1. Visit a Farmers Market

Farmers Markets are popping up all over Columbus! Check out the link for a list of Farmers Markets for every day of the week!

2. Friday Fun Days at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum

Friday mornings from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM in July families can visit the National Veterans Memorial and Museum for $5/person and participate in family fun enrichment activities, take a private tour, speak with a Veteran and more! 

3. Too Good Eats Cafe at The Hills Market Downtown

Visit the Too Good Eats Cafe popping up at The Hills Market Downtown on Fridays from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM for a popsicle bar and artisan drinks!

4. KidX Summer Series 2021 at Polaris Fashion Place

Fridays from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM head to Polaris Fashion Place for KidX Summer Series! This Friday the theme is Animals! come dressed in costume, do an animal craft and more!

5. Bison at Battelle Darby Creek Nature Center

Take a one mile hike to see and learn about the bison in Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park!

6. Friday Afternoon GLOW Skates at Skate Zone 71

Fridays from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM glow while you roll!

7. Heart of Grove City Food Truck Festival and Shop Hop in Grove City Town Center

On Friday night from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM shop local vendors, enjoy food trucks and explore the heart of Grove City!

8. Franklinton Friday at 400 Square

Tour open studios and new gallery exhibitions during Franklinton Fridays from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. There will also be food trucks and local dining options!

9. Polaris Night Market at Polaris Fashion Place

Shop an outdoor, open-air market at Polaris Fashion Place on Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM including vendors, food trucks, art, a pop-up beer garden and fun activities!

10. Friday Night Flicks at Sycamore Park Amphitheater

Bring a blanket or chairs to watch Honey I Shrunk the Kids in Sycamore Park! Movie starts at dusk on Friday night. This is a free event.

11. Movies in the Moonlight at John Bishop Park A.K.A. Orton Davis

Watch a free movie in the park at 8:30 PM! Friday’s movie will be Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. Free food will be provided!

12. Market Opens w/ Peaches! at Branstool Orchards

The market at Branstool Orchards opens for the season on Saturday at 9:00 AM and peaches will be available. (Pick your own is not yet open.) Tabouli Food Truck will be on site.

13. Beekeeping – Presented by Bring the Farm to You at Pickerington Public Library

Learn about the life cycle of the honey bee, view the inner parts of a hive and more on Saturday at 10:00 AM! Registration is required.

14. Prairie Walk at Indian Ridge – Turkey Foot Trail

Meet with a Naturalist to learn about flowers and grasses in a restored prairie on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

15. PBJ & Jazz in Topiary Park

Enjoy a free, kid-friendly jazz concert in Topiary Park! The concert begins on Saturday at 12:00 PM, is 1 hour long and designed to introduce kids to jazz music! There will be a take home art activity based on the work of Aminah Robinson.

16. Snake Search at Highbanks Metro Park

Search for snakes in special hiding places in the park on Saturday at 4:00 PM! Best for ages 8 and up. Meet at nature center.

17. Summer Concert Series: The McCartney Project at Sycamore Park Amphitheater

Enjoy a free concert in the park on Sunday night at 7:00 PM!
