1. Easton Egg Hunt at Easton Town Center

The Easter Bunny has scattered eggs all around Easton! Use the list of clues (at the link above) to find the eggs and receive a special treat. Pick up your scavenger hunt worksheet at the Guest Services desk and turn it back in when you find 5 or more eggs to get a prize! This event is going on from March 24 – April 16, 2023. Try out one of these family-friendly restaurants at Easton when you visit!

2. Kids Dream Winter Film Series At Marcus Theatres

Starting January 13th through April 2nd visit Marcus Theatres for Kids Dream Winter Film Series. This event features a line up of family films and an opportunity for free tickets when you redeem vouchers through American Family Insurance. See link for tickets, times and pricing.

3. Mini Makers at The Works

Kids ages 3-6 can work together to create and build projects that combine art and STEM. Included in admission at The Works on Friday from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM. Check out more things to do with kids in Newark, Ohio while you’re there!

4. Ohio Department of Agriculture Day at COSI

Visit COSI on Friday all day (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) to watch a USDA tree climbing demonstration, enjoy hands-on learning activities, go on a scavenger hunt, and more! Activities will be inside the building and also outside on Dorrian Green. This event is included in admission or membership.

5. Photos and Visits with the Easter Bunny at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing

Visit the Easter Bunny at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing beginning Friday, March 17th. Times are Monday through Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

6. Easton Bunny at Easton Town Center

On Friday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM you can find the roaming Easter Bunny passing out candy around Easton Station. Have lunch or dinner at one of these kid-friendly restaurants at Easton Town Center after you find the bunny!

7. Easter at Cabela’s

Get a free photo with the Easter Bunny at Cabela’s Polaris on Saturday and Sunday. Picture packages are available for purchase. Reserve your spot online.

8. Community Pancake Breakfast + Egg Hunt at Fellowship Baptist Church

This community pancake breakfast will be served from 9:00 AM – 10:45 on Saturday and the egg hunt begins at 11:00 AM. This is a free event but you can reserve your spot online.

9. Dinosaur Drive-Thru at Athens County Fairgrounds

If you’re looking for a day trip from Columbus this weekend, check out Jurassic Wonder at Athens County Fairgrounds where you can drive through dinosaurs that move and make sounds! Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and tickets can be purchased online.

10. Ohio Village Special Members-Only Opening Day

Celebrate Opening Day at Ohio Village! Saturday’s event is for Ohio History Connection members only and will have an April Fool’s day theme! There will be music, special performances, and of course tricks and pranks! Hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday. Non-members can visit on Sunday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM!

11. Egg Hunt at Living Word Lutheran Church

This egg hunt is for kids 5th grade and under and it begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday. There is a walk through Holy Week for the whole family afterwards.

12. Easter Eggs-perience at Heritage Park

This event on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in Groveport includes a large Easter Egg Hunt, visits with the Easter Bunny, outdoor activities, a free goodie bag and more! Bring your camera! This is a free event and no registration is required.

13. Jefferson Township Egg Hunt at Jefferson Community Park

This free Egg Hunt begins at 10:30 AM on Saturday and the hunt is divided up by age. Bring your own basket! There will also be photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts, snacks, prizes and more!

14. MEGGAHUNT at X Church

This free event takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and includes egg hunts, food trucks, the Easter Bunny and other activities!

15. Easter Egg Hunt Next Door at The Church Next Door

This Easter Egg hunt begins at 12:00 PM sharp on Saturday. This free event also includes snacks, live music, kids crafts, a photo booth and a reading of the Easter story.

16. Meet the Easter Bunny! at Hilltop YMCA

Meet the Easter Bunny and take family photos at the Hilltop YMCA on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A picture is included with a donation.

17. 7th Annual Near East Neighbors Egg Hunt at Eldon and Elsie Ward Family YMCA

This Egg Hunt starts promptly at 1:00 PM on Saturday. There will be 3 egg hunts for various ages. There will be golden egg prizes and lots of eggs!

18. Monster Jam at The Schottenstein Center

Monster Jam is taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Schottenstein Center! Truck line up includes Grave Digger® driven by Weston Anderson; Scooby-Doo® driven by Linsey Read; El Toro Loco® driven by Armando Castro; Jurassic Attack driven by Dalton Widner; Megalodon® driven by Bernard Lyght; Earth Shaker® driven by Hunter Souza; Zombie driven by Chad Tingler; and Stone Crusher driven by Frank Krmel. (Truck and driver line-up subject to change.) Tickets available online.

19. Dispatch Family Value Pack: CBJ vs Florida Panthers at Nationwide Arena

This family night out with the Columbus Blue Jackets includes a game ticket, Chiller skate pass and value meal. There will also be a poster making station, photo stations, Bubble Hockey and more. Price starts at $30/person. The match starts at 7:00 PM on Saturday.

20. Community Day and Cherry Blossom Festival At Franklin Park Conservatory

Sunday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, visit Franklin Park Conservatory for Community Day. Admission is free for Columbus and Franklin county residents and includes admission into the Franklin Park Conservatory Children’s Garden. Proper identification is required. This Sunday’s special events include a celebration of Japanese culture and cherry blossoms! There will be crafts, a calligraphy activity, a kimono photo booth, Taiko performances and more! 21. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Skate Zone 71

This Sunday from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM enjoy a breakfast buffet, Easter Bunny visit with photo, crafts, games and an Easter Egg Hunt! Reservations are required.

22. Natural Egg Dying at Blendon Woods Metro Park

On Sunday at 2:00 PM at Blendon Woods Metro Park you can use natural products to dye a hard boiled egg. One egg per person will be provided. You can also bring your own egg(s).

23. Humming Birds and Orioles at Blacklick Woods Metro Park

Learn about the migration of these birds and how you can feed them! This event takes place on Sunday at 3:00 PM at the Blacklick Woods Nature Center.

25. Salute Those Who Served: Thank a Veteran with a Hand-written Note with Seeds of Caring

Honor Ohio’s service men and women with this Seeds of Caring Anywhere Project that can be done at home, school, or wherever you are! Kind kids ages 2-12 are invited to create as many messages as they’d like through May 22, when they’ll be distributed by our partners from the National Veterans Memorial & Museum.
