2. Celebrate Arbor Day at Dawes Arboretum

On April 29, 30 and May 1 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM visit the Visitors Center at The Dawes Arboretum to pick up a free tree while supplies last! Check out the link for virtual Arbor Day programming!

3. Take & Make: Coloring at Southwest Public Libraries

Stop by the Southwest Public Library locations beginning Friday at 10:00 AM to pick up coloring pages! Take home kits are available while supplies last.

4. Mother’s Day Makers Event at Busy Bees Pottery & Arts Studio

Make a customized gift for mom on Friday afternoon! There are a variety of projects to choose from. Make a reservation online.

5. Grandview Kidsfest at Trinity United Methodist Church

Grandview Kidsfest takes place on Friday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and includes 2 registration options including character visits, VIP bags, vendors and more. This is a walk through event with limited attendance. Register online.

6. Merion Village 2021 Spring Yard Sale

The Spring Yard Sale in Merion Village takes place on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Search for treasure at the residents and businesses in the neighborhood!

7. Star Wars Bingo Kit at Southwest Public Libraries

On Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, pick up a Star Wars Bingo kit so you can celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4. Kits will be available while supplies last.

8. Little Kid Fun Skates at Skate Zone 71

Fisher Price Skates and wrist guards are available for little kids to learn to skate on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Recommended for ages 2-8.

9. KidX: Favorite Flicks at Polaris Fashion Place

This KidX event features your favorite movie characters on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM during a drive through event. There will be goodie bags and giveaways!

10. Free Cotton Candy Skate Day at United Skates of America

On Saturday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM each child will receive a free bag of cotton candy with full price admission.

11. Breakable Candy Kraft at Dublin Toy Emporium

Make a breakable candy with a surprise inside! $10/crafter. Register for a time slot on Saturday afternoon. 

12. You-Know-Hoo Painting Event at Pinot’s Palette

Paint an owl, all supplies included! Register online for this Saturday class at 3:30 PM.

13. May Powell Street Market

Shop 65+ artisans, vendors and artisans on Sunday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM! This will be a family-friendly atmosphere.

1. School’s Out Open House at Glass Axis

Reserve your spot in advance for kids 18 and under to make a glass art project for any age! Friday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. 

2. Outdoor Family Movie Night: Moana at Hilliard Church of Christ

Watch Moana on the lawn at 8:30 PM on Friday! Snacks and drinks provided! 

3. Babe – A little pig goes a long way! Drive-In Movie Night

Head over to the Winchester Trail Elementary School in Canal Winchester for Babe! Movie starts at 8:30 on Friday night and Fantasy Cupcake will be on site selling goodies! 

4. Gahanna Summer Drive-In Series

Head to Headley Park on Friday nights for drive-in concerts and movies! This Friday night there will be a screening of “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.” Register in advance if you want to attend!

5. Garage Rummage Sale at Creative Art Bar Hilliard

Creative Art Bar of Hilliard is temporarily closing their art studio and selling a lot of art supplies, yarn, beads, craft items and more! Sale is from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday. 

6. Fairytale Skate Party at Skate Zone 71

On Saturday from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM enjoy a fairytale pizza skate! Admission includes a slice of cheese pizza and a small drink. There will also be a costume contest!

7. Superhero Skate at United Skates of America

From 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM you can skate in your favorite Superhero gear for a $2 admission.

8. From Book to Film Outdoor Movie: Hook

Register in advance for this outdoor movie in the parking lot at the Future Home of Bridgeway Academy on Saturday night. The movie begins shortly after sundown. Bring a chair or blanket!

9. Food Truck Rally at Worthington Moose 1427

Visit the Lodge on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM to get your meal from one of 12 local food trucks!

10. Visit the Paul Busse Garden Railway at Franklin Park Conservatory 

Visit this outdoor railroad on display in the Grand Mallway through January 2021! The display is made from items found in nature, miniature garden, waterfalls and magical scenes! You must purchase your ticket in advance to visit the Conservatory!

1. Haunted Maze at Hoover Gardens

The haunted maze at Hoover Gardnes is free to walk through and kid-friendly! The maze is open during regular businesses hours and is appropriate for ages 7 and up!

2. Great Pumpkin Fun Center at Pigeon Roost

Pigeon Roost features a pumpkin patch, farm animals and The Great Pumpkin Fun Center with giant slides, mazes, a fort, play areas, and tons more! Weekends include wagon rides, face painting, crafters and concessions!

3. Fall Fun Days at Circle S Farms

When: Thursday, September 28-October 31, 2017

Fall Fun Days start on September 28 and run through October 31, 2017. This farm is one of the few open during the week! Fall Fun Days feature hayrides, pumpkin picking, farm market, petting zoo, corn and sunflower mazes, bale cave and more!

4. Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm

When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until October 29, 2017

At Lynd Fruit Farm you can pick your own apples and enjoy the farm market on its own or also head over to the giant corn maze where there is also a barrel train, fun zone, bounce house, wagons rides and more! Pick your own pumpkins starts Sept. 29.

5. Family Friday Night at COSI

When: Friday, September 29, 2017

On the last Friday of each month, COSI offers extended hours (open until 9PM!) and price reduced admission to families so you can visit, learn, and play late! General admission is only $11 after 5pm and includes all of COSI’s permanent exhibitions plus a movie in the National Geographic Giant Screen Theater! (Free for members.)

6. Fall Fun Festival at Dill’s Greenhouse

When: Weekends beginning September 30 through October 31, 2017
Time: Fridays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Fall festivals are happening Friday nights and weekends, September 30 – October 31, 2017. Hayrides, corn maze, fire pit and hotdogs and s’mores for roasting (bring your own or purchase there), straw maze, sand box, pumpkins, games and activities! Friday dates are October 7th, 14th and 21st (weather permitting) from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

7. Sunset Cinema at Polaris Fashion Place

Each Friday night in September, Polaris Fashion Place will be showing a family friendly film with free activities beforehand! This week is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to the outdoor area. Activities begin at 7:00 PM and the movie starts at 7:45 PM. California Pizza Kitchen will be there this week to show your kids show to toss pizza dough!

8. Expo and Family Fun Day at Grove City YMCA

This expo includes a lot of local agencies and small business owners and the family fun day features touch-a-truck, bounce house and giant slide, animals from Columbus Zoo, crafts, activities and food trucks! Cost is $5/person and $15/family.

9. Fall Festival at Freeman’s Farm

When: Saturday and Sundays through October 29, 2017
Time: Sat: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sun: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

10. Fall Festival at Hidden Creek Farms

11. Applefest at Lawrence Orchards

12. Fall Harvest Weekends at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm

There is a really long list of activities going on throughout all of the weekends now through October at this pumpkin farm in Delaware County! Activities include a corn maze, play barn, barrel rides, pumpkin picking and tons more! Visit the website for pricing and more info!

13. Horse Drawn Hay Rides at Leeds Farm

When: Saturdays and Sundays through October 29, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Leeds Farm is open six weekends only through October 29 plus Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 with hayrides, farm animals, farm pond, pumpkins and gourds! Back 40 Barn Pass admission includes Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, Big Zip and mini zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, the biggest corn box in Ohio, and more! This weekend only they will offer horse drawn hayrides from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. On Sunday  you can observe the Gus ‘Squashcarver’ Smithhisler Giant Pumpkin Carving!

14. Fall Festival at Cheryl’s Cookies and Brownies

This free event includes a free gift for the first 50 customers, a special visit from Columbus Zoo (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM), a hay maze, pumpkin bowling, corn hole balloon animals, Westerville Police and Fire depts., special deals and more! The festival supports Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

15. Pumpkinpalooza at Emswiler Farms

Pumpkinpalooza includes hayrides, live entertainment, bounce houses, face painting, a pumpkin patch, music, crafts, food and more!  All proceeds benefit the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

16. HOOT 79: Pirates at Gateway Film Center

This event takes place the last Saturday of each month and includes family friendly activities like games, stories, crafts and live music by the Shazzbots! The kid-friendly short films start at 11:00 AM. This month’s theme is Pirates! All movies are rated “G” and admission is free with a suggestion donation of a canned good for The Open Shelter! Recommended for ages 1-8.

17. Chalk the Block 6 at Easton Town Center

40 artists will draw large scale chalk drawings on the pavement at Easton Town Center this weekend! There will also be food, music, a kids’ drawing area and an art exhibition! Watch the artists in action on Saturday and/or come back on Sunday to view the creations!

21. Harvest Fair at Columbus Commons

Celebrate fall with pedicab “hay rides” games, a pumpkin patch, entertainment, crafts and other activities like face painting, putt-putt, carousel rides, square dancing, pumpkin carving and more! Many of the activities are free and you can purchase a $5 wristband for unlimited inflatable jumping!

22. Floating Pumpkin Patch at Worthington Pools

23. Columbus Baby Expo at The Westin Columbus

This expo is for all things baby! You can find out about the latest baby products and attend seminars. Competitions, refreshments and a play area for children are included! General admission is $10 and kids are free. Gently used donations are also be accepted.

24. CBJ Day at the The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek

The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek features a huge corn maze plus a cow train, barnyard bouncer, petting zoo, kiddie maze, ball zone, slides, laser tag, pedal carts, kids fun barn, tether ball and more! Hayrides are also available! Sunday is CBJ Day with a Blue Jackets locker room display, slap shot game, video games, prizes and balloon sculptures by Erica Carlson!

25. Old-Time Harvest Day in Fryer Park

When: Sunday, October 1, 2017
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Head to Century Village in Fryer Park for a celebration of fall and agriculture! There will be storytelling, demonstrations, hands on activities like leather tooling, rope weaving, churning butter and pumping water. Visit the historical buildings in the village, take a wagon ride and watch traditional cooking demonstrations! This event is free but donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for the Grove City Food Pantry.

Dill’s Greenhouse is hosting our annual Fall Fun Festival. It is a favorite with both kids and adults alike.
