1. For Families: Reptiles & Amphibians At Highbanks

Visit Highbanks Metro Park on Friday May 20th at 1pm for some up close and personal animal encounters. This event is for ages 3+ and is located in the Nature Center.

2. Fun Friday At Bexley Public Library

Friday May 20th at 5pm stop by the Bexley Public Library for some great food and entertainment at Fun Friday! The Robert Mason Trio will be performing live in the library parking lot and lots of food trucks will be available for dinner!

3. Gahanna Summer Bash

Friday May 20th at 5pm visit Shepherd Christian School for Gahanna Bash! Games, treats, bounce house and entertainment for all! Register to partake in the Gahanna 5k or adventure run.

4. Music In The Park & Touch-A-Truck At Stradley Place

Friday May 20th at 6pm visit Stradley Place in Canal Winchester for an evening of live music and Touch-A-Truck for the kids! There will be plenty of family friendly activities!

5. Market Day At The Westgate Farmers Market

Saturday May 21st at 9am is the opening day of the Westgate Farmers Market! Come out and enjoy all of the great local food and produce!

6. Ohio Village Opening Weekend

Saturday May 21st at 10am is opening weekend at Ohio Village! It’s carnival weekend at Ohio Village where you will see old fashioned side shows, enjoy the petting zoo, play classic games of skill and enjoy special music at select times. Tickets and pricing is available in the link.

7. Meet The Bees Hive Tour At Stratford Ecological Center

Saturday May 21st 10am wear your long sleeves, pants and high socks because it’s time to wear a bee veil and get ready to explore the hives at Stratford Ecological Center. All ages are welcome but children must attend with a registered adult. Tickets and registration available in the link.

8. Kid’s Take & Make Craft: Butterfly Craft At IKEA

Saturday May 21st At 10am visit IKEA Columbus for a fun butterfly craft kit! Must present IKEA Family Card. 

9. Giving Kids the Chance to Honor Veterans with Seeds of Caring

Join Seeds of Caring this Saturday at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum (in their breathtaking new facility) where families will grow in empathy and learn about Veterans and active service members. Kids will assemble appreciation bags to be given to Veterans on Memorial Day. Free admission to the museum is included and families are encouraged to explore after the event via a scavenger hunt! 10. New Albany Founders Day Parade And Festival

Saturday May 21st at 11am enjoy the parade, followed by rides, food and vendors at the New Albany Founders Day Parade and Festival.

11. Spring Fling At Sunny 95 Park

Saturday May 21st 11am visit Sunny 95 park for the annual Spring Fling! There will be touch-a-truck, fishing at the pond, inflatables, games and much more! All here to ring in spring!

12. Art On The Canal Art Stroll

Visit Historic Downtown Canal Winchester on Saturday May 21st at noon for Art On The Canal Art Stroll. There will be live music, dancing,performances and art from local artists. See what this fun city has to offer!

13. Meet The Pollinators At Stratford Ecological Center

14. Ohio Wildlife Center At Franklin Park Conservatory

Sunday May 22nd at 11am visit the Children’s Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory for learning and interacting with animal friends as the Ohio Wildlife Center visits the Learning Pavillion. No registration and event is included with admission.

15. Ohio Ice Cream: A Scoop of History at Little Ladies Soft Serve

On Sunday from 1pm – 3pm meet author Renee Casteel Cook and get a copy of her book, Ohio Ice Cream: A Scoop of History. Ireland’s Bowtique will be there, too, and of course, ice cream!

16. Bison At Battelle Darby Creek

Sunday May 22nd at 2pm visit Battelle Darby Creek for some fun looking for bison and learning about their habitat. This is a 2-mile walk with a naturalist.

17. Ohio Princess Ball At The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral
