1. Kids Dream Winter Film Series At Marcus Theatres

Starting January 13th through April 2nd visit Marcus Theatres for Kids Dream Winter Film Series. This event features a line up of family films and an opportunity for free tickets when you redeem vouchers through American Family Insurance. See link for tickets, times and pricing.

2. Riverside Crossing Park And Coffman Park Seasonal Ice Rink

3. Team-building Through Kindness: Your Group Can Do Good with CBJ & Seeds of Caring

Calling all teams, youth groups, scouts, and classes: Team up with Seeds of Caring and the Columbus Blue Jackets for a fun group service project you can do anywhere! Kids 6-12 will TEAM UP to CHEER UP kids supported by Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Behavioral Health Pavilion by packing Wellness Kits with card games, activity books, and a hand-written note to show you care, now through Feb. 26!

Want to play in a rock band? If you have no experience or want to learn how to rock on stage and in life, come along to our FREE OPEN HOUSE on February 4th from 3-5pm. We’d love to show you around and get you playing in a band within an hour on your preferred instrument!

4. Friday Fun At Old Worthington Library

Friday February 3rd at 10am visit Old Worthington library for stories, rhymes, music and movement at Friday Fun! This event is recommended for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

5. Explore More At Worthington Park Library 

Friday February 3rd at 10:30am visit Worthington Park library for a play based hour of engagement featuring songs, rhymes and stories. This event is intended for children entering kindergarten.

6. Open Mic Night With Black Women Poetry Collective At Columbus Metropolitan Library

Friday February 3rd at 3pm visit the Martin Luther King branch for Open Mic Night With Black Women Poetry Collective. Listen to poetry and stories written during the workshop or something created by you! This event is recommended for ages 12-17 years old.

7. STEAM Club: Online Oddities At Columbus Metropolitan Library

Friday February 3rd at 4:30pm visit the Whetstone branch for STEAM Club. This event answers all of your questions from how the internet works to what a Bitcoin is. This event is intended for all school aged children. 

8. Family Night At Worthington Community Center

Friday February 3rd at 6:30pm visit the Worthington Community Center for an evening of family fun! This event will feature Valentine themed crafts, activities, games and open gym! Registration ahead of time is encouraged, see link for details. 

9. National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

February 4th is National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day and Jeni’s locations will be opening at 9:00 AM to celebrate! The first 50 rewards members in line will receive an exclusive mug! 10. Wild Ohio Weekend At Ohio History Center

11. Kids Workshop At The Home Depot

Saturday February 4th starting at 9am visit The Home Depot for Kids Workshop! This Saturday the project being featured is a Valentine’s Vase. See link for registration.

12. You Gotta Meet Mr. Pierce Book Celebration At Tremont Road Library

Saturday February 4th at 10am with Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers visit Tremont Road library to celebrate the latest book You Gotta Meet Mr. Pierce!: The Storied Life of Folk Artist Elijah Pierce. See link for registration.

13. Stories And More At Tremont Road Library

Saturday February 4th at 10:30am visit Tremont Road Library for Stories and More! This event features a storytime, special guests and activities for the whole family.

14. Columbus Winter Carnival At Franklin County Fairgrounds

Saturday February 4th at Franklin County Fairgrounds visit the Columbus Winter Carnival. This fun packed event features four stages with performers, games, prizes, bounce park and more! See link for tickets, times and pricing.

15. Uptown Westerville Cocoa Trail In Uptown Westerville 

Saturday February 4th at Noon visit merchants in Uptown Westerville for the Uptown Westerville Cocoa Trail. Stroll the shops of local merchants for hot cocoa and sweet treats.

16. Open House at School of Rock

Take a tour of The School of Rock in Dublin! Learn a song and perform in a band within just an hour! Lessons and programs begin for kids as young as 5! The open house takes place on Saturday, February 4 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

17. Movie Night At The Museum: Where The Wild Things Are At Columbus Museum Of Art

Saturday February 4th at 6pm visit The Columbus Museum Of Art for a screening of Where the Wild Things Are during movie night at the museum. In addition to the movie there will be crafts, activities and trivia. Pajamas are welcome! See link for tickets and pricing.

18. Community Day At Franklin Park Conservatory

Sunday February 5th visit Franklin Park Conservatory for Community Day. Admission is free for Columbus and Franklin county residents. Proper identification is required. See link for admission details.

19. Hike All The Trails At Blendon Woods Metro Park 

Sunday February 5th at 2pm visit Blendon Woods Metro Park to hike all of the trails! This is a 5.5-mile hike throughout the park with both gravel and natural surfaces.
