Local farms are gearing up for Fall Festivals and activities! Start your planning by checking out these posts:

1. Oktoberfest in New Albany

Oktoberfest will be held in New Albany on Friday and Saturday. This is a free event that includes vendors, live entertainment, craft vendors, a beer garden and kids activities like a bounce house, balloon twisters, face painters and more!

2. Moonlight Movies at Polaris Fashion Place

This outdoor movie begins at sundown on Friday. This week’s movie is The Great Gatsby (rated PG-13). Registration is required.

3. Fallapalooza at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center

Celebrate fall at Hoover Gardens on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with a haunted maze, food truck and other fun activities! On Saturdays in October they will have a pumpkin painting station!

4. Centennial Year Applefest 2021 at Lawrence Orchards

Applefest takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This event includes hayrides, music, pony rides and more! Tickets are $5 for everyone over the age of 2. You can pick your own apples here!

5. Harvest Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory

See thousands of pumpkins, mums and other fall decorations including two Pumpkin Houses in the Franklin Park Conservatory’s Children’s Garden! Dates for Harvest Blooms are September 25 – October 31, 2021. Reservations are encouraged.

6. Expo and Family Fun Day at Grove City YMCA

This event will include a touch-a-tuck, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding and more! Free for members, $5 per non member or $20/family. This event takes place on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

7. Critter Hide and Seek at Blendon Woods Metro Park

Search for hidden critters along the paved lake trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park! This event takes place from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday.

8. The Grandview Hop

On Saturday from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM shop vendors, enjoy live music, art, food and fun activities for all ages on Grandview Avenue!

9. Mercat STEAM Party at Gymboree Play & Music Gahanna

Enjoy a STEAM-themed party on Saturday at 5:00 PM with science experiments, play and music activities! $20/child ($10 for siblings). Purchase your ticket in advance. Recommended for ages 1-5. There is also a party on Sunday.

10. Peace, Love, & Food Trucks at Broad Street Presbyterian Church

This event on Sunday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM includes live music, children’s activities, food trucks and more! Admission is free and a free meal is included.

11. Fall Festival at Reynolds Municipal Park

This fall festival on Sunday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM includes inflatables, games, horse and wagon rides, axe throwing, pumpkin decorating, balloon twisting, food trucks, live music and much more!
