FRIDAY

9:30 AM – Fight Like a Mother with FIT4MOM Upper Arlington – this is a special class with FIT4MOM Upper Arlington honoring the breast cancer warriors in our lives! Wear pink for the work out and FIT4MOM UA will donate $10 to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research for each mom who attends.

9:30 AM – Toddler Play Time – Art Explorers at Creative Art Bar Hilliard – this is a 2 hour toddler play time that includes sensory stations, arts and carts and more! Best for kids up to age 5.

10:00 AM – Forest Fridays at Sunbury Urban Farm – kids ages 2-5 can enjoy a forest play time and a nature activity! $5 suggested donation.

11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Jersey Dairy – Young’s Dairy is offering pick your own pumpkins this weekend! Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

2:15 PM – Big Bounce America | Columbus, OH at LVL UP Sports Paintball Park – the world’s biggest bounce house will be in grove city Friday, Saturday and Sunday and includes different themed zones and activities!

4:00 PM – Unicorn/Pony Rides at Horse-N-Round Fun – $5 Unicorn and pony rides plus a free petting zoo!

4:00 PM – The 3rd Annual Columbus Mac and Cheese Festival at Easton Town Center – this is a family-friendly event that supports adolescent and young adult cancer research. Try mac and cheese from some of Columbus’ best restaurants.

5:00 PM – Second Annual PugtoberFest (First Friday) at Champion City Guide & Supply – learn about the mission of Ohio Pug Rescue and participate in a pug party! 

5:00 PM – The 39th Annual Columbus Italian Festival in Italian Village – the Italian Festival features a parade, Italian cultural events, rides and activities for kids, food, a bocce ball competition and more! Admission is $5 and kids 12 and under are free with adult admission.

5:30 PM – The Spectacular Fall Family Concert at North Broadway Children’s Center – this is a free event featuring food trucks, games, inflatables and a kid-friendly concert by Red Grammar!

7:30 PM
 – Haunted Wagon Rides

 at Young’s Jersey Dairy – take a scary wagon ride around Young’s Jersey Dairy! This is for families, but it will be scary!

7:30 PM – LIVE: Fox n Hounds at  Ten Pin Alley – enjoy live bluegrass music on the patio at Ten Pin Alley.

8:00 PM – Alum Creek State Park Fall Fest at Alum Creek State Park – this fall fest includes a scavenger hunt, night hikes, movies, a Haunted Trail, wagon rides, fishing and more!


Fall Festivals Happening On the Weekends in Columbus and Central Ohio

Pumpkin Picking and Hayrides at Kuhlweins Farm Market & Deli – Fall Fun at Kuhlweins Market and Deli includes a hayride, animal zoo, corn maze and pumpkin picking! Inflatables, pony rides, balloon twisting and face painting on the weekends!

Great Pumpkin Fun Center at Pigeon Roost – Pigeon Roost features a pumpkin patch, farm animals and The Great Pumpkin Fun Center with giant slides, mazes, a fort, play areas, and tons more! Weekends include wagon rides, face painting, crafters and concessions!

Fall Fun Days at Circle S Farms – This farm is one of the few open during the week! Fall Fun Days feature hayrides, pumpkin picking, farm market, petting zoo, corn and sunflower mazes, bale cave and more!

Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – At Lynd Fruit Farm you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and enjoy the farm market on its own or also head over to the giant corn maze where there is also a barrel train, fun zone, bounce house, wagons rides and more!

The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek features a huge corn maze plus a cow train, barnyard bouncer, petting zoo, kiddie maze, ball zone, slides, laser tag, pedal carts, kids fun barn, tether ball and more! Hayrides are also available!

Fall Farm Fun at Leeds Farm – Leeds Farm is open six weekends only through October 28 with hayrides, farm animals, farm pond, pumpkins and gourds! Back 40 Barn Pass admission includes Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, and mini zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, the biggest corn box in Ohio, and more! Fall Fun Festival at Dill’s Greenhouse – Fall festivals are happening on the weekends, September 29 – October 31, 2017. Hayrides, corn maze, fire pit and hotdogs and s’mores for roasting (bring your own or purchase there), straw maze, sand box, pumpkins, games and activities!

Fall Festival at Hidden Creek Farms – Festival weekends offer hayrides, pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, fall decorations, food, pony rides, slide, kids play barn, corn pit, farm animals, straw maze, and more!

Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival

 at Freeman’s Farm – The Fall Festival weekends at Freeman’s Farm include hayrides, kettle corn, campfire foods, scarecrow making, a petting zoo and apple butter making! Fall Fun at Lehner’s at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm – fall fun at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm begins this weekend and includes over 30 rides and attractions including a corn maze, giant LEGOS, a play barn, mini golf, pumpkins and more!

Fall Festival at the Farm at Wanut Creek – the farm is open Monday through Saturday. 11:00 AM –  42nd Annual Fall Farm Pumpkin Festival at Young’s Jersey Dairy  – this festival includes cow milking demonstrations, donut hole making, pumpkin painting, a pumpkin launcher, cheese samples and more!

12:00 PM – Fall Festival at HTH Farm Market – this fall festival includes a chili cook off, face painting, pumping bowling, carnival games and live music.

12:00 PM – Kids Paint Free Day at Clay Cafe Clintonville – no painting fee for kids on Sundays through November 11th!

1:00 PM – Grove City Old Time Harvest Day at Century Village – this celebration of Ohio history includes hands on activities, old-time games, crafts and the opportunity to try out daily chores from the past. There is a historical village where demonstrations will take place. Attendance is free and donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for Grove City Food Pantry.

1:00 PM – Pies in the Park at Friendship Park – if you love pizza, check out this celebration of all things pizza in Friendship Park! Gahanna’s best pizza vendors will be selling samples, there will be a corn hole tournament and opportunities to take an herb walk in the park.

1:00 PM – Superhero Day at The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – meet Superheroes at The MAiZE! There will be free balloon sculptures and face painting with admission.

1:00 PM – Darby Creek Day at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – this day includes fun outdoor activities, live animals and the opportunity to learn about protecting the Darby Watershed.

2:00 PM – Dinosaur Day at Orton Hall – check out the new dinosaur on campus: Cryolophosaurus ellioti! He was discovered by one of OSU’s geology professors in Antarctica! The open house includes coloring books and dinosaur cookies, a meet and greet with the man who discovered the dinosaurs and more! This is a free event.

2:30 PM – Teddy Bear Concert: Aesop’s Fables at Renaissance Theatre – take a road trip to Mansfield to see three of Aesop’s fables brought to life in a musical adaptation which includes audience participation!

3:00 PM – PTFD Food Truck & Fire Prevention Festival! at Prairie Township Fire Department – this festival includes food trucks and the opportunity to learn about Fire Safety!

4:00 PM – Around the Bonfire at Coffee Connections of Hilliard, LLC – this event includes a bonfire, a hot dog bar and s’mores bar! A donation of $5 will get you 2 hotdogs, s’mores and a drink. Proceeds benefit Emerson’s House of Refuge in El Salvador.

4:00 PM – Harvest Festival at Buckeye Christian Church – this festival includes inflatables, food trucks, games and more! This is a free event.

4:30 PM – Glow & Give: Family Dance Party at Coffman Park Pavilion, Dublin Ohio – this family-friendly dance party includes food trucks, inflatables, music, games, a photo booth and more! Admission is free but supporting the vendors, buying an activity wristband and participating in the raffle help support Feel Better Foundation.

5:00 PM – Self Care Sunday at Hoot Studio – reserve a spot for date night! Drop your kids (age 2 and up) off for two hours of supervised play and activities. All proceeds will benefit Africa Yoga Project. Limited spots available.

Thanks for the list as always! Another to add - this weekend is one of the Saturday at the Symphony performances at the new Albany symphony! Oct 6 at 11:30. They do them a few times a year and my 4 year old loves them! Short concerts and there’s activities in the lobby beforehand!

Also, have you checked out the new observation area at OSU’s new terminal? Just opened at the end of the summer. Home game weekends means lots of planes to watch!
