10:00 AM – Tots on the Trails at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – take a slow-paced walk with your toddler or preschooler to discover nature.

10:00 AM – Disney’s Enchanted Tales at Marcus Theatres (Crosswoods and Pickerington) – each weekend throughout September you can see a classic Disney movie for $6. There are 4 show times each day (click the link for details). This weekend’s movie is Peter Pan.

10:00 AM – Storytime: Monarchs at Highbanks Metro Park – learn about monarch butterflies through stories and songs. Recommended for ages 5 and under.

3:30 PM – Open Gaming at Bexley Public Library – kids ages 8-18 can play video games on the big screen, board games, PC games, card games and more! No registration required.

6:00 PM – Night Market at North Market! – the North Market stays open late with outdoor vendors, live music and more!

6:00 PM – For Kids: Nature Scavenger Hunt at Highbanks Metro Park – pick up a scavenger hunt sheet in the nature center and return it to win a small prize!

6:30 PM – Walk and Woof at Glacier Ridge Metro Park – the whole family can take their dog on a 2.5 mile hike.

9:00 AM – Jack Hanna Weekend at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – celebrate Jack Hanna’s anniversary at the zoo with activity stations, Jack Hanna Live on stage, character meet and greet, live music, animal enrichment and more! 

9:00 AM – Fallapalooza at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – celebrate fall with a haunted maze, pumpkin painting, bounce houses, a visit from Cause for Canines and more!

9:00 AM – Apple Festival at Branstool Orchards – this festival celebrates apples with free food and samples, hayrides, pony rides, bobbing for apples, face painting, contests and demonstrations, and much more! 

9:00 AM – Market Day at Westgate Farmers Market – this week’s market features Tacomania and Cream and Sugar food trucks plus vendors selling produce and hand made goods! This week kids can get a free toothbrush by stopping by the Murray Hill Dental tent!

9:00 AM – Fall Family Fun Day & Schoolhouse Birthday Party at Groovy Plants Ranch – this event celebrates the 150th birthday of the historic Fargo Schoolhouse with crafts, pumpkin painting, kids activities, live music, apple cider and more!

9:00 AM – Hills Famous $5 Pancake Breakfast at Hills Market – on Saturdays and Sundays you can get 2 pancakes, sausage links and coffee for $5!

9:00 AM – Leeds Farm Autism Harvest Festival at Leeds Farm – Leeds Farm hosts a special time on the farm for children and adults with autism and their families at no charge from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. There will be autism provider booths and special activities. See link for RSVP information.

9:30 AM – Grove City Arts in the Alley in Grove City Town Center – Arts in the Alley includes over 100 exhibitors, a parade, musical entertainment, food vendors and entertainment for kids!

10:00 AM – Annual Wool Gathering at Young’s Dairy – this large festival will feature sheep, llamas, alpacas and more animals! There will be shearing demonstrations, wool spinning, weaving, over 100 vendors and more! Admission is free.

10:00 AM – Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival – Opening Weekend! at Freeman’s Farm – Freeman’s Farm opens for the season with hayrides, campfire with concessions, kettle corn, scarecrow making an more! 

10:00 AM – Opening Day: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer at COSI Columbus’ Dynamic Hands-On Science Center! – Meet Leonardo and Donatello in person from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM and experience the TMNT exhibit first hand featuring puzzles, mazes, problem solving and more!

11:00 AM – Harvest Celebration at Smeck Park – this event includes a family play area with pumpkin painting, toys, games and more. There will be candle making, a scavenger hunt, a petting zoo, live music, farming demonstrations and more!

12:00 PM – 4th Annual Shepherds Fest at Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center – explore the gardens, take a hayride, enjoy games and activities, rock painting, corn hole and more! Feed the animals, eat from Moody Trudy food truck, check out a fire truck up close and more! Cost is $5/vehicle, cash only.

12:00 PM – Pickerington Oktoberfest 2019 at Combustion Brewery & Taproom – this is a free event featuring live music, food trucks, traditional games and more!

12:00 PM – MustardFEST 2019 at Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co – this free event features kids activities, a weiner dog race, live music and more!

1:00 PM – Feed the Stream at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park  – feed the fish in the stream at the Nature Center.

1:00 PM – Open Barn Days 2019 at Sunrise Sanctuary – visit the animals at the sanctuary at their monthly open house. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and children 3 and under are free. Tickets are available in advance.

3:00 PM – Money Movie Saturdays at Westland Area Library – this movie series is for kids and teens and they will be able to engage with an interactive exhibit about money and then watch a movie with a money theme. Kids can earn “Book Bucks” for attendance to use in the Thinking Money for Kids Library Store.

6:00 PM – Family Movie Night at Pataskala Public Library – watch The Secret Life of Pets 2 with free popcorn and a soft drink! Kids must be accompanied by an adult. 

7:00 PM – Campfire & Smores at Highbanks Metro Park – make s’mores around the campfire and enjoy crafts for kids.

7:00 PM – Diamond Eyes at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – all ages can go hunting for spiders. Bring a flashlight or headlamp.

2:00 PM – Fairy Houses at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – build fairy houses with materials from the natural play area.

5:00 PM – Music in the Garden: Summer ’19 in Olde Towne East Community Gardens – this free concert in the garden features Meredith Evans and Full Count Band.
