Call me crazy, but I actually like making (and tend to keep) New Year’s Resolutions! I think the key is making them realistic, attainable and easy to measure. (It also helps if you have a task-oriented personality, which I do. It is a strength AND a weakness, trust me!)
One year I resolved not to eat store-bought breakfast cereal for one year. And I did it. It’s like a little challenge I know I can accomplish. In 2016, I resolved to exercise 208 times (an average of 4x per week) and I did it! (Yes, the last week of December I was exercising twice a day…) 😉 Must. check. off. those. boxes. . . Okay, now I’ve let you see a little bit too much of my crazy. 😉
Whether or not you make (or keep) New Year’s Resolutions, I think sitting down and being more intentional about the year ahead is always a good thing to do! Here are 10 ideas for being more intentional this year:
