1. Visit a Farmers Market

Farmers Markets are popping up all over Columbus! Check out the link for a list of Farmers Markets for every day of the week!

2. Go Public Garden Days at Dawes Arboretum

From May 7-16, the Arboretum is celebrating all the ways public gardens better our lives by offering $2.00 off the general admission price. Use the code APGA21 or call 740-323-2355 to reserve your tickets.

3. Drawing with Sheldon the Snail with Grandview Public Library

Learn to draw with Sheldon the Snail and Miss Jean from Grandview Heights Public Library! This event will take place on Facebook Live on Friday at 10:30 AM.

4. Uptown Friday Night in Uptown Westerville

Enjoy live music and artists throughout Uptown Westerville on the first, second and third Fridays, May through September.

5. Movie On The Lawn – Inside Out Hosted by C3 Church

Watch the movie Inside Out on the lawn at C3 Church. Free snacks will be offered! The lot opens at 8:30 PM on Friday night and the movie begins at 9:00 PM.

6. Drive in Movie at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park

Watch a free drive-in movie (A League of Their Own) at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park on Friday at 8:30 PM! There will be a food truck on site. Registration is required.

7. Wheels and Waffles at Hilliard’s Station Park

Ride the Heritage Rail Trail in Hillard and enjoy waffles to go from Coffee Connections, live music, candy and a take home craft! This event takes place Saturday at 9:00 AM. Registration is required.

8. Touch-A-Truck in Pickerington

Kids can see and hear their favorite emergency response vehicles, construction trucks and more on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

9. Online Storytime with Andy J. Pizza and Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers

Enjoy an online story time with illustrator Andy J. Pizza where he will read his new picture book, Pizza with Everything On It! This is recommended for kids ages 5-8 and takes place on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Register online.

10. Green Lawn Abbey Mother’s Day Tour & Picnic

Enjoy picnic lunch on the lawn of the Green Lawn Abbey! The doors of the Abbey will be open to touring Broke Johnny Food Truck will be on site. Hours are 10:00 AM -2:00 PM.

11. Mother’s Day at the Zoo

Mothers and grandmothers receive free admission to the Columbus Zoo when accompanied by at least one of their children or grandchildren. Tickets for the children/grandchildren must be purchased in advance.

12. Outdoor Mother’s Day Craft Market at BrewDog

Shop an outdoor market on Sunday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM featuring handmade goods! Dogs welcome!

13. Military Appreciation Month at Skate Zone 71

Active and retired military professionals will receive free admission on Sundays in May from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. ID required.

14. Mother’s Day Canvas Class at Busy Bees Pottery & Arts Studio

Paint a panel of a Mother’s Day canvas set together! This event takes place on Sunday and there are times available at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Register online.
