1. 2022 Obetz Zucchinifest At Fortress Obetz

2. All In A Day’s Work At Slate Run Metro Park

This Friday, September 2nd through Monday, September 5th visit Slate Run Metro Park for an exciting weekend of learning what life and occupations were like way back in the 19th century. Games and displays will enhance this learning experience for all ages. See link for times and listing of events.

3. The 49th Annual Greek Festival At The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral

Live the Greek life this Friday, September 2nd through Monday, September 5th at The 49th Annual Greek Festival. Held in the Short North, visit the beautiful Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral for all things Greek! Music, dancing and of course the food! There’s something for everyone at this great festival! 4. Van Wert County Fair

This Labor Day Weekend Friday, September 2nd through Monday, September 5th take a road trip out to the Van Wert County Fair. This fair has all of the great food, entertainment, carnival rides, farm animals and fun that you can expect at a great county fair! See link for tickets, times and pricing.

5. St. Michael Festival In Worthington

This Friday, September 2nd through Sunday, September 4th head over to the St. Michael Festival in Worthington! This festival features all of the fun, food, festival games, rides and entertainment right around the corner in Worthington! See link for tickets, event times and pricing.

6. 2022 Millersport Sweet Corn Festival

This Friday, September 2nd and Saturday, September 3rd visit Millersport, Ohio for the 2022 Millersport Sweet Corn Festival! This great festival has a daily list of fun events to enjoy, along with great food, entertainment, games, rides, corn eating contests, tractor pulls and more! 7. Start a Book Drive: Countdown to National Literacy Month  

You can put books in the hands of kids in need right here in Central Ohio! Now is the perfect time for your family, team, troop, or neighborhood to start a Seeds of Caring Book Drive benefiting the local, kid-founded Read to Succeed Foundation. Through September 30, kids ages 2-12 can celebrate National Literacy Month by making bookmarks and collecting gently used books for Columbus families served by NNEMAP Food Pantry. 

8. Dinosaur Themed Scavenger Hunt At Lane Road Library

Friday, September 2nd all day visit the Lane Road library for a fun dinosaur themed scavenger hunt! Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the youth desk and turn it in when you are done for a prize! This event is for all ages.

9. IKEA Festival: IKEA HeroProduct Matching Game

Friday, September 2nd starting at 5:30pm visit IKEA to kick off the IKEA Festival with a fun product matching game. Start at the beginning of the store and get a game card, then travel through the store to collect stickers to make a match and win a prize!

10. Rhythm On The River-An Evening Of Dance With BalletMet At Bicentennial Park

This Friday, September 2nd visit Bicentennial Park for Rhythm On The River With BalletMet. This free event starts at 8pm but come early if you like and dine at one of the great food trucks that will be lined up and ready to serve dinner starting at 5pm. Be sure to pack your chairs and picnic blankets for this great evening under the stars! 

11. Ohio Renaissance Festival

This weekend starting on Saturday, September 3rd marks the beginning of the Ohio Renaissance Festival! This great festival features a 16th century village filled with entertainment, food, drinks, shopping and fun for all! See link for tickets, times and pricing.

12. 2022 Canal Winchester Labor Day Festival

This weekend Saturday, September 3rd through Monday, September 5th visit the oldest and largest Labor Day festival in all of Ohio! The 2022 Canal Winchester Labor Day Festival features all kinds of family fun including carnival rides, ice cream social, animals from the Columbus Zoo, musical performances and a Labor Day parade! 13. Ohio Cup Vintage Base Ball Festival At Ohio Village

Saturday, September 3rd and Sunday, September 4th visit Ohio Village for a moment back in time. 25+ vintage base ball teams will gather and play on the fields of Ohio Village for some old fashioned fun and rules of the 1860’s. See link for tickets, times and pricing.

14. TRI The Heights In Grandview Heights

Saturday, September September 3rd at 8am visit the city of Grandview Height for TRI The Heights. This youth triathlon will take place at the municipal pool, the city streets and Wyman Woods. Swim, ride a bike and run! See link for times and details. 

15. Bikes To Art Festival At Granville Public Library

Saturday, September 3rd starting at 9:30am visit the Granville Public Library for Bikes To Art Festival. Bring your bike and get ready to make it into art with provided materials. Once you have customized your bike, the parade to put it on display starts at 11am. Followed by food, music and awards outside the Robbins Hunter Museum.

16. Storytime With Maryan Liban At Cover To Cover

This Saturday, September 3rd at 10am visit Cover To Cover bookstore for a storytime with Maryan Liban. This lively storytime will be sure to delight all!

17. IKEA Festival: Soft Toy Treasure Hunt

Saturday, September 3rd At 10am visit IKEA for a Soft Toy Scavenger Hunt! Pick up a map at the entrance and look for all of the soft toys hiding to check off. Bring back your map for a prize! This event is for kids ages 12 and under. This event is free, but registration is required.

18. Saturday Storytime At Westerville Public Library

This Saturday, September 3rd starting at 10:30am visit the Westerville Public Library for a morning of stories, songs and rhymes that are fun for the whole family! This event is free but registration is required. See link for details.

19. Bird Walk At Blendon Woods Metro Park

Sunday, September 4th at 8am visit Blendon Woods Metro Park for a morning of searching for different native birds. Learn techniques for locating and ID’ing birds in the wild. Bring binoculars if you have them!

20. Community Day At Franklin Park Conservatory

This Sunday, September 4th is Community Day at Franklin Park Conservatory! Enjoy all of the great things Franklin Park Conservatory has to see with your Columbus or Franklin county ID. The conservatory opens at 10am.

21. Macro Photography Workshop At Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park

This Sunday, September 4th at 4pm visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park for an afternoon of honing in on your photography skills. Bring your camera where you will learn how to take pictures of tiny objects like flowers and insects.

22. 2022 Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival

This Labor Day Monday, September 5th starting at 10am visit Northam Park for the Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival. Hands-on art activities, live music, concessions and fine art are all here at the Labor Day Arts festival.
