FRIDAY:

9:30 AM – Toddler Play Time – Art Explorers at Creative Art Bar Hilliard – this is a 2 hour craft and sensory play time with sensory stations set up around the room and other crafting tables. Walkers through 5 years old. Register online.

10:00 AM – Chips, Queso & Salsa at Fun Town Play and Learn Café – celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with arts and crafts, music, chips, quest and salsa and more! 

10:00 AM – Harvest Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory – view thousands of pumpkins and other autumnal decorations in the Conservatory’s largest fall display yet!

10:00 AM – Disney’s Enchanted Tales at Marcus Theatres (Crosswoods and Pickerington) – each weekend throughout September you can see a classic Disney movie for $6. There are 4 show times each day (click the link for details). This weekend’s movie is The Little Mermaid.

10:00 AM – 1st Birthday Celebration at Legoland Discovery Center – celebrate the first birthday of LEGOLAND with special builds, character appearances and more! Check the link for the schedule.

11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Dairy – take a wagon ride to pick your own pumpkin from the field! $9/pumpkin or 3 for $24 and that includes the wagon ride. Pre-picked pumpkins are also available at the farm for varying prices.

11:00 AM – Preschoolers: Turtles in the Fast Lane at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – learn all about turtles and watch turtle races. Ages 3-5 in the Nature Center.

3:30 PM – Oktoberfest in New Albany – this is a free event that includes live music, food vendors, a pumpkin patch, climbing wall and bounce houses.

5:00 PM – Children’s Day at COSI – children and families who are involved with Franklin County Children’s Services will receive free admission to COSI. There will be local musicians, mascots and more! Everyone else can receive reduced admission that night as COSI stays open late for Family Friday Night!

5:00 PM – Let’s Ride Party at A.D. Farrow Co. – this party benefits A Kid Again and features a concert, stunt riders, pit-bike races, food trucks and more! Tickets available online.

6:00 PM – 4th Friday in Uptown Westerville – stroll the streets for special activities, music and businesses that stay open late! This month’s theme is Farm in the City.

6:00 PM – 4th Fridays on the Lawn at Westerville Public Library  – enjoy a family-friendly activity on the front lawn of the library during Uptown Westerville’s 4th Friday!

6:00 PM – Fun ZUMBA Kids! at Fun Town Play and Learn Café – check out a free Zumba Kids class! Learn different styles of dance! RSVP by sending a message to reserve your spot!

7:00 PM – Jurassic World Live Tour at The Schottenstein Center  – watch the amazing dinosaurs from the movie come to life in the first performance of their tour! This is a new story line with the addition of some new characters and dinosaurs! There are 6 performances this weekend!

7:00 PM – Disney’s Cinderella Kids at Schottenstein Theater – watch an adaption of Cinderella performed by Bexley Theatre Arts. There are 3 performances of the show this weekend.

7:30 PM – Haunted Wagon Rides at Young’s Dairy – this is a family-friendly, but scary, wagon ride with scary stories, monsters and gobblins. $13 for ages 5 and up. 4 and under are $5.

7:30 PM – For Families: Night Hike at Highbanks Metro Park – look for nocturnal animals on a one mile hike. Bring a flashlight and bug spray.


Fall Festivals Happening On the Weekends in Columbus and Central Ohio

Great Pumpkin Fun Center at Pigeon Roost – Pigeon Roost features a pumpkin patch, farm animals and The Great Pumpkin Fun Center with giant slides, mazes, a fort, play areas, and tons more! Weekends include wagon rides, face painting, crafters and concessions!

Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – At Lynd Fruit Farm you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and enjoy the farm market on its own or also head over to the giant corn maze where there is also a barrel train, fun zone, bounce house, wagons rides and more!

The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek features a huge corn maze plus a cow train, barnyard bouncer, petting zoo, kiddie maze, ball zone, slides, laser tag, pedal carts, kids fun barn, tether ball and more! Hayrides are also available!

Fall Farm Fun at Leeds Farm – Leeds Farm is open six weekends only through October 28 with hayrides, farm animals, farm pond, pumpkins and gourds! Back 40 Barn Pass admission includes Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere combine slide, mountain slides, and mini zip lines, rolling tubes, straw forts, pig races, pedal carts, the biggest corn box in Ohio, and more! Fall Fun Festival at Dill’s Greenhouse – Fall festivals are happening on the weekends, September 28 – October 27. Hayrides, corn maze, fire pit and hotdogs and s’mores for roasting (bring your own or purchase there), straw maze, sand box, pumpkins, games and activities!

Fall Festival at Hidden Creek Farms – Festival weekends offer hayrides, pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, fall decorations, food, pony rides, slide, kids play barn, corn pit, farm animals, straw maze, and more!

Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival

 at Freeman’s Farm – The Fall Festival weekends at Freeman’s Farm include hayrides, kettle corn, campfire foods, scarecrow making, a petting zoo and apple butter making! Fall Fun at Lehner’s at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm – fall fun at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm begins this weekend and includes over 30 rides and attractions including a corn maze, giant LEGOS, a play barn, mini golf, pumpkins and more!

Pumpkin Picking at Sharp Farm – This farm includes a petting zoo, corn maze, and a U-Pick pumpkin patch!

Family Fun at Young’s Jersey Dairy – Young’s Dairy offers pumpkin picking, Cowvin’s Corny Playground, a hayride to pick your own pumpkin, haunted wagon rides, kiddie corral, fast slide, batting cages, mini golf and more!

8:00 AM – POP UP! Fall Clothing and Equipment Sale at Resolute Athletic Complex – shop this huge consignment sale for gently used baby and kids clothing, equipment, toys, maternity items and more!

10:00 AM – Freeman’s Farm Fall Festival at Freeman’s Farm – enjoy a hayride, farm animals, kettle corn, scarecrow making, pumpkins and more!

10:00 AM – FUNTEMBER FEST!! at the Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – enjoy a festival at the Corn Maze with bounce houses, snacks and much more! Tickets support the work of the Salvation Army of Licking Franklin and Fairfield Counties.

10:00 AM – Old Navy Kids Safety Fair at Old Navy Stores Nationwide – in participating Old Navy stores, you can get a free child ID, free safety tips and participate in safety activities. 

10:00 AM – Harvest Fair at Stratford Ecological Center – at this event you can climb on a tractor, get your face painted, feed chickens, take a wagon ride and more! $5/person.

10:00 AM – Pumpkinpalooza 2019 at Emswiler Farms – This festival benefits the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Nationwide Childrens. There will be food, a pumpkin patch, hayride, bounce house, carousel ride and more! Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

10:00 AM – Cheryl’s 2019 Fall Festival at Cheryl’s Cookies and Brownies – this free annual festival includes family activities like a hay slide, pumpkin bowling, corn hole an more! There will be tastings, cooking frosting, a story time, visits from characters and more! The first 50 customers get a free gift.

10:00 AM – 2019 Health & Safety Fair and Touch a Truck Experience at Ohio University Chillicothe – this event features free health screenings, local agencies, plus a touch-a-truck, live entertainment, and animals!

10:00 AM – Fall Festival Weekends at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm – fall fun includes over 30 rides and attractions including a corn maze, giant LEGOS, a play barn, mini golf, pumpkins and more!

10:00 AM – Military Families Salute at Leeds Farm – active duty and retired military personnel and their children and grandchildren can receive a 50% discount on Barn Pass admissions on Saturday and Sunday!

10:30 AM – Expo & Family Fun Day at Grove City YMCA – this event includes food trucks, bounce house, animals from the Columbus Zoo, crafts, canoeing and kayaking, touch-a-truck, demonstrations and more! Free for members. Non members are $5/person or $20/family.

11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Dairy  – take a wagon ride to pick your own pumpkin from the field! $9/pumpkin or 3 for $24 and that includes the wagon ride. Pre-picked pumpkins are also available at the farm for varying prices.

11:00 AM – Frontier Spirit at Alley Park – learn about the first settlers in the Ohio Territory and what life was like for them. There is an outdoor theater, a tent village, demonstrations of what life was like, games, activities, snacks, a church service on Sunday and more! This is a free event.

11:00 AM – 25th Birthday Party for Field of Corn at Field Of Concrete Corn in Dublin, Ohio – celebrate the 25th birthday of the Field of Corn with games, a “corn maze”, food and beverages, games, yoga and lot more! This is a free event for all ages.

11:00 AM – Anniversary Weekend! at Dulce Vida Ice Cream Factory – celebrate the anniversary of Dulce Vida with a free scoop of ice cream with the purchase of one more and a free popsicle with the purchase of one more! Face painting will be taking place from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Saturday at the North location and Sunday at the West location.

12:00 PM – Horse Drawn Hayrides at Leeds farm – this weekend only, Leeds Farm is offering hayrides drawn by horses until 5:00 PM.

11:00 AM – Family Fun Day at Sharp Farms – celebrate 100 years of the Ohio Farm Bureau with a petting zoo, corn maze, homemade ice cream, play area and pumpkins! There will be a special price of $5 for admission.

12:00 PM – Oktoberfest in New Albany – this is a free event that includes live music, food vendors, a pumpkin patch, climbing wall and bounce houses.

12:00 PM – Harvest Fair at Columbus Commons – this free event includes inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting, craft, folk music, pumpkins for $2, yard games and much more! No wristband is required for activities!

1:00 PM – Crazy for Crayfish at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – look for crayfish in the creek!

2:00 PM – Hilltop Community Festival at Hillcrest Baptist Church – enjoy a party that includes free Skyline Chili, a bounce house, games, music from 104.9 The River and more!

2:00 PM – Disney’s Cinderella Kids at Schottenstein Theater – watch an adaption of Cinderella performed by Bexley Theatre Arts. There are 3 performances of the show this weekend.

2:00 PM – For Families: Tree ID at Highbanks Metro Park – learn to identify trees and leaves on a 1 mile hike.

3:00 PM – Money Movie Saturdays at Westland Area Library – this movie series is for kids and teens and they will be able to engage with an interactive exhibit about money and then watch a movie with a money theme. Kids can earn “Book Bucks” for attendance to use in the Thinking Money for Kids Library Store.

3:00 PM – Jurassic World Live Tour at The Schottenstein Center  – watch the amazing dinosaurs from the movie come to life in the first performance of their tour! This is a new story line with the addition of some new characters and dinosaurs! There are 6 performances this weekend!

4:00 PM – Dinner on the Farm, Pizza by Raging Bull! at Women That Farm, LLC – meet the animals on the farm and learn about how the farm works. Wood-fired pizza will be available from The Raging Bull. 

6:00 PM – Sideways Saturday Hooligan Ride at AIM Expo – visit the AIM Expo for a flat track race and more!

7:00 PM – Disney’s Cinderella Kids at Schottenstein Theater – watch an adaption of Cinderella performed by Bexley Theatre Arts. There are 3 performances of the show this weekend.

12:00 PM – Service Superhero Day at The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – on Service Superhero Day Military, Police, Fire and First Responders and their families can get BOGO admission!

1:00 PM – Jurassic World Live Tour at The Schottenstein Center  – watch the amazing dinosaurs from the movie come to life in the first performance of their tour! This is a new story line with the addition of some new characters and dinosaurs! There are 6 performances this weekend!

1:00 PM – Ropes, knots, and splices at Slate Run Metro Park and Living Historical Farm – use the rope-making machine to make a jump rope!

1:00 PM – Welcome to Fall Fest at Glacier Ridge Metro Park – this festival includes hayrides, crafts, games, face painting, animals, archery and more! Food trucks will be available but all other activities are free. 

1:00 PM – Community Culture Celebration at Westerville Central High School – this free event celebrates diversity in Westerville and the surrounding area. There will be games, cultural dress presentations, music, panel discussions, food trucks and more!

3:00 PM – Bugs & Blooms at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – take a 2 mile walk to look for fall flowers and insects! All ages.

5:00 PM – Jurassic World Live Tour at The Schottenstein Center  – watch the amazing dinosaurs from the movie come to life in the first performance of their tour! This is a new story line with the addition of some new characters and dinosaurs! There are 6 performances this weekend!
