What Should We Do This Weekend? Columbus, Ohio, August 21-23, 2020

Need something to do with the kids this Weekend? Try out one of these 10 Columbus and Ohiobased events and activities!

Check out this list of events for the upcoming weekend and if you need even more ideas make sure to check out:

1. School’s Out Open House at Glass Axis

Reserve your spot in advance for kids 18 and under to make a glass art project for any age! Friday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. 

2. Outdoor Family Movie Night: Moana at Hilliard Church of Christ

Watch Moana on the lawn at 8:30 PM on Friday! Snacks and drinks provided! 

3. Babe – A little pig goes a long way! Drive-In Movie Night

Head over to the Winchester Trail Elementary School in Canal Winchester for Babe! Movie starts at 8:30 on Friday night and Fantasy Cupcake will be on site selling goodies! 

4. Gahanna Summer Drive-In Series

Head to Headley Park on Friday nights for drive-in concerts and movies! This Friday night there will be a screening of “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.” Register in advance if you want to attend!

5. Garage Rummage Sale at Creative Art Bar Hilliard

Creative Art Bar of Hilliard is temporarily closing their art studio and selling a lot of art supplies, yarn, beads, craft items and more! Sale is from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday. 

6. Fairytale Skate Party at Skate Zone 71

On Saturday from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM enjoy a fairytale pizza skate! Admission includes a slice of cheese pizza and a small drink. There will also be a costume contest!

7. Superhero Skate at United Skates of America

From 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM you can skate in your favorite Superhero gear for a $2 admission.

8. From Book to Film Outdoor Movie: Hook

Register in advance for this outdoor movie in the parking lot at the Future Home of Bridgeway Academy on Saturday night. The movie begins shortly after sundown. Bring a chair or blanket!

9. Food Truck Rally at Worthington Moose 1427

Visit the Lodge on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM to get your meal from one of 12 local food trucks!

10. Visit the Paul Busse Garden Railway at Franklin Park Conservatory 

Visit this outdoor railroad on display in the Grand Mallway through January 2021! The display is made from items found in nature, miniature garden, waterfalls and magical scenes! You must purchase your ticket in advance to visit the Conservatory!
