This weekend’s list includes many Easter Egg Hunts and Easter events taking place this weekend all around Columbus and, in some cases, beyond! Just a tip – in most cases, you need to bring your own basket to an egg hunt!

Family-Friendly Events in Columbus This Weekend:
1. Photos with the Easter Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place
Get your photo with the Easter Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place through March 30th! All kids 13 and under who visit the Easter Bunny will get a free small gelato from I Scream Gelato. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended. Sensitive Bunny time slots are available.
2. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory
Blooms and Butterflies is open at Franklin Park Conservatory! You can walk through the Pacific Island Water Garden to see free-flying butterflies. Check out the Metamorphosis Lab to see new butterflies emerge from their chrysalis. Daily hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
3. Eggsploring Circleville: A Scavenger Egg Hunt
This is an ongoing event through April 8th where visitors can hunt for Easter eggs hidden throughout downtown Circleville. Register online and then hunt for up to 10 eggs to win a prize. Complete your entry card by Monday, April 8th to be eligible for prizes!
4. Spring Break Spirit Week at The Works!
From March 26 – March 30th, each day at The Works! will have a theme and special events. All activities are included in regular admission. Friday is Feathers, Paws & Claws and Saturday’s theme is Science. Check out 9 Fun Things to do in Newark for more ideas!
5. FREE Earth Day Activities from Seeds of Caring!
Have fun with hands-on activities for kids ages 2-12, just in time for Earth Day! Register for a free service packet with project instructions and guided discussions around protecting our pollinator friends, composting, and conserving electricity. Families and groups can participate any time through April 30.
6. Eggs, Paws & Claws at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
This event includes photos with the Easter Bunny, meet and greets with character ambassadors, a character express and a search for decorated eggs to earn a prize. This event will take place on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
7. 60th Birthday Celebration at COSI
Join COSI in celebrating their 60th birthday on Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This event includes classic COSI activities and a BIG birthday celebration at 12:00 PM at the Atrium Stage.
8. Donuts with Trolls Skate at United Skates of America
Skate and eat donuts with the Trolls on Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at United Skates of America.
9. Easter Egg Hunt and Free Pancake Breakfast at Hillview FWB Church
This event includes a free pancake breakfast beginning at 9:30 AM on Saturday and an egg hunt at 10:30 AM. There will be food, crafts and games. Bring your own basket.
10. Southeast Lions Easter Egg Hunt at Schiller Park
This annual egg hunt is for kids ages 10 and under and it takes place in Schiller Park at 10:00 AM sharp on Saturday. Kids will also be able to tour fire engines, look for a golden egg, take pics with the Easter Bunny and more!
11. Storytime with Author and Illustrator Emmy Kastner at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers
Enjoy a pajama story time with a drawing time with author and illustrator Emmy Kaster to celebrate her new book While You’re Asleep. This event takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Cover to Cover. Read more about Cover to Cover in Upper Arlington.
12. The Hunt – Easter Family Event at High Street Baptist Church
This free event takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM and includes games, bounce houses, prizes and a huge egg hunt for all ages. Register for one of two time slots.
13. Columbus Trading Card and Collectibles Show at Franklin County Fairgrounds
This event is family-friendly and includes over 75 tables featuring collectible cards! There will be door pries, the opportunity to buy, sell and trade and a food truck. Admission is free. Hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday.
14. Hop to the Movies at Marcus Theatres
Head to your local Marcus Theatre for an egg hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny, craft stations and a showing of either Hop or Migration. The event begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
15. Clintonville’s Easter Egg Hunt
Kids ages 10 and under can hunt for candy-filled Easter eggs in Whetstone Park Lower Meadow on Saturday at 10:00 AM sharp! Donuts and hot drinks will be for sale.
16. GRCC Easter Egg Hunt
Enjoy face painting, crafts, coffee, donuts, visits with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Gender Road Christian Church.
17. Easter Egg Hunt at CenterPoint Church
This egg hunt will be divided by age for kids 4th grade and under. There will be refreshments, pictures with the Easter Bunny and an Easter Basket giveaway. The event begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
18. Liberty Easter Egg Hunt
This Easter egg hunt takes place on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday and includes an Easter craft and an egg hunt.
19. Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration at New Beginnings Church
This egg hunt on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM will include over 3000 eggs, games, face painting, bounce houses, cotton candy, cookie decorating and more! There will be visits with the Easter Bunny and goodie bags. The egg hunt will be divided by age including a hunt for adults!
20. Lithopoplis Easter Egg Hunt at The Wagnalls Memorial
This community egg hunt takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and includes crafts, snacks, visits from the Easter Bunny and a storytime. There will be egg hunts going on throughout that time as well.
21. Easter Egg Hunt at First English Lutheran Church
This Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday at 10:00 AM and is for children of all ages. There will be a few golden eggs to find and win a special prize!
22. The Sharon Woods Easter Egg Hunt at Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist
This free event includes an egg hunt and meeting the Easter Bunny. Kids will be divided by age for the hunt. The event begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Bring a basket!
23. Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Rising Park
This annual easter egg hunt is divided into age groups for kids ages 12 and under. The event starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday and the hunt begins at 10:30 AM in Rising Park.
24. Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Aladdin Shrine Center
This egg hunt includes face painting and door prizes. This event for kids 12 and under takes place on Saturday promptly at 10:00 AM and is free to attend.
25. 2024 Easter Egg Hunt at Fortress Obetz
This annual Easter Egg Hunt includes inflatables, pictures with the Easter Bunny, food vendors, temporary tatoos and an egg hunt for over 40,000 eggs! It takes place on Saturday from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. The egg hunt begins at 11:00 AM. (Bring your own basket).
26. Easter Egg Hunt at Huber Park
This event begins promptly at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Huber Park. Kids will be divided by age groups for the egg hunt. Bring your own basket to collect eggs! Registration begins at 10:15 AM and the egg hunt will go fast!
27. Easter Eggstravaganza at Connect Church
This free event includes an egg hunt for 5,000 eggs, free food, games and more on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
28. Easter Egg Hunt at Pataskala Church of the Nazarene
This huge egg hunt takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and includes food and door prizes. The egg hunt will be for ages Pre-K through 6th grade.
29. Community Easter Egg Hunt at Journey Church Columbus
Search for thousands of eggs at this Community Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday. See link for exact directions.
30. Easter Egg Hunt & Puppet Show at Advent Lutheran Church
This egg hunt takes place on Saturday at 11:00 AM and also includes a puppet show, craft time, Easter storytime, prizes games and more. This event is perfect for kids ages 10 and under.
31. Bunny Hunt Trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park
Find all of the bunnies in the woods at Blendon Woods Metro Park and collect a prize. Start at the Nature Center. This activity is available between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on Saturday.
32. GPS Egg Hunt at Sharon Woods Metro Park
Use a GPS unit to search for eggs in Sharon Woods Metro Park. Each egg has a stamp to mark your paper when you find it. Find all of the eggs and receive a prize! This event takes place on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
33. Easter Egg Hunt at Reynoldsburg Nazarene Church
This event includes candy, games and an egg hunt at Reynoldsburg Nazarene Church on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
34. Eclipse Storytime at Dublin Library
Enjoy stories, books and songs with an eclipse theme at the Dublin Branch of CML on Saturday at 2:00 PM! This event is great for ages 6 and under.
35. Eclipse Kids Create at Northern Lights Library
Get ready for the solar eclipse with a creative art time for tweens (ages 7-11) at the Northern Lights Branch of CML from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday.
36. Meet the Easter Bunny at Great Lakes Hyundai of Dublin
This free event takes place on Saturday from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM and includes a free gift for the first 20 kids. Take your photo with the Easter Bunny!
37. Easter Egg Hunt Next Door
Kids age 2 through 6th grade can hunt for 20,000 eggs and enjoy activities and treats at The Church Next Door on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
38. Ohio Roller Derby
Ohio Roller Derby will play two games at Ohio Expo Center on Saturday. The first game begins at 5:00 PM and the second game at 7:00 PM. Roller derby players will sign autographs and pose for photos! The games are kid-friendly at kids 7 and under are free.
39. BrewDog Easter Egg Hunt
Beginning Sunday at 11:00 AM, all ages can look for eggs hidden at BrewDog Franklinton. There will be prizes! Kids eat free at BrewDog on Easter, too. Pre-book online to get one free kids’ meal with the purchase of any adult entree.
40. Easter Sunday Skating at Skate Zone 71
On Sunday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM enjoy a bounce house, egg hunt, meet and greet with the Easter Bunny and skating! There will also be unlimited game play on select arcade games from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
