9:00 AM – Pixies & Pumpkins at Lynd Fruit Farm – pixie crunch apples and pumpkins are available for picking this weekend and Lynd Fruit Farm!

10:00 AM – Pickerington Pop Up Shop of Clothing, Toys & More – shop for gently used children’s clothing, toys, books, maternity clothes, baby gear and more! Check the link for all the times and details!

11:00 AM – Apple Picking at Cherry Hawk Farm – lots of apples for picking plus a sunflower field are ready at Cherry Hawk Farm!

3:00 PM – Jurassic Quest at Greater Columbus Convention Center – this dinosaur themed event includes crafts, a dinosaur exhibit, science stations, Dino theater and more!

4:00 PM – Columbus Caribbean Festival on The Scioto Mile – this free festival celebrates Caribbean cultures and includes live music, food, dancing and fun for the whole family!

5:00 PM – Grandview Oktoberfest at Hofbrauhaus Columbus – this festival goes on all weekend and includes cream puff eating contests, live music and family entertainment!

6:00 PM – Family Bingo Night at Tree of Life Play + Cafe – every Friday in September is Family Bingo Night!

6:30 PM – Mother/Son Superhero Party! at Hilliard/Ray Patch Family YMCA – this fun party includes inflatables, a costume contest, games, snacks and more! Membership is not required to attend.

6:45 PM – Screen on the Green: The Princess Bride at Goodale Park – watch The Princess Bride at sunset in Goodale Park! There will be food trucks available!

7:00 PM – Franklinton Fridays in Franklinton Arts District – Franklinton Fridays support local artists with various activities and performances including including an Open House at Idea Foundry and Franklinton Fridays Music Series.

7:00 PM – Mary Poppins JR at Columbus Children’s Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly performance of Mary Poppins! The performance is one hour long with no intermission. Recommended for all ages.

7:30 PM – Sunset Cinema – Coco at Polaris Fashion Place – watch an outdoor movie at Polaris! This week’s film is COCO and the movie starts at 8:00 PM. There will be free activities beforehand, beginning at 7:30 PM.

SATURDAY

7:00 AM – POP UP! Fall Clothing and Equipment Sale at Resolute Athletic Complex – shop this large consignment sale hosted by The Columbus Mothers of Twins Club! General admission starts at 8:00 AM but you can get in at 7:00 AM with a $2 donation to charity.

9:00 AM – Wings and Wheels Fly In at Marion Airport – this fly-in just one hour from Columbus, includes food trucks, biplane rides, pedal plane races, NASA astronauts (Saturday), flight simulators, helicopter rides and more!

9:00 AM – Westgate Farmers Market – enjoy vendors, live music, activities for kids and produce and a food truck!

9:00 AM – The Haunted Maze at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this scary maze is free during regular business hours! It is recommended that parents escort younger or sensitive children.

9:00 AM – 2018 Delaware County Fair – the Delaware County Fair includes animals, rides, vendors, a tractor pull, demonstrations, performances and more! The Fair runs from September 15-22, 2018.

9:30 AM – Youth Saturdays: Canvas Painting (Aged 5 & up) at Bryn Du Art Center – kids ages 5 and up can paint their own canvas! Different techniques will be integrated but it is a time for free painting! $25/artist. Register by 9/14.

9:30 AM – Arts in the Alley 2018 in Grove City – this annual event includes a parade, marching band performances, live music, arts and crafts, a fine arts show and more!

10:00 AM – Pioneer Day at City of Reynoldsburg Livingston House – Pioneer Day includes a step back in time to participate in and watch grain grinding, combing wool, tree tapping, making dough, games and puzzles, sack races, costumes and more!

10:00 AM – Storytime LIVE! Hang Out with Curious George and Pinkalicious at Kiddie Academy of Hilliard – this is a free story time featuring Curious George and Pinkalicious! RSVP online.

10:00 AM – Jazz Academy Kids Club at Jazz Academy – the Jazz Academy Kids Club in an opportunity for kids to learn about jazz and American music! Kids can play along, jump, sing and dance to different styles of music while learning about jazz musicians and participating in other activities!

10:30 AM – September Grown-Up & Me Art: Hoot Hoot! at Art with Anna – kids ages 3 and up can join an adult to make a kid-friendly art project! $15/couple. $5 per additional artist.

10:30 AM – Yankee Peddler Festival at Clay’s Park Resort – step back into pioneer America to enjoy a family friendly festival featuring crafters and artists, vendors, samples of colonial food, demonstrations and more!

11:00 AM – Pirates & Princesses at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio – the play area at The Ronald McDonald House will be transformed into a fantasy land! Kids can dress up as a pirate or princess, enjoy food, a fairy tale make over, photo booth, games, activities, face painting, royalty training and more! Tickets are available online.

1:00 PM – Open Barn Days 2018 at Sunrise Sanctuary – visit the animals being rehabilitated at Sunrise Sanctuary during this once a month open hours! Adult admission is $!0, kids are $5 and limited tickets are available.

6:00 PM – OSU Football at the Fountains at Hilliard’s Station Park – watch the OSU game on the big screen in Hilliard’s Station Park! Bring your own chair, enjoy food trucks and kids can splash in the fountains!

8:15 PM – Movie Series – Black Panther at Highbanks Metro Park – watch Black Panther in the park! Bring your own seating. Popcorn will be provided! Recommended for ages 8 and up.

1:00 PM – Harrison West Jazz Stage – Flippo  in Harrison Park – enjoy a free jazz concert in the gazebo. There’s room for blankets and seats plus a playground for kids. There will be a food truck on site as well.

2:00 PM – Bugs & Blooms at Blacklick Woods Metro Park – families can take a 2 mile walk to look for wildflowers and insects.

2:00 PM – Pumpkin Painting Craft-ernoon at Sticky Fingers Ice Cream Parlor – paint a pumpkin and enjoy an ice cream treat! $10/person.

3:30 PM – Mary Poppins JR at Columbus Children’s Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly performance of Mary Poppins! The performance is one hour long with no intermission. Recommended for all ages.
