1. Farm Days At COSI

Farm Days are back at COSI this weekend! Climb aboard farm equipment, meet some fuzzy hatching chicks and learn about where our food comes from. This event is included with admission/membership. See link for details for times and admission.

2. Coshocton Sunflower Festival At Coshocton KOA Holiday

This Weekend, Friday August 12th through Sunday August 14th, visit Coshocton KOA Holiday for the Coshocton Sunflower Festival. Enjoy a wagon ride out to the sunflower fields where you will experience the majestic beauty of over 40 sunflower varieties! This event also features food trucks, cash bar, live music and craft vendors. Ticket includes a wagon ride to the field and one sunflower of your choice. See link for tickets, times and details.

3. Seton Parish Festival 

This weekend, Friday August 12th through Sunday August 14th, visit the Seton Parish Festival! All kinds of fun, games, entertainment, amazing food and more! Admission is free! 

4. Parish Festival! At St. Brendan

This weekend, Friday August 12th and Saturday August 13th, visit St. Brendan for The Parish Festival! It’s back with all of your favorite rides, concessions, games and entertainment. See link for details on times.

5. All Ohio Balloon Festival At The Union County Airport

This Weekend, Friday August 12th and Saturday August 13th, visit the Union County Airport for the All Ohio Balloon Festival! See amazing hot air balloons from all over the world! This event features Kidz City for kids ages 10 and under that will feature balloon artists, bounce houses and obstacle courses. See link for tickets, times and pricing of this event.

6. St. Cecilia Parish Festival

This Friday August 12th and Saturday August 13th visit the St. Cecilia Parish Festival! Fun rides, games, raffles, entertainment, food and more! See link for details on times and daily events.

7. Festival Latino 2022 At Genoa Park

This weekend, Saturday August 13th and Sunday August 14th, visit Genoa Park for Festival Latino 2022.This free family friendly event features kids activities, latino food, music and dancing! Celebrate the heart of Latin America with this great event! See link for times and details.

8. August Franklinton Friday At 400 Square

Friday August 12th starting at 6pm visit 400 Square and Chromedge Studios for Franklinton Friday! This free event features local artists, friendship flea, food, drinks and more!

9. ProMusica SummerFEST Concert At Franklin Park Conservatory

Friday, August 12th starting at 6pm visit Franklin Park Conservatory for an unforgettable evening of live music by a live orchestra with the beautiful backdrop of the John F. Wolfe Palm House. An hour prior to the performance kids can visit behind the stage for children’s activities.

10. Columbus Blue Jackets Get Out And Learn At Evans Senior Center

Friday, August 12th at 6pm children ages 5-9 are invited to get out and learn hockey at the Evans Senior Center in Grove City! This street hockey event will introduce the sport in a fun and safe environment. This event is intended for first time hockey players and registration is required. See link for details.

11. Ride The Tram! Evening Run At Blendon Woods

This Friday, August 12th at 6pm visit Blendon Woods Metro Park for an evening ride on the tram. All rides meet at the nature center tram stop.

12. New Albany Summer Movie Series At The Preserve

Friday, August 12th at 6:30pm visit The Preserve for New Albany Summer Movie Series. The movie being featured is Jungle Cruise. Festivities start at 6:30pm and the movie starts at sunset.

13. Rhythm On The River At Bicentennial Park

Friday, August 12th at 6:30pm visit Bicentennial Park for Rhythm On The River featuring Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Enjoy the sweet sounds and grab a bite for dinner from one of the food trucks that will be available. 

14. Movie Under The Stars At Greenlawn Abbey

Friday, August 12th starting at 7:30pm visit Greenlawn Abbey for Movie Under The Stars. The movie being featured this week is Edward Scissorhands. Pack your blankets and chairs! See link for tickets and pricing.

15. Movies In The Park At Thompson Park

Friday, August 12th at 7:30pm visit Thompson Park for a screening of The Greatest Showman. Be sure to pack your chairs, blankets and snacks for this great family friendly movie.

16. Movie In The Park At Roger Hanners Park

Friday, August 12th at 8pm head out to Roger Hanners Park for a screening of Encanto. Watch from your vehicle or the lawn. Snacks and activities will be available leading up to the movie.

17. Friday Night Flicks At Sycamore Creek Amphitheater

Friday, August 12th at dusk visit Sycamore Creek Amphitheater for a free showing of Sing 2. Pack your blankets, chairs and snacks to see this great film on the side of the white barn.

18. Touch A Truck! At Olentangy Berlin High School

Saturday, August 13th starting at 9am visit Olentangy Berlin High School for Touch A Truck! Vehicles big and small will be featured at this great event. There is also a canned food and box fan drive happening at the event if you would like to contribute.

19. Reptile Show At Franklin County Fairgrounds

Saturday, August 13th starting at 9am visit the Franklin County Fairgrounds to meet all of your favorite reptile friends and some other creatures. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children ages 10 and under. 

20. 2022 Family Wellness Expo At The T.W. Davis Gym

Saturday, August 13th starting at 10am visit the T.W. Davis Gym on The Ohio State University Campus for 2022 Family Wellness Expo. This free event is full of activities promoting health and wellness. Bounce house, carnival games and even a visit from Brutus Buckeye! This event is for children ages 3-12 and their grown ups. Registration is required.

21. Renaissance Festival At Columbus Museum Of Art

Saturday, August 13th starting at 10am visit Columbus Museum Of Art for a day filled with fantasy and history. Preview vendors and performers from the Ohio Renaissance Festival and enjoy art from Raphael:The Power Of Renaissance Images. Come in costume and receive  buy one, get one admission!

22. Hilltop Hop at Broad & Westmoor

Shop the businesses at Broad & Westmoor for the monthly Hilltop Hop on Saturday from 10am-1pm! Desserts from Slice of Heaven Bakery will be available to purchase including cake by the slice for the first time ever!

Saturday, August 13th at 10:30am visit the Tremont Library for Stories And More! This event features stories, fun characters and activities for all!

24. Saturday Morning Cartoons At Bexley Public Library

Saturday, August 13th at 10:30am bring the whole family out to Bexley Public Library for cartoons new and old! Light snacks will be provided.

25. Bringing Generations Together Through MUSIC with Seeds of Caring

Families and friends, join us for this Saturday’s In Person Tunes & Togetherness with the residents of National Church Residences Stygler Commons and the dazzling talent of musician and songwriter Joanie Calem! There will be singing, dancing, laughter and craft time. These events are so special, bringing multiple generations together to share a joyful morning. The fun starts at 10:30am so sign up today!

26. Zombie Survival Training At Northwest Worthington Library

Saturday, August 13th at 11am visit the Northwest Worthington Library for a fun morning of learning survival skills such as building a fire and shelter making. This event is for ages 9-13.

27. PBJ & Jazz At Topiary Park

Saturday, August 13th at Noon visit the Topiary Park in downtown Columbus for PBJ & Jazz. This week the artist being featured is the Jeanette Williams Tribute Band. Be sure to stop into the Columbus Metropolitan Library an hour before to enjoy a story and crafts!

28. Corn And Peach Roast At HTH Farm Market

Saturday, August 13th starting at noon visit the HTH Farm Market for the Corn And Peach Roast! This event will feature lots of samples, local vendors and roasted corn and peaches.

29. Author Visit At Cover To Cover Bookstore With Debbie Rigaud

Saturday, August 13th at 1pm visit Cover To Cover Bookstore to meet author Debbie Rigaud who will be talking about her latest book A Girl’s Guide To Love And Magic!

30. South Central Hilltop Day Out At Burroughs Park

Saturday, August 13th at 1pm visit Burroughs Park for an afternoon of bounce houses, visits from COSI & Columbus Zoo, prizes and pizza! 

31. Superhero Party At Tremont Library

Saturday, August 13th at 2pm visit the Tremont Library for an afternoon of being a superhero! Come dressed as your favorite superhero, then complete challenges, scavenger hunts and trivia!

32. Mini Cake Decorating Class At Kitschen Bakery

36. Sunday Funday: A Tribute To Fair Food In Downtown Old Worthington

Sunday, August 14th at Noon visit Downtown Old Worthington for an afternoon of carnival games, live music and food specials at local restaurants. This is a great event to enjoy with the kids before they head back to school.

37. Ecosystem Engineer! At Blendon Woods

Sunday, August 14th at 2pm visit Blendon Woods Nature Center to learn all about what makes an ecosystem run. Bring a clean clear glass or plastic jar to make your very own mini ecosystem to take home.
