My son recently watched a YouTube video about a cat cafe and was dying to visit one so he could pet cats! I told him he was in luck, because there is, in fact, a cat cafe in Columbus!

Before you read any further, please note that kids need to be at least 6 years old to visit Kitty Bubble Cafe & Bar. Anyone under age 13 must be supervised by an adult and the ratio should be 1 adult for every 3 children.
Visiting the Kitty Bubble Cafe & Bar
First of all, this cafe is so cute. The cat decor is on point. If you or anyone in your family loves cats, you have to at least take them to the cafe portion of the Kitty Bubble Cafe & Bar.
When I first heard about a cat cafe, I must admit I had my doubts. The idea of animals mixing with food did not appeal to me! BUT after visiting, I must say I was very impressed! This kitty café was SUPER clean! In fact, I don’t even think I left with so much as a cat hair on my clothing!
The most important thing to know before visiting Kitty Bubble Cafe & Bar is that it is made up of two separate spaces. There is a major separation between the Cafe side and the Cat Lounge. In fact, it is separated by double doors to keep the cats from escaping from the lounge to the cafe! The two rooms also have separate HVAC systems to keep any allergens out of the cafe.
Additionally, it is important to know that there is no cost to visit the cafe & bar other than to purchase food or drink. Anyone can stop in and get a drink at any time. You can sit and enjoy the kitty decor and watch cats through the bubble windows! Drinks are allowed inside the Cat Lounge, but food is not.
The cafe also has a cute selection of cat-themed gift items to shop from as well!
On the menu you will find a selection of Featured Drinks, Wine and Sake. Food options on the menu include Mochi Ring donuts, Mjomii macarons (to die for!) and Mochi Paw Sandwiches.
I got the Brown Toe Bean drink, which is made of Black Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Bubble & Milk Cap. It was honestly one of the most unique and delicious drinks I have had in a while! And it’s served in a cute kitty cup!
Next time I am in the area, I will be stopping by just to get this drink again! (Don’t tell my son! haha)
Visiting the Cat Lounge at Kitty Bubble Cafe & Bar
Now, there IS a cost to enter the Cat Lounge and it is highly recommended that you schedule an appointment in advance online. Current pricing, per person, is $15 for one hour and $10 for 30 minutes in the Cat Lounge.
The tickets do tend to sell out and the small space fills up at 14 people. I was keeping an eye on the ticket times all weekend before we visited and they would usually fill up the day before. If there are slots available, walk-ins will be allowed but I wouldn’t count on it!
You can expect up to 20 cats at a time in the Cat Lounge. All of the cats are adoptable and are rescue cats from Colony Cats. They have all been blood tested, vaccinated and treated for fleas, ticks and parasites.
Adoption fees range from $50 – $100 and are paid to Colony Cats. The fee to enter the Cat Lounge supports the operating costs of the Lounge itself.

I visited this cat cafe as a skeptic and came out a believer! LOL I was really impressed by the level of cleanliness and the separation between the two rooms. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.
My son loved petting the cats, my drink was delicious and the whole place is just adorable! If you have a cat person in your family, this is a must-visit destination in Columbus!
