Events are in chronological order. Ongoing events are listed first. If an event happens multiple times during a weekend, it will be listed in the order of its first occurrence, so make sure to read through the whole list! Have a great weekend!

1. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory

Visit the Pacific Island Water Garden between now and July 6th to walk amongst the butterflies! You can also view butterflies emerging from their chrysalises in the Metamorphosis Lab. This activity is available during regular hours (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and is included in admission.

2. Calling All Bookworms! Kids’ Book Drive with Seeds of Caring

It’s National Library Week – the perfect time to help put books in the hands of local kids! In this Seeds of Caring Anywhere Project, your family, team, troop, or neighborhood can collect new or gently used children’s books for Columbus-based youth literacy group 2nd & 7, now through April 13.

3. Build the Thrill Event at LEGOLAND®

From March 6 – April 27 visitors can create the ultimate race car and beat the clock in an awesome race during the Build the Thrill Event. There will be building challenges, special scenes in MINILAND and special activities and photo ops! (Watch my Instagram Reel about Build the Thrill!)

4. Grove City Bunny Hunt

Print a Bunny Hunt entry sheet and find 14 bunnies throughout Grove City Town Center now through April 19th. Submit your completed form to win a prize. Check the link for all the details!

5. Photos with the Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place

Photos with the Bunny begin on Friday, March 21 and run through April 19th at Polaris Fashion Place! Book your reservation online and receive a complimentary gift. Walk-ups are also welcome. This year’s theme is Alice in Wonderland. All kids that visit the Bunny will receive a coupon good for 1 free small gelato at I Scream Gelato at Polaris Fashion Place.

6. Whitehall Branch Birthday

Celebrate the 10th Birthday of the Whitehall Branch of Columbus Metropolitan Library on Friday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

7. Eggstravaganza 2025 at C3 Church Canal Winchester

This is a free community flashlight Easter Egg Hunt with 20,000 eggs for children ages 0-12. There will be activities, inflatables, games, pictures with the Easter Bunny and more! Doors open at 7:00 PM on Friday. Register online. Bring a flashlight and Easter basket.

8. The Bunny Hop in Downtown Hilliard

Bring a basket to collect candy and trinkets from Hilliard businesses on Main Street and Hilliard’s Station Park. Meet the Easter Bunny in the park and get photos, too! This event will take place on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

9. Llama Llama Red Pajama at CCT Studios

Enjoy a kid-friendly, 30-minute interactive storytime featuring the book Llama Llama Red Pajama this weekend at CCT Studios! There are five show times on both Saturday and Sunday!

10. Morning Chores at Slate Run Farm

Register in advance to help the farmer do chores and feed animals at Slate Run Farm on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. Must be 5 or older.

11. Sharks at COSI

Explore dozens of life-sized models of sharks at this temporary exhibit at COSI that also includes fossils and interactive exhibits! The exhibit will be on display from April 12 through September 1, 2025. COSI opens at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Plan your visit to COSI with this blog post!

12. Pete the Cat Storytime at Westerville Public Library

Enjoy stories and songs about Pete the Cat and meet him at this storytime at Westerville Public Library on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Recommended for ages 2-7.

13. WorthingTunes at Old Worthington Library

Enjoy a musical presentation of the book Kate and the Beanstalk performed by Worthington Chamber Orchestra on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Old Worthington Library.

14. Community Egg Hunt at McGill Park

This community egg hunt takes place in Canal Winchester on Saturday, promptly at 10:00 AM for children 10 and under. It will feature 15,000 eggs. Bring your own bag or basket.

15. Hilltop Hop at Broad & Westmoor

Hop over to participating businesses at the corner of Broad & Westmoor for food trucks, handmade vendors, 20% off all ready-to-paint Easter items at Clay Street Ceramics, and more on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

16. Bunny Trail at McNamara Park

Search for bunnies along a 1/3 mile paved trail in McNamara Park and enjoy a train ride, petting zoo, photos with the bunny, touch-a-truck, games, crafts and more! All ages are welcome. This event takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

17. Lewis Center Easter Egg Hunt at Olentangy High School

This event takes place on Saturday afternoon and is divided by age groups. The first egg hunt begins at 2:00 PM. There will also be free food, a bounce house, face painting, prizes, a visit from the Easter Bunny and more! Register online.

18. Meet Morty at Blendon Woods Nature Center

Drop by the Nature Center at Blendon Woods Metro Park to meet Morty, a European Starling, on Saturday between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

19. Holi Festival at Northwest Library

Celebrate the Hindu spring festival of colors with crafts and colored powder to throw. Dress for a mess on Saturday at 4:00 PM at Northwest Library.

20. The Columbus Mothers of Twins Clothing & Equipment Sale at TOCA Columbus

This annual clothing and equipment consignment sale will take place at a new location this year! Shop from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Sunday during general admission or donate $2 to charity to begin shopping at 7:00 AM!

21. Día de los Niños at Lincoln Theatre

This event at the Lincoln Theatre takes place on Sunday from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM and includes cultural and arts activities and a performance of 123 Andrés. There will be music, dance, crafts and a food truck. This event is free but registration is highly recommended.

22. Walk Among the Bluebells at Three Creeks Metro Park

Take a 1-mile walk at Three Creeks Metro Park to learn about the natural history of Virginia bluebells and other spring wildflowers on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

23. Family Fishing at Scioto Grove Metro Park

Fishing rods and bait will be provided to fish at Hickory Pond at Scioto Grove Metro Park on Sunday from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Register online.

24. Middle Grade Author’s Panel at Clintonville Books

Enjoy a panel conversation with local middle-grade authors Stacy Nockiwitz, Julia DeVilers, and Erik Jon Slangerup at Clintonville Books on Sunday at 6:00 PM.
