3. Music Bash: Hits of the 60’s and 70’s at Slate Run Metro Park

Bill Foley is the featured artist at the second of three summer concerts sponsored by Friends of Metro Parks! This event is free and family friendly.

5. Franklin County Fair

So many events going on at the Franklin County Fair including a children’s tent with crafts, digging, food competitions and more! Each day has a theme and unlimited ride passes are available for $15/day. Sunday is Family Day and the unlimited ride passes will be $10. There is also a family circus going on most afternoons and evenings! Check the link for all the events including live music, races, tractor pulls and more!

6. Summer Jam at Westgate Park

This neighborhood festival of live music, art and food also includes a children’s art zone, a monarch tent, free face painting and more activities for kids!

7. Family Tram Rides at Sharon Woods Metro Park

Get a tour of the park via tram ride! Pick up the tram at any yellow tram stop sign! You can also do this on Sunday!

8. Family Fun at YWCA with Seeds of Caring

9. Ice Cream Social and Touch a Truck at Jefferson Community Park
