1. 2022 Columbus Pet Expo At The Ohio Expo Center

The Columbus Pet Expo is back at the Ohio Expo Center this weekend! March 11th-13th visit the pet expo to see all kinds of fun pet and animal related exhibits! Tickets and times are available online.

2. Show HeART for Hospice Patients with Seeds of Caring

We are partnering once again with OhioHealth Hospice for another meaningful service project, in which children will explore grief through an age-appropriate discussion created with OhioHealth, culminating in an art project that will be placed by the bedside of hospice patients. This project is on-going until March 31 so kids have the entire month to create as many bedside masterpieces as they like! Sign up today!

3. The Works Around Town: Physical Therapy With Anna Busic

Visit The Works at 9:30am for a special guest visit from physical therapist Anna Busic. In this event at The Works, Around Town takes your little one to learn and experience different occupations and careers. Event is included with admission and is recommended for ages 2-6.

4. New Albany Kidsfest

On Friday March 11th at 5:30 the New Albany Kidsfest will kick off for some family fun! There will be balloon artists, games, prizes, an egg hunt and even a visit from the Easter bunny! Pre Registration and tickets are available online.

5. Riverside Celebration At Riverside Crossing Park 

On Friday March 11th starting at 6pm visit Dublin for the official dedication of The Dublin Link Bridge and the grand opening of Riverside Crossing Park! There will be live music, ice skating performances and a small firework display on the bridge. 

6. Franklinton Friday At 400 Square

Visit Franklinton this Friday March 11th, starting at 6pm there will be Franklinton Friday At 400 Square! There will be art exhibits on display, food trucks and Friendship Flea will be back this month with a mini flea on display.

7. Shamrock Fields: Family Canvas Painting At Busy Bees 

Make a piece of artwork as a family in honor of St. Patrick’s Day! This Friday March 11th at 6pm gather round the canvas as a family at Busy Bees Pottery and Art’s Studio to create a one of a kind shamrock field painting. Tickets and pricing available in the link. 8. Hansel And Gretel: A Show For Children And Families

Saturday March 12th and Sunday March 13th see a modern retelling of a classic fairytale Hansel and Gretel. This event is held at The Black Box Theater. This is a fun interactive show that includes crafts, snacks and the opportunity to dance with performers. Tickets, times and pricing available in the link.

9. Daniel Tiger’s Be My Neighbor Day Virtual Event

Saturday March 12th at 10am Zoom with Daniel Tiger! This free virtual event has fun filled activities for the whole family and will include a reading of Kindness Rocks by. Sonica Ellis. Advanced registration is required for this event.

10. Lookin’ For Leprechauns At Sharon Woods

On Saturday March 12th between 10am-4pm visit Sharon Woods Metro Park and find one of 100 hidden leprechauns that have been hidden throughout the park and return it to the Naturalist Office for a prize!

11. Free Kids & Family Kung Fu Workshop

Visit Western Lotus Athletics for a free kids and family kung fu workshop! Fitness, martial arts and fun for the whole family. This event is held on Saturday March 12th from 10am-Noon. Registration is available online.

12. Shamrockin’ Toddler Time Plate Painting

Create a shamrock themed plate and even customize it with the name of your little one at Busy Bees Pottery on Saturday March 12th at 10:30am. See the link for price and registration. This event is recommended for ages 18 months-6 years.

13. St. Patrick’s Day Parade In Historic Dublin– CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

Saturday March 12th at 11am the St. Patrick’s Day parade kicks off in Dublin! This elaborate parade features 100 participants! Everything from floats, historic cars, music, horses and more will be participating in this annual family friendly parade.

14. Chihuly Nights At Franklin Park Conservatory

This special engagement at Franklin Park Conservatory features the Chihuly Collection illuminated in a whole new light during Chihuly Nights from 7-10pm this Saturday March 12th. Tickets and advanced registration available online.

15. Wetland Walk At Battelle Darby Creek

Sunday, March 13th at 10am visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park and take a walk through the wetland! This is a 3-mile walk and will be muddy! Look and listen for all of the creatures that call the wetlands their home! Bring binnoculars and dress for the conditions.

16. For Families: Vernal Pool Exploration At Sharon Woods

Visit Sharon Woods Metro Park on Sunday March 13th at 1pm to learn about vernal pools. Explore this habitat and all of the animals that occupy it as their nursery and home. This is a messy event, so come prepared with the right attire! Meet at the Spring Hollow Lodge.
