FRIDAY

10:00 AM – Winter Break Play Date at KSM Sports and Fitness Indoor Facility Join Columbus Moms Blog for an indoor play date for kids of all ages! There will be space for kids to run around, play, and explore. The facility will have sports equipment, building blocks, and Nerf wars available. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

10:00 AM – Forest Fridays at Sunbury Urban Farm – this morning includes a 30 minute nature activity plus free play time in the woods! Recommended for ages 2-5. $5 donation suggested.

11:24 AM – Imagination Station at Bexley Public Library – kids can use their imagination at LEGO and art supply stations at the library!

12:30 PM – Stuffed Animal Sleepover at Sycamore Plaza Library – no registration is required for this overnight event for your favorite stuffed animal! Drop off your furry friend between Wednesday and Friday for a special overnight adventure. Pick them up on Saturday morning and enjoy stories and a craft together.

3:45 PM – Friday Arts & Crafts at Art with Anna – do art with a Happy New Year theme! For kids ages 3 and up, $15/artist, $6 for siblings. 

5:00 PM – Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo – Wildlights is included in your admission (or membership) to the Zoo and features special activities, amazing lights, light shows, Rudolph and friends in Asia Quest, Santa’s Holiday Home in the Battelle Ice Bear Outpost, Jingle Ball light display and much more!

SATURDAY

9:00 AM – New Albany Indoor Farmers Market at Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany – this indoor market includes live music, vendors, food trucks, and locally grown produce and goods!

10:00 AM – Storytime at Grange Insurance Audubon Center – enjoy a nature based story time for preschoolers!

10:00 AM – Blacklick Woods: Winter Hike at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – take a 2 or 4 mile hike through the woods. Hot drinks and snackswill be provided. Bring 4 non perishable items or a $5 donation to Mid Ohio Food Bank and receive a Metro Parks mug!

10:00 AM – Nature Playdates at Sunbury Urban Farm – this play date includes a 30 minute nature activity and a free play time in the woods. Recommended for ages 5-8. $5 donation suggested.

10:00 AM – Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange at Old Worthington Library – bring a jigsaw puzzle to trade in for a new one!

10:00 AM – Kids Club Fuzzy Snow Friends at Michaels Stores – kids 3 and up can make a fuzzy snowman. $5/project.

11:00 AM – Sensory Storytime at Sycamore Plaza Library – this is a class specifically for children with special needs that will feature dim lights, quite music, fidget toys and more accommodations. It will include books, songs, movement and other sensory activities!

11:00 AM – Ready for Kindergarten Family Storytime at Main Library – the whole family can enjoy books and activities that will help get your preschooler ready for Kindergarten!

1:00 PM – MAKEBREAK Snowman Mason Jar at Michaels Stores – buy a jar and supplies will be provided to make a snowman!

2:00 PM – Feed the Stream at Battelle Darby Nature Center – give the fish worms and crickets and watch them eat! Meet at the Nature Center.

2:00 PM – Go WILD! Kids Club: Off-trail Hike at Sharon Woods Metro Park – explore the Natural Play area on a 1 mile hike! Recommended for ages 5-12 and their caregivers.

5:00 PM – Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo – Wildlights is included in your admission (or membership) to the Zoo and features special activities, amazing lights, light shows, Rudolph and friends in Asia Quest, Santa’s Holiday Home in the Battelle Ice Bear Outpost, Jingle Ball light display and much more!

6:00 PM – Hilltop Art Hop – explore the art district of The Hilltop with featured artists, live music, coffee, snacks and more! 

6:30 PM – For Families: Lantern Stroll at Highbanks Metro Park – carry lanterns on a 1 mile hike on the Dripping Rock Trail.

SUNDAY

10:00 AM – Community Days at Franklin Park Conservatory – on the first Sunday of each month, Franklin Park Conservatory is free for residents of Franklin County and the City of Columbus (with valid ID) during regular operating hours.

11:00 AM – Simon + Friends Sensory Friendly Open Play at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – this special play time will be sensory friendly with dim lights, quiet play and a less busy environment. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

5:00 PM – Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo – Wildlights is included in your admission (or membership) to the Zoo and features special activities, amazing lights, light shows, Rudolph and friends in Asia Quest, Santa’s Holiday Home in the Battelle Ice Bear Outpost, Jingle Ball light display and much more!
