1. Last Chance! Thanksgiving Food Drive with Seeds of Caring

Get your kids in the giving spirit this weekend to help local families experiencing food insecurity. In this free, at-home project from Seeds of Caring, kids 4-12 will collect non-perishable food items for The Byron Saunders Foundation to help families in need have a very Happy Thanksgiving! This project is available through November 5th.

2. Buckeye Book Fair

On Saturday from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM, head to Wooster, Ohio for a book fair promoting 100 Ohio authors, illustrators and reading! There will be special events, author talks and activities.

3. Tree Trek at Blendon Woods Metro Park

Learn about trees on a 1 mile hike to find out which trees keep their leaves during the winter on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Blendon Woods Metro Park.

4. Family Storytime at the Gahanna Branch of CML

Enjoy a family story time at the Gahanna Library on Saturday at 10:00 AM. This time will include books and fun activities.

5. Puzzle Exchange at the Hilliard Branch of CML

Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle at this Puzzle Exchange on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Hilliard Library.

6. Family Storytime at Westerville Public Library

This story time at Westerville Public Library is perfect for kids ages 2-5 and their siblings. Enjoy stories, rhymes, movement and more on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM.

7. Linden Fall Festival

This Fall Festival will take place at The Linden Market on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and include a fire truck, face painting, pumpkin decorating, performances from the Linden-McKinley band and cheerleaders, a clothing giveaway and more!

8. Lunchtime Hot Dog Campfire at Three Creeks Metro Park

On Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM enjoy a campfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows while supplies last at Three Creeks Metro Park Confluence Area.

9. National Bison Day at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park

Celebrate National Bison day with the bison at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. Enjoy games, snacks, crafts and a hike to see the bison at either 1:00, 2:00 or 3:00 PM on Saturday.

10. Fall Fun Day at Blacklick Woods Metro Park

Fall Fun Day takes place at the Nature Center at Blacklick Woods Metro Park and will include s’mores, crafts and a campfire on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

11. Nacho Saxadillas at the Reynoldsburg Branch of CML

Enjoy a free concert by the Nacho Saxadillas, a blend of 5 saxophones at the Reynoldsburg Library on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM.

12. C-Bus Comic Show at The Clintonville Woman’s Club

This event features comic books, toys, Funko Pop figures, special guests, and more! This event takes place on Sunday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

13. Braiding 101 at the Linden Branch of CML

Learn about the history and techniques of braiding to create a successful business. Participants will be able to practice different braiding styles on Sunday from 2:00 PM – 3:3 PM at the Linden Library. You must register in advance for this class. Best for ages 12 and up.
