Don’t forget it’s Daylight Savings Time this weekend and we “Fall Back” on Sunday morning! (Sigh, I hate this one!)

1. Storytime with Kara at ME and the MOON

This week’s story time theme is Rhythm and Rhyme and includes stories, songs and games for the kids and tea and shopping for the parents! There will be a pop-up book shop immediately following the event.

2. Budding Artists at Westerville Public Library

3. Kids After-School Movie Day at Grandview Heights Public Library

4. First Friday Film Series at Ohio History Center

Ohio History Center stays open late on the First Friday of the month for special activities and a movie! This weekend’s movie is The Goonies, which will start at 7:00 PM. There will be a crew of pirates to hang out with and you can make your own treasure map! Museum admission is reduced to $6 after 5:00 PM. Ages 6-12 will be $3 and Members and kids ages 5 and under are free. Make sure to “like” my Facebook Page because I’ll be doing a giveaway for this event on Thursday!

5. Doll Hair Salon Spectacular at American Girl Columbus

6. KidsLinked.com’s Learning Rocks! Education Expo & Contests at Ohio Expo Center

This free event includes educational vendors, contests, archery tournaments, a Minecraft tournament, Chess tournaments, book signings, writing activities, science activities, rocket launching, trampolines, face painting and more! Parking is $5.

7. Buckeye Book Fair at OARDC, Fisher Auditorium

If you’re looking for a road trip, North East Ohio’s largest book fair includes the chance to buy books written by Ohio authors, author signings and readings, plus special events for kids such as writing activities, paper craft activities, coloring and more! Admission is $2.

8. Family Fun at Franklin Park Conservatory

Make Day of the Dead crafts at this event celebrating the Mexican holiday focused on remembering loved ones. There will be a scratch art calavera skull and tissue paper flowers to make. Free with admission or membership.

9. Clothing Bag Sale at 2nd Times A Charm

14. The Great Pumpkin Drop at Marysville Fire Station 271
