10:00 AM – Forest Fridays at Sunbury Urban Farm – kids ages 2-5 can enjoy a 30 minute nature activity and free play time in the woods! $5 suggested donation.

10:00 AM – Think Outside the Brick at Columbus Museum of Art – check out an amazing display of LEGOS featuring downtown Columbus, build with LEGOS and put your work on display and participate in a LEGO scavenger hunt. 

10:00 AM – Pete The Cat with Columbus Children’s Theatre – rock and roll with Pete the Cat at his family! This musical performance takes place at Park Street Theatre and is recommended for ages Pre-K and up.

10:30 AM – Our Village: Valentine’s Day Popsicle Stick Craft with FIT4MOM Upper Arlington – join FIT4MOM UA for a free playdate where kids will be making Valentine’s Day picture frames. An optional Stroller Strides workout begins at 9:30 before the play date.

11:24 AM – Imagination Station at Bexley Public Library – kids can use their imagination at LEGO and art supply stations at the library!

5:00 PM – Cold Hands, Warm Heart First Friday at Little Buckeye Children’s Museum – enjoy free admission to the museum during First Friday when you bring a donation of a hat or pair of gloves/mittens per person.

5:00 PM – First Friday Film Series at Ohio History Center – the museum stays open late for a special evening including a showing of the movie, Mighty Ducks at 7:00 PM. 

6:00 PM – Hot Chocolate and S’mores at Highbanks Metro Park – roast s’mores and enjoy hot chocolate at a campfire!

6:00 PM – Family Game Night at Prairie Township Community Center – families can come together to play board games and active games!

6:30 PM – Family Swim at Goldfish Swim Schools – families can enjoy the 90 degree water at all three Goldfish Swim School locations from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM every Friday. $5/person for non members or $15/family.

7:00 PM – Unlimited Pizza Fridays! at Skate Zone 71 – $10 per person includes admission, skate rental and unlimited cheese pizza! 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM is Family Skate.

You’re invited to join Fourteen Twenty Nine and What Should We Do Today? for a special event at The Design Refinery during the Hilltop Art Hop. Join us any time between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at The Design Refinery at 11 N. Westmoor Ave., Columbus, OH 43204.
 
This event is about more than just brownies. While there will be a variety of brownies and blondies, the real cause is helping our community. A portion of the proceeds will go to She Has a Name, an organization in Columbus that works directly with survivors of human trafficking. There will be desserts, drinks, and community and you don’t want to miss it!

7:00 AM – National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day 2019 at Cookie Dough Creamery – Cookie Dough Creamery will be adding waffle bites and maple syrup toppings to their line up for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. Roaming Goat Coffee will be available and guests are encouraged to wear their pajamas and post pictures for a chance to win gift cards!

8:00 AM – National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day at Bake Me Happy – until 12:00 PM Bake Me Happy will be serving Lopaus Point waffles with ice cream and a full sundae bar! All items are gluten free. Waffles are dairy free and dairy free ice cream will also be available.

9:00 AM – Ice Cream for Breakfast Day at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will be opening early for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day! 100% of all profits between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM will be donated to She Should Run!

9:00 AM – New Albany Indoor Farmers Market at Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany – shop for produce and local goods, enjoy live music and more!

10:00 AM – Storytime at Grange Insurance Audubon Center – enjoy a nature based story time for preschoolers!

10:30 AM – Workshop! Victorian valentine cards & Tea Party at The Carpenter’s Daughter – enjoy a tea party and the supplies to make your own Valentine’s Day Cards! $20/person. 

11:00 AM – Ohio Wildlife Center Presents Animal Adapations at Franklin Park Conservatory – Ohio Wildlife Center will be on site with ambassador animals!

11:00 AM – Sensory Storytime at Pickerington Public Library – this story time is designed for children with special needs and stimulates all 5 senses in a fun and educational way! Registration required.

11:00 AM – Kids Valentine’s Plate at Clay Street Ceramics – kids can create a Valentine’s Plate by painting with bubbles! Cost is $20 plus tax and kids 8 and up can be dropped off and picked up later! Register in advance!

This month will include a Ballet Met 2 Performance!

2:00 PM – Scioto Grove: Winter Hike at Scioto Grove Metro Park – take a 1 or 2 mile hike! There will be food and  hot drinks afterwards! Bring a $5 donation or 4 non perishable food items to donate to Mid-Ohio Foodbank to receive a Metro Parks mug!

2:00 PM – Nature School: Reptiles & Amphibians at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – learn about the history and identification of Ohio’s reptiles and amphibians.
