FRIDAY

9:00 AM – 2018 Delaware County Fair – the Delaware County Fair includes animals, rides, vendors, a tractor pull, demonstrations, performances and more! The Fair runs from September 15-22, 2018.

9:00 AM – Huge Kids’ Sale Event – Northwest Columbus JBF at Franklin County Fairgrounds – shop for gently used kids clothing, toys, baby items and maternity clothes at this large consignment sale that’s happening September 20-23, 2018.

10:00 AM – Mary Poppins JR at Columbus Children’s Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly performance of Mary Poppins! The performance is one hour long with no intermission. Recommended for all ages.

11:00 AM – $5 Mug Day! at Color Me Mine (Dublin) – the first 100 customers will receive a mug and studio fee for $5. Mug must be painted on Friday and studio fees will be free for the rest of the day to paint anything else! One mug per person.

5:00 PM – Metro Parks and Pleasant Township Touch a Truck! at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – get up close to construction equipment, tractors, emergency vehicles and more!

6:00 PM – Night Market Presented by Byers at North Market – this outdoor market has a carnival-like atmosphere including food, wine and beer, vendors, games and activities for kids, music an more! Admission is free.

6:00 PM – Family Bingo Night at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – every Friday in September is Family Bingo Night!

6:00 PM – Bexley’s Got Talent & Star Wars: The Last Jedi – watch Bexley’s annual talent show followed by a showing of Star Wars The Last Jedi! This is a free event!

7:00 PM – Mary Poppins JR at Columbus Children’s Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly performance of Mary Poppins! The performance is one hour long with no intermission. Recommended for all ages.

7:30 PM – Bluegrass on the Patio at Ten Pin Alley – enjoy live music on the patio! This week’s band is High Water Drifters.

7:30 PM – Sunset Cinema – Footloose at Polaris Fashion Place – watch a movie outside by the fountain at Polaris Fashion Place. There will be free activities before the movie. The movie Footloose starts at 8:00 PM.

8:30 PM – Movies in the Park – Jumanji at Westgate Community Recreation – watch the movie Jumanji in the park! Refreshments will be available for purchase. In case of rain the movie will be shown inside the Rec Center.

8:00 AM – Lydie’s Loop 5K – this 1 mile walk and 5K run benefits stillbirth research, education and awareness. There is a kid’s dash, entertainment, a raffle and silent auction.

8:00 AM – Fallapalooza at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this free harvest festival includes a haunted maze, bounce houses, pumpkin painting ($2 per pumpkin), cotton candy and more!

9:00 AM – The Dublin Market at Bridge Park – enjoy a farmers market that includes vendors, food trucks, live music and more!

9:00 AM – 12th Annual Autism Harvest Festival at Leeds Farm – children and adults with autism and their siblings are invited to visit Leeds farm at no charge from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. There will be provider booths to visit and information available to help families as well as tons of fun on the farm!

10:00 AM – Harvest Fair at Stratford Ecological Center – this harvest fair includes opportunities to climb a tractor, feed chickens, ride a horse drawn wagon, live music and more! $5/person.

10:30 AM – Yankee Peddler Festival at Clay’s Park Resort – step back into pioneer America to enjoy a family friendly festival featuring crafters and artists, vendors, samples of colonial food, demonstrations and more!

11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Jersey Dairy – Young’s Dairy is offering pick your own pumpkins beginning this weekend! Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

11:00 AM – Pickerington Oktoberfest 2018 at Combustion Brewery & Taproom – this is a free community event that includes live music, food and beer, a stein holding contest and a barrel rolling contest!

11:00 AM – Mommy, Me, Belle & Tea! at Susie’s Bistro & Bakery – this is a free event in Newark that includes a visit from Princess Belle, cupcakes, a Royal Tea, cake pots, fairy wands and more!

11:00 AM – Experience Clintonville Days 2018 in Clintonville – spend the day exploring Clintonville! Get your BINGO card punched for the chance to win a gift card from a neighborhood store.

12:00 PM – Cops & Kids Day by the Westerville Sports Complex – kids can get up close to law enforcement vehicles, enjoy activities for kids and meet police officers! The first 1500 children will receive a free goodie bag. This is a free event.

1:00 PM – Mary Poppins JR at Columbus Children’s Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly performance of Mary Poppins! The performance is one hour long with no intermission. Recommended for all ages.

1:00 PM – Harrison West Jazz Stage in Harrison Park – enjoy a free jazz concert in the gazebo featuring The Shawn “Thunder” Wallace Quartet . There’s room for blankets and seats plus a playground for kids. There will be a food truck on site as well.

3:30 PM – Fall Fun Day at Grange Insurance Audubon Center – this fall festival includes crafts, games, snacks and stories with a fall theme! You must register by Thursday, September 20th.

3:30 PM – Mary Poppins JR at Columbus Children’s Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly performance of Mary Poppins! The performance is one hour long with no intermission. Recommended for all ages.

4:00 PM – Pawpaw Prowl at Sharon Woods Metro Park – take a 1.5 mile walk to look for Ohio’s state native fruit and sample paw paw treats!
