FRIDAY

9:00 AM – Eggs, Paws and Claws at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – this spring-themed event includes photos with the Bunny, character meet and greets, a story time at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, an egg hunt for the animals, plus other fun activities and performances!

10:00 AM – Hippity Hoppity Easter Egg Hunt! at Perry Park Playground – hunt for over 1000 eggs and enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny! There will be games and a free snack!

10:00 AM – For Kids: Go Fly a Kite at Homestead Metro Park – celebrate National Kite Month with Columbus Metro Parks. Fly a kite and make a kite to take home. Ages 15 and under.

10:00 AM – Bunny Photos at Easton Town Center – get your picture with the Easter Bunny – buy a 5X7 for $5 or take your own photo for free. Walk in or reserve your time online. Check the link for break times.

10:00 AM – Columbus Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory – The Columbus Blooms exhibit features all of the flowers and blooms of spring – over 125,000 of them – throughout the gardens and the Children’s Garden! This lasts through April 30, 2019.

10:15 AM – Our Village: Egg Hunt Play Date at Lazelle Woods Metro Park – join FIT4MOM Columbus North for an egg hunt! This free play date takes place after the workout and you do not need to be a member to participate in the playdate. 

10:30 AM – Easter Sensory Bin + Keepsake Bunny Canvas at Avery Park – join FIT4MOM Dublin for a free playgroup featuring an Easter craft! 

10:30 AM – Our Village: Shaving Cream Marbled Eggs Craft at Thompson Park – Join FIT4MOM Upper Arlington for a free playdate where kids will make shaving cream marbled Easter eggs! This playdate takes place after the workout.

11:00 AM – Pics With The Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place – get your picture taken with the Bunny through April 20th. Photo packages begin at $24.99.

11:00 AM – Brezelfest (Zoar Pretzel Day) at Historic Zoar Village – take a trip to Zoar Village for pretzel making demonstrations, museum tours and and an art exhibit.

12:00 PM – Pre-School Craft Easter Bunny at Prairie Township Community Center – make a sock Easter Bunny with your child. Snacks will be provided! Register online.

12:00 PM – Kids Paint Free Day at Clay Cafe Clintonville – studio fees are waived for kids on Friday between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM!

5:00 PM – Easter Bunny, Pony Rides & Petting Zoo at Horse -N- Round Fun – this event includes the Easter Bunny, pony rides and a free petting zoo. $8/rider for pony rides and meeting the Easter Bunny. Check the link for more details on pricing and a Family Deal.

6:00 PM – GAME NIGHT (tween/teen) @ Kreation’s Play Kafé at Dublin Toy Emporium – this is a game night for tweens and teens and features team games and individual play!

6:30 PM – Good Friday: Columbus International Children’s Choir at Linworth United Methodist Church – this is a free Good Friday concert featuring the Columbus International Children’s Choir.

7:00 PM – Disney On Ice presents Frozen at The Schottenstein Center – watch Disney’s Frozen portrayed on ice with a salute to Disney characters from every era. There are several performances this weekend!

8:00 PM – Howl at the Moon at Highbanks Metro Park – take a 3.5 mile hike with your dog!

SATURDAY

8:00 AM – Annual Bunny Romp at The Hills Market in Worthington – enjoy the pancake breakfast for $5/person from 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM! The Easter Bunny arrives at 11:30 AM and there will be an Egg Hunt at 12:00 PM.

9:00 AM – City of Delaware Easter Egg Hunt & Family Festival! at Delaware Veterans Park – there will be two Egg Hunt times at this event: 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. (Choose 1) There will be a family festival inside the YMCA with inflatables, photos with the Easter Bunny and other activities!

9:00 AM – Easter Bunny Brunch at The Barn at Blystone Farm – this brunch features an egg hunt, real bunny photos, ponies, face painting and more! There are two seating times (9:00 AM and 12:30 PM). Purchase tickets online.

10:00 AM – Earth Day Festival at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – celebrate Earth Day with family friendly activities and service opportunities.

10:00 AM – GPS Egg Hunt at Sharon Woods Metro Park – use a GPS unit to look for eggs hidden in the park. There will be prizes for those who find 4 or more eggs. 

10:00 AM – Easter Egg Hunt at The Wagnalls Memorial – this event includes an egg hunt, prizes, crafts, brunch and an interactive story time. The hunt will be for toddlers through 4th graders but all ages can participate in the other activities.

10:00 AM – Cowvin’s Kiddie Corral and Moovers & Shakers Open Weekends at Young’s Jersey Dairy – the Moovers and Shakers ride is open as well as Cowvin’s Kiddie Corral featuring a corn pit and slide, Tyke’s Tractors, a straw pit and bale climbing and more!

10:00 AM – Clintonville’s Easter Egg Hunt at Whetstone Park Of Roses – this is a hunt for kids up through age 10, broken down by age groups. Donuts and hot drinks will be available for purchase.

10:00 AM – Community Easter Egg Hunt at Hanners Park – this free community event features and Egg Hunt with special prizes and will be divided by age.

10:00 AM – Bunny Photos at Easton Town Center – get your picture with the Easter Bunny – buy a 5X7 for $5 or take your own photo for free. Walk in or reserve your time online. Check the link for break times.

10:00 AM – Columbus Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory – The Columbus Blooms exhibit features all of the flowers and blooms of spring – over 125,000 of them – throughout the gardens and the Children’s Garden! This lasts through April 30, 2019.

10:00 AM – Family Easter Egg Hunt in the Maple Grove Park at Maple Grove UMC- this Egg Hunt is for kids through 3rd grade and begins promptly at 11:00 AM. There will be crafts, games, face painting, tattoos, refreshments and visits with the Easter Bunny.

10:30 AM – The GRAND’s Easter Egg Hunt at THE GRAND of Dublin – this egg hunt will be broken into age groups and also includes a petting zoo, bake sale and pictures with the Easter Bunny, 

10:30 AM – Springfest Egg Hunt in New Albany – this event takes place at the New Albany football stadium and includes a hunt for 60,000 eggs dropped by helicopter, music, face painting, bounce houses, characters, games, prizes, food trucks and more!

This is a free vent and snacks will be provided. Registration required.

11:00 AM – Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Park Groveport Ohio – this family-friendly event includes food, games, giveaways and an egg hunt for kids and teens!

12:00 PM – Easter Celebration at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden – take a road trip to Cincy to search for golden eggs, treat stations, animal enrichment activities and the Easter Bunny!

12:00 PM – 2019 Earth Day Celebration at Genoa Park – this is a free festival celebrating Earth Day! There will be live music, food trucks, family activities, vendors, arts and crafts and science demos from COSI!

1:00 PM – Easter EGG-splosion at Indian Trail Elementary School – this event includes a giant, explosive easter egg, an egg hunt, prizes and more! Register online for quicker check-in!

1:00 PM – Spring Open Farm at Harrison Farm – visit the farm to meet the new baby goats and lambs! There will be alpaca shearing and a market!

1:00 PM – Free Easter Carnival at CrossLink Community Church – this event features games, crafts, a photo booth, bounce house and free pictures with the Easter Bunny.

1:00 PM – Easter Traditions at Slate Run Metro Park and Living Historical Farm – learn about Easter traditions of the 1880’s including natural egg dyes, card making, egg rolling and more!

1:00 PM – Open Barn Days at Sunrise Sanctuary – visit the animals at Sunrise Sanctuary during this monthly open house. Admission is $10/adult, $5 for kids and children 3 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance.

1:00 PM – Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt at Whetstone Community Center – register by April 18th for this hunt for kids with special needs, ages 6-16. This hunt takes place indoors and no child leaves empty handed! The Easter Bunny will be there as well. Register online or through email. 

3:00 PM – Tinker Lab at Southwest Public Libraries – kids in grades 2-5 can solve problems by using their imagination and thinking outside the box!

3:00 PM – Disney On Ice presents Frozen at The Schottenstein Center – watch Disney’s Frozen portrayed on ice with a salute to Disney characters from every era. There are several performances this weekend!

5:00 PM – Easter Celebration-Free Facepainting/Pinta Caritas at Dulce Vida North – celebrate Easter with free face painting by Pretty as a Princess Party! Easter eggs will be given away with purchase!

SUNDAY

12:00 PM – Easter Egg Hunt at Church in the Wild – this event features a hunt for 25,000 Easter Eggs, Disney princesses, superheroes, obstacles courses and more!

3:30 PM – Pete The Cat with Columbus Children’s Theatre – rock and roll with Pete the Cat at his family! This musical performance takes place at Park Street Theatre and is recommended for ages Pre-K and up.

FRIDAY

9:00 AM – Free Cookie Friday at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – get a free cookie with admission!

10:30 AM – Our Village Playdate: Let’s go fly a kite! at Thompson Park – make and take a kite on this playdate with FIT4MOM Upper Arlington!

5:00 PM – $5 Friday Pony Rides & Petting Zoo! at Horse -N- Round Fun – take a $5 pony ride and visit with other animals from the petting zoo!

5:30 PM – Adventures in Flight Opening Weekend at Deer Haven Park – this summer’s theme at Preservation Parks is Adventures in Flight! To kick off the summer, you can take a hot air balloon ride from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (first come, first served). They will also show the movie Up at 9:00 PM

6:00 PM – Clintonville Songsters at Fresh Thyme Farmers Markets Worthington – listen to free live music at the Fresh Thyme in Worthington!

6:00 PM – Mount Carmel St. Ann’s 4th Fridays in Westerville – there will be vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, kids activities and more! This month’s theme is Back to Nature and there will be live animals in town!

6:30 PM – The Main Event – Bexley – watch the movie Coco on Capital’s front lawn and enjoy fun activities from piccadilly!

7:00 PM – Family Fun Night at Highbanks Metro Park – enjoy a campfire, play games, do crafts and more!

8:30 PM – For Families: Wildlife Hike at Homestead Metro Park – take a 1 mile hike to look for nocturnal animals!

SATURDAY

9:00 AM – Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival at Velvet Ice Cream Factory – this three day festival includes ice cream eating contests, local artisans, pony rides, a car show, live entertainment, food and, of course, ice cream!

9:00 AM – Barking and Breakfast at Three Creeks Metro Park – enjoy breakfast snacks for you and your dog and then take your dog on a 3 mile walk! The whole family can join in!

10:00 AM – Opening Day at Ohio Village – Opening Day features a 1890’s style carnival! There will be cooking demonstrations, traditional games, fairy floss, and you can meet all of the residents of Ohio Village. There will also be a baseball game played by the Ohio Village Muffins!

10:00 AM – HOOT 87: Art at Gateway Film Center – watch family friendly short films, enjoy dance breaks with the Shazzbots and fun craft activities in the lobby! This event is free with a canned good donation to the Open Shelter.

10:30 AM – Story Time with the Hungry Caterpillar at Polaris Fashion Place – hear an interactive reading of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and do a caterpillar craft! Price is $5 to enter the Butterflies! attraction.

2:00 PM – Creeking at Blendon Woods Metropolitan Park – explore the creek looking for fish, salamanders and more!

3:00 PM – Family Tram Trek at Sharon Woods Metro Park -take a 30 minute tram tour of Sharon Woods Metro Park!

3:00 PM – Family Crafternoon at AR Workshop Worthington – this is a family-friendly, DIY workshop where you can paint your own wood or canvas piece!

4:00 PM – Family Fun Day at Columbus Commons – this event included bounce houses, crafts, face painting, soccer, carousel rides an more! This event is free but you will need a $5 wristband to access the inflatables.

5:00 PM – Super Saturday Pony Rides & Petting Zoo! at Horse -N- Round Fun – another option this weekend for the $5 pony rides and free petting zoo! You can also purchase an unlimited ride wristband for $26.

8:15 PM – Free Movie Night: The Greatest Showman at Columbus Commons – stick around after the Family Fun Day to watch the movie The Greatest Showman.

9:00 PM – Late Night Fishing at Prairie Oaks Metro Park – fish after dark at Darby Bend Lakes.

SUNDAY

11:00 AM – Jim Young Memorial Car Show at Giant Eagle Market District – this event includes activities for the whole family including live music, a bounce house, scavenger hunt and car show. Proceeds benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

MONDAY

9:15 AM – Memorial Day Family Stroller Strides Class at Hannah Park – join FIT4MOM Columbus East for their Memorial Day class for the whole family! There will be a treat after the work out!

10:00 AM – – Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival at Velvet Ice Cream Factory – this three day festival includes ice cream eating contests, local artisans, pony rides, a car show, live entertainment, food and, of course, ice cream!

10:00 AM – Powell Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony – the annual Memorial Day Parade features more than 60 units and the ceremony takes place immediately following the parade.

1:00 PM – Canoe and Kayak the Lakes at Prairie Oaks Metro Park – canoe or kayak Darby Bend Lakes. Kids must be able to fit into a life jacket tot ride.
