1. Scarecrow Festival In WCH

This Weekend September 16th-18th head out to the Scarecrow Festival in  Downtown Washington Court House. This festival features carnival rides, concessions, games, music and more!

2. Our Village: The Little Gym Polaris Playdate At Lazelle Woods Park

This Friday September 16th at 10:30am visit Lazelle Woods Park for a morning of gymnastics class in the park with your little ones. This event is intended for ages 5 and under.

3. Screen On The Green-Pixar’s Coco In Goodale Park 

Friday September 16th at 7:45pm visit Goodale Park for Screen On The Green! The movie being featured this week is Pixar’s Coco. Pack your chairs, blanket and picnic for a movie under the stars.

4. Opening Weekend at Leeds Farm

Leeds Farm has enough farm and fun activities to keep your family moving all day, including the new Green Acres, Back 40 barnyard activities, hayrides, farm animals, and farm pond. Pre-purchased tickets are required for anyone age 3 and up.

5. Storytime With Author Dia Mixon At Cover To Cover Bookstore

Saturday September 17th at 10am start your morning at Cover To Cover Bookstore with a great storytime featuring author Dia Mixon! This storytime will feature her book One Whole Me.

6. Pumpkin Season Is Here! At Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm 

This Saturday September 17th at 10am marks the beginning of pumpkin season at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm! This event features all things pumpkin, hayrides, hot cider and lot’s of family fun! See link for details on specific times of events.

7. Community Helpers Storytime: Meet A Pilot At Tremont Road Library

Saturday September 17th at 10:30am visit Tremont Road Library for a morning of learning about what it’s like for the day in the life of a pilot. This event will feature related stories, crafts and a chance to test real pilot equipment.

8. The Latine/Hispanic Heritage Month Parade in Downtown Columbus

The inaugural Latine/Hispanic Heritage Month Parade will kick off at Rich and Civic Center Dr. at 11:00 AM on Saturday. A program following the parade will feature leaders in the Latine/Hispanic community in front of City Hall.

9. CREATE! A Community Art Making Event At Boardman Arts Park

Saturday September 17th starting at Noon visit Boardman Arts Park for some hands on fun with art. Food trucks, collaborating with artists, crafts, and live demonstrations will all be featured here at this free family friendly event. Registration is required.

10. Wings Of Steel At Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park 

Saturday September 17th at 2pm visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park for an afternoon of learning about the monarch butterfly and why it has four wings of steel.

11. Movie In The Park: Days Of Thunder At Highbanks Metro Park 

Saturday September 17th at 8pm visit Highbanks Metro Park for Movie In The Park. The film being featured is Days Of Thunder (PG-13). Pack your snacks, blanket and chairs for a great movie out in the Big Meadows Picnic Area.

12. Powell Street Market In Downtown Powell

Sunday September 18th at 9am visit Downtown Powell for Powell Street Market. This family friendly event features more than 90 artisan vendors and plenty of local shops and restaurants to support!

13. Cops & Kids Day At Westerville Sports Complex

Sunday September 18th at Noon head over to the Westerville Sports Complex for Cops & Kids Day. This is a day of meeting law enforcement officers, K-9 companions, inflatables, arts & crafts, visiting vehicles on display, food trucks and much more!

14. Family Fun Fest 2022 At Northwest Chapel

Sunday September 18th at 12:30pm visit the Northwest Chapel lawn for Family Fun Fest! This event features food trucks, carriage rides, inflatables, games and more!

15. Hilliard Fall Festival At Reynolds Municipal Park 

Sunday September 18th at 1pm visit Reynolds Municipal Park for Hilliard Fall Festival. This great family friendly festival features all kinds of ways to celebrate the beginning of fall. Hayrides, pumpkin carving, inflatables, games, magic show, farm animals, food trucks and more!

16. Happy Tails-N-Trails At Sharon Woods Metro Park

Sunday September 18th at 1pm visit Sharon Woods Metro Park with your canine companion for a 2-mile hike.

17. Sunday At The Movies At Tremont Road Library

This Sunday September 18th starting at 2pm visit the Tremont Road Library for an afternoon movie! The film being featured is The Lorax. 

18. Start a Legacy of Caring this Grandparents’ Day with Seeds of Caring

Through 9/19, grandparents and grandkids can join forces to pack Family Care Kits for those staying at the Van Buren Family Shelter. This is an opportunity for families to build a legacy of intergenerational service by connecting in meaningful ways. Seeds of Caring makes it easy (and fun!) with a guided discussion and packing list you can do at home.
