1. Pumpkin Picking and Fall Festivals

Fall festivals around Central Ohio are beginning and many of them include pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, outdoor activities, food and all kinds of fall-themed fun! Click the link for a complete list of fall festivals and pumpkin farms to choose your fun this weekend!

2. Monsters and Mochas at Community Grounds: Coffee & Meeting House

Visit the Monsters in the abandoned Meeting House on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM! There will be a hands-free tour and you will get a bag of fun activities to do at home! Appropriate for all ages.

3. Boo at the Zoo at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Boo at The Zoo is a not-scary Halloween event where kids can dress up and collect candy at 13 treat stations around the zoo! There will be a Jack-O-Lantern Journey Seek and Find, musical, rolling celebrations, a self-guided tour at Frogwortz Academy and more! This event is included in membership or admission and takes place Fridays from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM. All visits require a timed ticket purchased in advance! Members will need to have tickets before 5:00 PM.

4. Sleepy Hollow Drive-In at Ohio History Center

Each Friday night in October you can watch a “spooktacular” movie at this drive-in experience at Ohio History Center! There will also be drive-thru scenes from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. This weekend’s movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas and there are two times: 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM. You must get your tickets in advance. 

5. Trunk or Treat at HTH Farm Market

Sign up in advance for a time slot to trick or treat at HTH Farm Market on Friday night beginning at 6:00 PM.

6. Westerville Pumpkin Glow

Get your tickets for this drive-thru Pumpkin Glow in Westerville! The event is happening October 21-25 and October 28-November 1 at Everal Barn. There will be thousands of carved pumpkins to drive through!

7. Moonlight Movies at Polaris Fashion Place

Polaris Fashion Place is offering Friday Night movies in the parking lot! Movies begin at 7:30 PM and tickets should be reserved in advance! This weekend’s movie is Ghostbusters!

8. Fall Day at the Farm at Fox’s High Rock Farm

This event takes place in Logan, Ohio on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Activities include wagon rides, crafts, animals, snacks, games and more! Admission is $5.

9. Artist Suzy Ultman Virtual Book Launch Event Hosted by Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers

This virtual event will take place over Zoom on Saturday at 10:00 AM and celebrates the launch of the book called Love Can Come in Many Ways. The illustrator, Suzy Ultman, has created a special coloring page for participants. Register in advance.

10. CRC Drive-Thru Pumpkin Patch at North Broadway United Methodist Church

On Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, bring 3 canned goods to donate and receive a free pumpkin! There will be pre-packaged kids activities and apple cider to go! Donations benefit the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center.

11. Trick or Treat on the Farm and Costume Contest at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm

Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm is hosting a trick or treat and costume contest on Sunday from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. There will be vendor booths passing out goodies, cash prizes and a Best Dressed Pet Contest, too! The costume contest takes place at 3:00 PM. Admission is $10/child and $8/adult.

12. Harvest Happening in Historic Dublin

This event in Historic Dublin on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM includes live art, sidewalk chalk art, a non-perishable food collection, a wood carving exhibit and a raffle drawing.

13. Columbus Enchanted Princess Ball at Royal American Golf Course

Enjoy princess songs and dancing, a socially distanced meet and greet, food and drink! This event takes place on Sunday from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Tickets are available online. 

14. Trunk or Treat Trail! at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene

This outdoor event includes fall fun and candy and takes place Sunday from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM!

15. Costume Contest at The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek

This costume contest takes place at 3:00 PM on Sunday. Each contestant will receive a goodie bag and there will be two winners for the best costume!
