This Saturday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM I’m partnering with Fourteen Twenty Nine to offer you the opportunity to purchase some amazing brownies for a great cause!

Fourteen Twenty Nine is a social enterprise whose mission is to provide immediate needs to women who have been trafficked in Columbus, Ohio. Specializing in brownies, blondies, and cookies, owner Amanda bakes from her home and donates a portion of proceeds to  organizations in our community such as Reaching For The Shining Starz. Come out on February 1st during the Hilltop Art Hop to eat delicious brownies and write a special note to the women in need and encourage them for Valentine’s Day!

8:00 AM – Ice Cream for Breakfast Day at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – celebrate National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day with Jeni’s new Skillet cinnamon Roll Ice Cream! Coffee Floats will also be available in a souvenir Jeni’s mug (while supplies last)! All locations are participating.

9:00 AM – Roller Skating Lessons at Skate Zone 71 – walk-in for skating lessons for all skill levels! Fisher Price skates are available for kids. Adults are welcome too!

11:00 AM – Graphic Novel Nerd Herd: Hilda at Westland Area Library – kids in grades 4-8 can explore the Hilda graphic novel series and design their own stories!

11:00 AM – Saturday Stories and Songs at Sycamore Plaza Library – drop in for an early literacy class for young children!

11:00 AM – Sensory Stories and Play at Pickerington Public Library – this sensory friendly story and play time will include songs, movement and a quieter environment. Registration is required.

12:00 PM – 2020 Chilly Open at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – this event raises money for children’s charities in Central Ohio and features food from 30 restaurants, a silent auction, live music and an activity tent for children featuring live animal visits, face painting, games, crafts, snacks and more! Tickets available online.

12:00 PM – 1st Birthday Party at Get Air Pickerington – celebrate the first anniversary of Get Air with a balloon artist, Mickey Mouse, face painting, prizes and more!

12:00 PM – Uptown Valentine Cocoa Trail in Uptown Westerville – shop in Uptown Westerville and the local businesses will offer Hot Chocolate treats! Bring a can of soup to donate to WARM.

2:00 PM – Steam-y Saturday at Sycamore Plaza Library – all ages can enjoy STEAM-themed activities. Adults may assist! Register online.

There will also be the opportunity to write a special note to the women in need and encourage them for Valentine’s Day!

12:00 PM – KidsLinked.com’s Baby & Kids Galleria Event at Polaris Fashion Place – shop and learn about all things babies and kids! This event features over 70 vendors, activities and entertainment focused on families who are expecting or have young children. Swag bags for the first 100 families!
