1. Totally PAWsome! Make Puppy Packs for Pilot Dogs in Training with Seeds of Caring
In this fun Anywhere Project from Seeds of Caring, kids 4-12 and their families can learn how guide dogs impact the lives of their owners. Then helping hands will share kindness by making DIY dog toys and filling Puppy Packs with treats, paper towels, and other supplies for Pilot Dogs in training. Participate at home, school, or wherever you are through Jan. 29!
2. Kids Dream Winter Film Series At Marcus Theatres

Saturday January 14th at 11:30am visit The Works for Experience More At The Works on Saturdays! This week a history brunch will be featured where senior archeologist at Ohio History Connection Brad Lepper will be discussing ancient Ohio and Newark Earthworks.
15. January HIke At Highbanks Metro Park
Saturday January 14th at Noon visit Highbanks Metro Park for a January Hike. This 2.6 mile hike will be followed by s’mores and hot cocoa.
16. Mandala Rock Painting At Pickerington Public Library
Saturday January 14th at 1pm visit Pickerington Public Library for an afternoon of rock painting. All ages are welcome!
17. Owl Prowl At Blendon Woods Metro Park
Saturday January 14th at 5:30pm visit Blendon Woods Metro Park as you go on an Owl Prowl. This event will feature a 1.5 mile walk as you look for owls and learn more about them.
18. Author Visit At Dublin Toy Emporium
Sunday January 15th at 1pm visit Dublin Toy Emporium for an author visit featuring Julie Dinges and her latest book The Search For The Scepter. This magical afternoon will feature a scavenger hunt, reading from The Search For The Scepter and author meet and greet!
19. Martin Luther King Jr. Day at National Veterans Memorial and Museum
On MLK Jr. Day only, The NVMM will offer $1 admission from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
20. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration at Worthington United Methodist Church
This event beginning at 11:00 AM on Monday features a keynote speaker, musical performances and a light luncheon. This is a free event but you can bring a canned food item to be donated to the Worthington Resource Pantry. This event will also be streamed live online.
21. Kid’s MLK Day Art Camp at Busy Bees Pottery & Arts Studio
This Art Camp takes place on Monday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and will include different art projects and games.
22. MLK Day Open House at Ohio History Center
Attend the MLK Day Open House on Monday between from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Ohio History Center to enjoy musical and live theatrical performances, learn about the civil rights movement, view and make art an more!
