicable Me and The Lorax. All four movies will play each day of the festival.

12:00 PM – Junior Library Guild Warehouse Sale at Junior Library Guild – hundreds of children’s and young adult books will be on sale for $5 a book! There will also be food trucks on site!

4:00 PM – Howl-O-Ween at Ohio Wildlife Center – this family friendly event includes a trail walk and visits from “spooky” animals! $5/person. Kids 5 and under are free.

5:00 PM – $5 Friday Pony Rides & Petting Zoo at Horse -N- Round Fun – this event includes $5 pony and horse rides and a free petting zoo! No reservation needed.

5:00 PM – Boo at the Zoo at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – dress up in costume and trick or treat around various vendors and organizations at the Zoo! There will be special activities, meet and greets and performances!

5:00 PM – Boo at the Shroom! at Mellow Mushroom (Dublin, OH) – this free event at Mellow Mushroom in Dublin includes face painting, balloon twisting, and goodie bags! There will be crafts and the staff will be in costume! Come in costume!

5:30 PM – Trick or Treat at The Shops at Worthington Place – this Halloween event includes a balloon artist, face painting, crafts and candy!

6:00 PM – SuperGames Open Play! at SuperGames – open play is available on a first come first served basis! Cost is $10/child.

6:00 PM – Midnight Madness in Uptown Westerville – stores in Uptown Westerville will be open late and decorated for Halloween! There will be horse drawn carriage rides, spooky activities, a Haunted Garden, Wands and Wizards at the Westerville Library, candy and more!

6:00 PM – Obetz Halloween Party at Dixon Quarry – this free event includes trunk or treat, games, prizes, a haunted hay ride, costume contest and more!

6:00 PM – Halloween Themed Parents Night Out at We Rock the Spectrum – Columbus – kids can be dropped off for this Halloween themed evening including games, crafts and snacks! Call the gym to register.

6:00 PM – Wizards & Wands Festival at Westerville Public Library – Enjoy a walk-through experience of activities as the library is transformed into a wizarding wonderland with spirited storefronts, puzzling platforms, bizarre buses & much more. This is a free event and no registration is required! Costumes are encouraged!

6:00 PM – Trick or Treat Trail at Prairie Township Community Center – come dressed in costume to walk through the trick or treat trail and collect candy! This is a free event!

6:30 PM – Free Family Halloween Party at Vineyard Community Church – take part in a trunk or treat, enjoy inflatables, Halloween movies, games and activities. Come in costume!

6:30 PM – Movies in the Park and Halloween Fun at Westgate Community Recreation – enjoy Halloween activities inside the Rec Center and then enjoy the movie Monster House outside in the park. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

7:00 PM – Dracula at Columbus Children’s Theatre – this is a 2 act play with intermission featuring the scary and funny story of Dracula! This show is performed at park Street Theatre.

7:00 PM – Family Pumpkin Night at Picassos – families can paint, carve and decorate pumpkins! This event is $45/family and includes supplies, snacks and 3 pumpkins.

7:30 PM – Haunted Wagon Rides

 at Young’s Jersey Dairy – take a scary wagon ride around Young’s Jersey Dairy! This is for families, but it will be scary!

8:00 PM – Disney’s Aladdin at Ohio Theatre – see the story of Disney’s Aladdin performed at Ohio Theatre!

Fall Festivals Happening On the Weekends in Columbus and Central Ohio

Pumpkin Picking and Hayrides at Kuhlweins Farm Market & Deli – Fall Fun at Kuhlweins Market and Deli includes a hayride, animal zoo, corn maze and pumpkin picking! Inflatables, pony rides, balloon twisting and face painting on the weekends!

Great Pumpkin Fun Center at Pigeon Roost – Pigeon Roost features a pumpkin patch, farm animals and The Great Pumpkin Fun Center with giant slides, mazes, a fort, play areas, and tons more! Weekends include wagon rides, face painting, crafters and concessions!

Fall Fun Days at Circle S Farms – This farm is one of the few open during the week! Fall Fun Days feature hayrides, pumpkin picking, farm market, petting zoo, corn and sunflower mazes, bale cave and more!

Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – At Lynd Fruit Farm you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and enjoy the farm market on its own or also head over to the giant corn maze where there is also a barrel train, fun zone, bounce house, wagons rides and more!

The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek features a huge corn maze plus a cow train, barnyard bouncer, petting zoo, kiddie maze, ball zone, slides, laser tag, pedal carts, kids fun barn, tether ball and more! Hayrides are also available!

Fall Farm Fun at Leeds Farm – Leeds Farm is open six weekends only through October 28 with hayrides, farm animals, farm pond, pumpkins and gourds! Back 40 Barn Pass admission includes Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, and mini zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, the biggest corn box in Ohio, and more! Fall Fun Festival at Dill’s Greenhouse – Fall festivals are happening on the weekends, September 29 – October 31, 2017. Hayrides, corn maze, fire pit and hotdogs and s’mores for roasting (bring your own or purchase there), straw maze, sand box, pumpkins, games and activities!

Fall Festival at Hidden Creek Farms – Festival weekends offer hayrides, pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, fall decorations, food, pony rides, slide, kids play barn, corn pit, farm animals, straw maze, and more!

Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival

 at Freeman’s Farm – The Fall Festival weekends at Freeman’s Farm include hayrides, kettle corn, campfire foods, scarecrow making, a petting zoo and apple butter making! Fall Festival Weekends at Orchard and Company – Fall Festival weekends include apple picking, fishing, hay rides, corn pit, farm animals, barrel train rides, pedal car track, tire climb, zip line, gem mining and more! Read about our Plain City Apple Picking Adventures!

Fall Fun at Lehner’s at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm – fall fun at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm begins this weekend and includes over 30 rides and attractions including a corn maze, giant LEGOS, a play barn, mini golf, pumpkins and more!

Fall Festival at the Farm at Wanut Creek – the farm is open Monday through Saturday. Weekend activities include apple butter cooking, candle carving, basket weaving, spinning and weaving and more in addition to these activities going on all week: corn box, pumpkin slingshot, straw castle, kids maze, scavenger hunt and more! Fall Family Fun at Miller’s Country Gardens – Saturdays and Sundays there will be hayrides, barrel rides for kids, a play area, straw tunnel, corn maze and animal barn! Take a hayride to pick your own pumpkin!

8:00 AM – Halloween Market at Worthington Farmers Market – the Farmer’s Market gets a little spooky this week with witches brew and scary snacks! Wear a costume – there will be contests!

8:00 AM – Nostalgic Treat Saturday at Bake Me Happy – celebrate Bake Me Happy’s anniversary with nostalgic treats made gluten free! There will also be coffee drinks available!

9:00 AM – Applebutter & Horseradish Day at Lawrence Orchards – stir apple butter and taste fresh horseradish! There will be hayrides and a hay maze and corn pit.

9:00 AM – Read with the Deputy at Coffee Connections of Hilliard, LLC – hear a story read by the deputy! Books will also be given away at this event.

9:00 AM – The Haunted Maze

 at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this scary maze is free during regular business hours at Hoover Gardens through October 31st. Parents use your best judgement and consider escorting younger children through the maze!

9:30 AM – Stroller Strides Pumpkin Workout and Playdate at Fancyburg Park – bring a medium sized pumpkin to this workout and decorate it afterwards with your kids! Your first workout with FIT4MOM is free! The play date is also free to attend.

10:00 AM – Dracula at Columbus Children’s Theatre – this is a 2 act play with intermission featuring the scary and funny story of Dracula! This show is performed at park Street Theatre.

10:00 AM – Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus – during regular business hours there will be a Halloween celebration including prizes, a seasonal scavenger hunt in MAINLAND, family-friendly activities and Halloween-themed builds. Costumes welcome!

10:00 AM – Trick or Treat at the Conservatory at Franklin Park Conservatory – come in costume to trick or treat through the Conservatory and Children’s Garden! Stations are inside and outside! Included with admission.

10:00 AM – CCT Costume Parking Lot Bonanza at Columbus Children’s Theatre – find your Halloween (or just because) costume when Columbus Children’s Theatre cleans out their collection! Most pieces will be $1!

10:00 AM – Halloween Weekend: Kid Costume at Ten Pin Alley – kids 15 and under who come in costume will receive one free laser tag mission!

10:00 AM – Fall Fun Day at Dutch Mill Greenhouse – this even includes free pumpkins for kids to decorate, popcorn and cider, a food trucks, sales and discounts!

10:00 AM – Trick or Tweet at Grange Insurance Audubon Center – this Halloween event for preschoolers includes a not so scary story time and goodie bags! Come in costume! See info in link for registration info.

10:00 AM – Boo at the Zoo at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – dress up in costume and trick or treat around various vendors and organizations at the Zoo! There will be special activities, meet and greets and performances!

10:00 AM – Halloween Hoot at Gateway Film Center – enjoy lobby activities, family friendly films and music between the films by The Shazzbots! Free with a canned good donation to the Open Shelter.

10:00 AM – Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at We Rock the Spectrum – Columbus – this open play time will include Halloween activities! There will be crafts, snacks, a Halloween Music Class and more. $12 for the first child, $10 for siblings.

10:00 AM – Halloween Hoopla! at Marysville Public Library – this Halloween party includes treats, crafts, pumpkin painting and more!

10:00 AM – Halloween ComicFest at The Laughing Ogre – this event includes free comics, and candy, a light sabre demonstration, and music by The Shazzbots! They will also be collecting food for The South Side Community Ministries Food Pantry.

11:00 AM – Boo ‘n Brew at Polaris Fashion Place – every Saturday in October there will be a Halloween celebration including trick or treating, craft zone, food trucks, princess, costume parade, live music and more!

11:00 AM – Skylarks Toys & Comic Annual Halloween ComicFest at Skylarks Toys & Comics – this festival includes games, candy, costume contests, free comics and more!

11:00 AM – Creepside Festival at Creekside Park & Plaza – this free “not so scary” event includes live music, games, activities, trick or treat, escape rooms, inflatables and more!

11:00 AM – Pony Rides, Pumpkins & Petting Zoo at Horse -N- Round Fun – get a pony ride and a pumpkin for $8! There will be free hay rides, free petting zoo and other farm activities.

11:00 AM – Heritage Day at Weaver Park – this event includes family friendly, historical activities including a hay ride, make your own bookmark, and demonstrations from a blacksmith, broom maker and more!

2:00 PM – Disney’s Aladdin at Ohio Theatre – see the story of Disney’s Aladdin performed at Ohio Theatre!

3:00 PM – Dracula at Columbus Children’s Theatre – this is a 2 act play with intermission featuring the scary and funny story of Dracula! This show is performed at park Street Theatre.

4:00 PM – Halloween Sing-a-long Costume Parade at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church – this is a free music show for families that includes a costume parade! There will be audience participation, instruments, bubbles and games!

4:00 PM – Candy by the Carload in the City of Powell Local Government – trick or treat in the parking lot of the municipal Building!

5:00 PM – A Haunted Night in the Gardens at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this event includes games, a haunted maze, face painting, costume contest, pumpkin painting and more!

6:00 PM – Rule (3)’s Annual Halloween Party at Rule 3 – this Halloween party includes face painting, costume contest, spooky games, an appearance from Minnie and Micky Mouse, a Haunted House and more!

5:00 PM – Trunk or Treat & Fall Fest at Grove City UMC – this event includes trunk or treat, food trucks, games, face painting, balloon animals, inflatables, giveaways and more!

5:00 PM – Hilliard Trunk or Treat at Hilliard/Ray Patch Family YMCA – this event includes trunk or treating, food trucks, music, fire and police vehicles, a Photo Booth, bounce houses and more!

6:00 PM – Halloween Bouncing Party at Blue Monkey Parties & Events – get an hour of play and a goody bag for $10 at this Halloween Party with lots of bouncing! Wear a costume! RSVP on the FB event page!

6:00 PM – BOO NIGHT at Big Bounce – Boo Night includes games, a costume contest with prizes and pizza! $12/person.
