1. Honoring Veterans All Month Long with Seeds of Caring
Memorial Day isn’t until the end of May, but Seeds of Caring will be honoring Veterans all month with our Anywhere letter-writing project. Thanks to our partners at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, service men and women all over Ohio will receive appreciation cards from our community of kind kids. 2. COSI Science Festival
This festival features a variety of events around town during May 4-6 and then the Big Science Celebration on May 7th at COSI. The Big Science Celebration takes place on May 7 from 11am – 4pm on the riverfront surrounding COSI and includes STEM activities and many local exhibitors with a fun science focus!
3. Mosaic Art Class At Brush Crazy
Friday May 6th at 6:30pm learn how to make a mosaic! The mosaic can be made on either wood or ceramic for a one of a kind piece of art! Reservations and price are in the link above.

4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back At The Ohio Theatre
Friday May 6th at 8pm visit The Ohio Theatre to see a full length screening of the Star Wars film The Empire Strikes Back, accompanied by the Columbus Symphony. Pricing and tickets are available in the link.
5. Birds, Blooms & Breakfast At Stratford Ecological Center
Saturday May 7th starting bright and early at 6am visit the Stratford Ecological Center for a morning of birding, blooms and breakfast! Bright and early is when it’s prime time for birding but if you would like to wait until later in the morning, 8am is still a fine time to get in all of the sights and sounds of the spring birds! 6. Green On The Green At Worthington Village Green
Saturday May 7th at 8am visit Worthington Village Green, to celebrate all things green! This event is focused on eco conscious, green and healthy alternatives for everyday living! Reduce, reuse, recycle and rethink on how to live more consciously about our environment. There will be something for everyone in the family to see and learn at this event on living more sustainably.

7. Mom & Me 5K At Glacier Ridge
Celebrate those moms and motherly figures in your life Saturday May 7th at 9am visit Glacier Ridge Metro Park for a 5K loop on a paved path through the park. This event is for all ages and is not timed. Recieve a medal at the end!
8. Unicorns Story Time! At Canvas Creations For You
Visit Canvas Creations For You on Saturday May 7th at 10:30am for a fun unicorn themed storytime. There will be unicorn horns to wear, unicorn themed books will be read and even a craft at the end! All ages are welcome!
9. Hip-Hop Ademics: Rapping Kids Into Learning At Miller Park
Saturday May 7th at 10:30am visit Miller Park Library for a fun show that includes entertainment and learning! Brian Holland will be here with his original songs, games and prizes to entertain and engage all! This event will be held outdoors with weather permitting. This show is recommended for ages 3-8.

10. Mother’s Day Flower Craft At Franklin Park Conservatory
Starting at 11am on Saturday May 7th, visit Franklin Park Conservatory for a special Mother’s Day flower craft. Decorate a flower pot and plant a flower in it for that special lady in your life! This craft is an additional $3.

11. Author Visit Karina Yan Glaser At Tremont Library
Saturday May 7th at 11am visit Tremont Library to meet and listen to children’s author Karina Yan Glasser, who will be talking about her newest book A Duet For Home and her best selling series The Vanderbeekers. This event is in partnership with Cover to Cover Books, who will also be available on site for selling Ms.Glaser’s books.
12. Free Comic Book Day 2022 At Comic Town
Starting at noon visit Comic Town on Saturday May 7th for free comic book day! See the link above for updates and featured guests for free comic book day!
13. Spring STEAM at Worthington Library
Saturday May 7th at 1pm visit the Worthington Library for a fun and messy time at Spring STEAM! This event will have diy catapults, rocket launching and creating bug motels. Dress for a messy good time! This event is recommended for ages 4-11.
14. Free Kraft-N-Play At The Dublin Library
Visit the Dublin library on Saturday May 7th at 1pm for a Mother’s Day themed craft! At this event there will be a ribbon dancer craft and plenty of hands on STEAM activities. Reservations are required for this event.

15. iNaturalist 101 At Battelle Darby Creek
Download the iNaturalist app on your smartphone and head out to Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on Saturday May 7th at 2pm for a short hike around the park to identify living things with your smartphone.
16. Painting With Mom At Homestead Public House In Delaware
Head out to Homestead Public House on Saturday May 7th at 4pm for some painting with mom! Work on a canvas together to create a special piece of art. Tickets and pricing are available in the link.

17. Mother’s Day Musical Performance At Franklin Park Conservatory
