FRIDAY

9:00 AM – Touch a Truck 2019 at Worthington Community Center – get up close to over 40 vehicles! There will also be car seat checks, a limited quantity of free bike helmets and a food drive! Food and beverages will be available for purchase!

9:00 AM – May’s Summer Special at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – receive half of admission every Friday in May when your kid wears his or her favorite jammies!

10:00 AM – Touch-a-Truck at Hilliard’s Station Park – get up close to your favorite vehicles! There will be crafts and inflatables on site as well!

10:00 AM – Friends of the Upper Arlington Library Book Sale – thousands of books, videos and other items are on sale through May 19th in the atrium of the UA Main Library!

10:00 AM – Zoo Babies presented by First Financial Bank at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden – like baby animals? Take a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo to search out six-foot-tall stork statues that will be leading visitors to all of the the baby animals that have been born at the zoo recently! Included in admission.

11:00 AM – Food Truck Friday at Easton Town Center – this weekend is the annual Easton Food Fest and Friday is all about Food Trucks! There will be live music and food trucks available for lunch and dinner!

6:00 PM – GAME NIGHT (trivia) @ Kreation’s Play Kafé at Dublin Toy Emporium – this game night is for tweens! $15 per participant. This game night is trivia themed!

6:00 PM – Touch-A-Truck at Stradley Park – get up close to your favorite rescue vehicles! There will also be DJ and Photo booth and games!

6:30 PM – Family Night Out at Goldfish Swim School – – members and non-members are welcome for an open swim at all local Goldfish Swim School locations! $5/person or $15/family. First come, first served.

7:00 PM – Peter Pan with Columbus Children’s Theatre at Southern Theatre – watch the story of Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Darling children! This is a 2 act musical with an intermission. All ages welcome. Tickets available online. 5 performances this weekend.

7:30 PM – Evening Bike Ride at Glacier Ridge Metro Park – take an 8.5 mile bike ride through grasslands and forests looking for wildlife. Ages 8 and up.

9:00 PM – Sunset Cinemas at The Daily Growler: Jumanji at The Daily Growler – Polaris – watch a free screening of Jumanji outside on the patio! Bring lawn chairs and blankets!

SATURDAY

8:00 AM – Fairfield County Airport’s 50th Anniversary Celebration – – this celebratory event will include free plane rides for kids ages 8-17 yrs old, a historic B-52 bomber, vintage airplanes and search and air-rescue vehicles on display! There will be other classic cars and emergency vehicles to check out as well as a replica of the Korean War Memorial! Plus food trucks and more!

9:30 AM – Family Stroller Strides at Fancyburg Park – the whole family is invited to a workout with FIT4MOM UA at Fancyburg Park! Register online.

10:00 AM – Friends of the Upper Arlington Library Book Sale – thousands of books, videos and other items are on sale through May 19th in the atrium of the UA Main Library!

10:00 AM – Parent-Child Playdate Workshop at Haven Collective – celebrate the launching of The Meet Cute Co. with an interactive event that involves creating a vision board! All supplies will be provided along with refreshments! Get your ticket online!

10:00 AM – West Fest on OSU West Campus Quad – this is a free event featuring sustainability and outreach at OSU and beyond. There will be displays and hands on activities from participating departments at OSU. 

10:00 AM – Experience Public Works Day at City of Dublin Service Complex – this is “touch a truck” amplified with the opportunity to get up close to all kinds of city service vehicles, food trucks, bounce houses, nature education, outdoor games and more!

10:00 AM – Touch A Truck at The Purple Door Church (GCUMC) – get up close to all kinds of trucks, win a prize and get your own construction hat!

10:00 AM – Zoo Babies presented by First Financial Bank at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden – like baby animals? 11:00 AM – New Albany Founders Day Parade & Festival at New Albany Intermediate School – this festival includes carnival rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, food, vendors and a parade!

10:00 AM – Model Railroads at Sandal Legacy Trail House – watch model trains travel through a miniature village and meet Model Railroaders who can answer all your model train questions!

10:00 AM – Kids Club Mama & Baby Birds’ Nest at Michaels Stores – make a nest and baby birds. $3/project.

11:00 AM – Spring Fling at Sunny 95 Park – this celebration of spring includes live birds on display, a Touch a Truck, a Fishing Derby, arts and crafts, live music and lots more!

11:00 AM – Delaware Arts Festival in Delaware, Ohio – this arts festival takes place Saturday and Sunday and features live music and performances, a Kids Art Project, plus artists and vendors!

12:00 PM – Touch A Truck at Prairie Township Community Center – get up close to Township vehicles!

1:00 PM – National Public Gardens Week at Inniswood Metro Gardens – visit Inniswood Metro Park this weekend for a free gift for your garden!

1:00 PM – Peter Pan with Columbus Children’s Theatre at Southern Theatre – watch the story of Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Darling children! This is a 2 act musical with an intermission. All ages welcome. Tickets available online. 5 performances this weekend.

1:00 PM – MAKE break Baseball Slime at Michaels Stores – buy the jar and Michaels will provide the supplies to decorate it and fill it with slime!

2:00 PM – Spring Creekin’ at Blendon Woods Metropolitan Park – take an off trail, 1.5 mile hike through Blendon Ravines. Ages 6 and up.

3:00 PM – LEGO Club at Grove City Library – work in teams or individually to create a LEGO challenge!

8:00 PM – Howl at the Moon at Highbanks Metro Park – take a 3.5 mile hike with your dog! Kid friendly.

1:00 PM – Sweet Sunday at Easton Town Center – sample sweets as part of the Easton Food Fest! Samples are two for $1 with proceeds going to the Easton Community Foundation!

2:00 PM – Junior Chefs Weekend Workshop at Young Chefs Academy of Gahanna – learn cooking skills, kitchen safety, flavor profiles and more! $50/class. Ages 6 and up.

2:00 PM – Family Fun Day at Kingmakers – kids 12 and under play for free at this family fun day featuring board games from Ravensburger. There will be raffle prizes, swag and giveaways!

6:00 PM – Music in the Garden: Summer ’19 in Olde Towne East Community Gardens – this is a free concert featuring local bands and musicians! 

6:00 PM – Evening Garden Walk at Inniswood Metro Gardens – take a stroll through the gardens at Inniswood.
