1. Seeds of Caring Needs Your Help THIS WEEKEND!

Calling all generous families and industrious groups: we need to assemble 100+ sack lunches for hungry and unhoused neighbors at St. Stephen’s Community House BY THIS SUNDAY (1/9)! We find ourselves a little short on helping hands during this extra challenging time for our city, so we are asking for some extra support to help meet our goal for this weekend. Thank you so much, Columbus! We are stronger together.

2. Marvel Universe of Super Heroes at COSI

Visit this exclusive Marvel Super Hero exhibit that will be on display through May. Weekly, COSI is open Thursday through Sunday.

3. Huntington Holiday Train at Main Library

Visit this incredible model train set up in the main lobby of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Main Library downtown. It will be on display through January 8, 2022.

4. Conservatory Aglow at Franklin Park Conservatory

Conservatory Aglow offers special holiday decorations, performances and evening hours at Franklin Park Conservatory through January 9th. Special engagement rates apply.

5. WonderLight’s Christmas at Hartford Fairgrounds

This holiday lights drive through features over 1 million LED lights synchronized to Christmas music. The show runs November 12, 2021 – January 9, 2022 and is open every night of the week beginning at 5:30 PM. Reservations recommended.

 6. Riverside Crossing Park Ice Rink Opens in Dublin

A brand-new, temporary ice rink is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Riverside Crossing Park in Dublin. Admission is $10 per person and includes skate rental.

7. Mohican WinterFest in Downtown Loudonville

For a little road trip, visit downtown Loudonville for WinterFest which takes place on Saturday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and features ice sculptures throughout the town. Weather permitting, the sculptures will go up on Friday night and remain through the weekend.

8. Bison in Winter

Take a 2 mile hike to see the bison in the winter pasture at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. Meet at the Ranger Station on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

9. New Year’s Family Celebration at Ohio Theatre – Cancelled

Enjoy a family-friendly concert on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Ohio Theatre featuring the Columbus Symphony and celebrating the New Year! There will be familiar music and pre-concert activities beginning at 2:00 PM including crafts, temporary tattoos and more!

10. Savoring Sunsets Series at Blues Creek Park

This is an intentional hike to take in the beauty of the sunset. This event is for ages 7 and up and includes walking meditation practices on Sunday at 4:30 PM.
