COSI may be temporarily closed but here are three ways your kids can stay connected!
We have had a COSI membership since my oldest son was one year old! Taking him to the little kidspace was a favorite outing and as my kids have grown, we have expanded to enjoy all of the areas of COSI! My youngest is a huge dinosaur fan so the addition of the Dinosaur Gallery was a huge win for him!
COSI is currently closed but there are several ways you can stay connected to COSI and that your kids can continue to be exposed to science and hands on learning!
Here are three special things COSI has going on in 2020:
1. Purchase a Buy One Year, Get One Year Free Membership!
If you’re not already a COSI Member, now is the time to become one! COSI recently announced an unprecedented deal on memberships! Now through May 31st, anyone who buys or renews a regularly-priced COSI Membership online will receive a free extra year to the membership.
If you are an existing member, you will get two additional years added to your current expiration in addition to the amount of time they have closed. This is one way for the community to support COSI’s belief that science is for everyone.
Your membership will begin when COSI reopens so you will not lose any days when you purchase. Click here for all the details.
2. Participate in the Digital COSI Science Festival
The COSI Science Festival is taking place May 6-8, 2020 and this year it will take place online! The festival will culminate with the Big “At-Home” Science Celebration on May 9th. You can participate by doing science projects at home!
Examples of events include a book reading from Te’Lario Watkins of Tiger Mushroom Farms, lunch with arthropods, learning to make a reusable bag with Green Bexley and more! On May 9th the “At Home” Science Celebration involves marshmallows and baking soda! You won’t want to miss it!
3. Continue Online Learning with COSI Connects
COSI Connects is COSI’s digital doorway for fun at-home science discovery and learning. The website offers engaging videos and online activities for all ages including weekly Science Challenges and Citizen Science projects! Visit COSI Connects to take part in all of the online fun!
