FRIDAY:

9:00 AM – Newest Kids’ Resale Event In Town-JBF Northwest Columbus at Franklin County Fair-Hilliard, Ohio – shop this local consignment sale for kids and baby clothing, maternity items, baby gear, toys and more!
 
9:45 AM – Drop In Music Class at Coffee Connections of Hilliard – preregister or just drop in for  a music class for ages 1-23 months. $5/child, $3 for siblings. 
10:00 AM – Forest Fridays at Sunbury Urban Farm – enjoy a 30 minute nature activity and free play in the woods. $5 suggested donation. 
 
10:00 AM – Disney’s Enchanted Tales at Marcus Theatres (Crosswoods and Pickerington) – each weekend throughout September you can see a classic Disney movie for $6. There are 4 show times each day (click the link for details). This weekend’s movie is Moana.

3:00 PM – Lithopolis Honeyfest – celebrate the honey bee with tastings, demonstrations, mead and wine tasting, contests, kids crafts, art, live music and more! This event takes place on Friday and Saturday and admission is free. 
 
4:00 PM – Macedonian Festival at Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral of The Dormition of The Virgin Mary – this festival takes place all weekend and features traditional music and dancing, ethnic food, tours of the cathedral and a games and play area for kids. 
 
5:00 PM – Columbus Oktoberfest 2019 at the Ohio Expo Center – this event includes live music and dance, food, bier, crafts and more! This is a free event. 
5:30 PM – First Fridays at Reeb Avenue Center – enjoy a family friendly eventing with a seasonal theme.

6:30 PM – Grandparent Splash Bash! at Goldfish Swim School Dublin – enjoy a special time with your grandparent at this event that will include an open family swim, and Grandparent Kickboard Races. There will be Borgata Pizza and Nothing Bundt Cakes plus giveaways and more! $5/person ($15 max per family).

SATURDAY

7:00 AM – Morning Walk with the Bison at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – take a 1 mile hike to learn about bison during the sunrise! All ages.

9:00 AM – Market Day at West Gate Lodge No.623 F&AM – shop the local vendors for fresh produce, homemade goods, art and more! Explorer’s Food Truck and the Cream and Sugar Ice Cream Truck will be on site.
 
9:30 AM – Free Spanish for Bebés at Fun Town Play and Learn Café – introduce your babies to Spanish through musical instruments, bubbles, props and parachutes as well as puppet characters! Confirm your RSVP online – spots are limited.

10:00 AM – Celebrate Grandparents Day at A&R Workshop Grove City – kids can make a custom gift for grandparents day!  Walk in anytime between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. $10 each.
 
10:00 AM – Cowvin’s Corny Playland Adventure at Young’s Jersey Dairy – it was too rainy this spring for a good corn crop so the corn maze has been turned into a playland adventure! There will be a bale maze, hula hoop toss, bale art, human hamster wheels, pumpkin bowling and more! $4/person includes a wage ride!
11:00 AM – Honeycrisp U-Pick at The Orchard and Company – pick Honeycrisp apples while supplies last. $25/peck, $35/half bushel.
 
11:00 AM – Festival For Good in Franklinton – celebrate social enterprise with live entertainment, food and beverages and vendors and businesses who are doing good and giving back. This is a free, family-friendly festival. 
 
12:00 PM – Grand Opening at Musicologie Lewis Center – celebrate the grand opening of the newest Musicologie location. There will be free food, games, face painting, raffles, entertainment from the Shazzbots! There will be a Kids Party and Adult Happy Hour!
 
12:00 PM – Columbus Oktoberfest 2019 at the Ohio Expo Center – this event includes live music and dance, food, bier, crafts and more! This is a free event.

2:00 PM – Apple Cidering at Sycamore Plaza Library – Bring the Farm to You will be on site to teach you how to make apple cider! Learn to make cider and sample what you make! Register online.
 
3:00 PM – Money Movie Saturdays at Westland Area Library – this movie series is for kids and teens and they will be able to engage with an interactive exhibit about money and then watch a movie with a money theme. Kids can earn “Book Bucks” for attendance to use in the Thinking Money for Kids Library Store.
 
5:00 PM – Going on a Bigfoot Hunt! at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – look for clues for Bigfoot in Battelle Darby Metro Park! All ages.
 
6:00 PM – Hilltop Art Hop at Westgate Business Works – meet featured artists, enjoy live music, snacks and more at local businesses in the Hilltop.

SUNDAY

12:00 PM – 2nd Sundays at Ohio Wildlife Center – visit the Ohio Wildlife Center and its inhabitants! An animal enrichment activity will take place at 1:00 PM. $5/person. Kids 5 and under are free.
12:00 PM – Columbus Oktoberfest 2019 at the Ohio Expo Center – this event includes live music and dance, food, bier, crafts and more! This is a free event. 
 
12:00 PM – 2019 Merion Village Festival at Moeler Park – this free festival features artists, crafters, local businesses, food trucks, live music, activities for kids and more!
 
12:00 PM – Food Trucks in the Park 2019 at Selby Park – enjoy food from a local food truck and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Asia’s Hope, an organization that provides care for orphaned children at risk of exploitation in Cambodia, Thailand and India.
 
2:00 PM – Migrating Monarchs at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park – learn about monarchs and their migration to Mexico! Takes place in the Nature Center.
 
2:00 PM – Columbus Zoo at Franklin Park Conservatory – visit with animal ambassadors from Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Included with admission or membership.
3:00 PM – Back to School Open House at Young Chefs Academy of Gahanna – take part in various activities exploring flavors from sweet to umami! This is a free event where you can come and go to learn about Young Chef’s Academy.
 
6:00 PM – Bucks and Buckeyes at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – all ages are welcome to take a 2 mile walk to look for Buckeye Trees!
