Looking for something to do with the kids this weekend in Columbus? Try out one of these 11 family-friendly Columbus and Ohiobased events and activities!

1. Mural Scavenger Hunt at 934 Gallery

Take the kids to explore the colorful Outdoor Gallery at 934 Gallery in the Milo Grogan neighborhood of Columbus! Download the scavenger hunt and look for details to answer the questions about each mural! Four of the murals include Augmented Reality! Even if you don’t do the scavenger hunt, the murals are lots of fun to see!

2. Take & Make Kit at Southwest Public Libraries

Beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday until supplies last, you can pick up a take home kit of “Comfort me with Coloring” coloring pages and “helpful hints” at either the Grove City or Westland Libraries.

3. Cincy Brick Show

This LEGO show at Sharonville Convention Center will feature displays, building areas and vendors. The show will take place Friday from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Tickets are $12 at the door and kids 4 and under are free.

Santa’s not the only one coming to town!! “WonderLight’s Christmas in Ohio”, a drive-through Christmas light show, is back this year at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio! This family-friendly event features a 2-mile car ride through more than a million LED lights, all synchronized to music!

4. Christmas Market at Hendren Farm Market

This Christmas Market features artisans and vendors selling unique Christmas gifts, The market will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 PM – 6:00 PM beginning November 13 through December 13.

5. Fall Arts & Crafts at The Five Party & Event Center

This Social Day features an open play time, refreshments and fall activities! Register for this Friday’s event that takes place from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Single child tickets are $10.

6. Schmidt’s Sausage Food Truck at West Gate Lodge

Get your Schmidt’s fix on Friday night from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Westgate Lodge. 

7. WonderLight’s Christmas at National Trail Raceway

This family-friendly event features a 2-mile car ride through more than a million LED lights, all synchronized to music! This drive-through Christmas display is open rain or shine every evening beginning at 5:30 PM, including holidays, from November 13 to January 3! The cost of admission is $7 per person and children 3 years old and under are free. A Carload Pass for vehicles with up to seven passengers is available for $30.

8. ShOHp LOHcal Holiday Market

This Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM shop local handmade vendors at this Holiday Market at Zassy’s Taproom in Grove City. This market will happen each weekend through December 19. The market this weekend features holiday prep ideas and gifts!

9. $5.00 Skating at Skate Zone 71

On Saturday mornings in November from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM kids can skate for $5. Non-skating adults may enter at no charge. 

10. Virtual Storytime with the Creators of NO VOICE TO SMALL

This online event on Saturday at 11:00 AM is hosted by Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers showcases a virtual story time featuring the book No Voice Too Small. 

11. Minion Skate Party at Skate Zone 71

On Sunday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM you can meet and take selfies with a Minion! Admission is $9.00 and skate rental is $4.50.
