10:00 AM – Grand Opening Ceremony at LEGOLAND Discovery Center (Columbus) – the new LEGOLAND Discovery Center opens to the public this weekend at Easton Town Center! The Grand Opening Ceremony includes a children’s parade and an “unconventional” ribbon cutting. The ceremony will take place in front of the attraction and is open to the public but you will need tickets if you want to enter the attraction afterwards.
11:00 AM – Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Young’s Jersey Dairy – Young’s Dairy is offering pick your own pumpkins this weekend! Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

3:00 PM – Ohio Wizard of Oz Festival at Longwood Park – take a road trip this weekend to experience this festival with a Wizard of Oz theme featuring performances, a car show, coloring contest, breakfast with Dorothy and much more! Tickets are $7 at the gate or $5 with a donation of 2 cans to the Akron Regional Food Bank.
5:00 PM – Family Friday Night at COSI – COSI stays open late tonight with reduced admission after 5:00 PM.
5:00 PM – BUMP Carnival at BUMP/Bexley United Methodist Preschool – this carnival includes pony rides, carnival games, princesses and super heroes, inflatables food and more!
5:00 PM – Children’s Day at Columbus’ Dynamic Hands-On Science Center! – children and families involved with Franklin County Children’s Services will receive free admission to COSI exhibits. There will be local musicians, local mascots, and local vendors and resources.
6:00 PM – 4th Fridays on the Lawn at Westerville Public Library – this event takes place on the front lawn of the Library while 4th Friday is going on! This Friday’s theme is Apple Tasting! Try different apple samples from Lynd Fruit Farm and hear stories about Johnny Appleseed!
6:00 PM – Westerville 4th Friday in Uptown Westerville – local businesses and restaurants stay open late for 4th Friday in Uptown Westerville. This month’s theme is Farm in the City and there will be street vendors, food trucks and the chance to learn about farming and how dinner gets to your table!

Pumpkin Picking and Hayrides at Kuhlweins Farm Market & Deli – Fall Fun at Kuhlweins Market and Deli includes a hayride, animal zoo, corn maze and pumpkin picking! Inflatables, pony rides, balloon twisting and face painting on the weekends!
Great Pumpkin Fun Center at Pigeon Roost – Pigeon Roost features a pumpkin patch, farm animals and The Great Pumpkin Fun Center with giant slides, mazes, a fort, play areas, and tons more! Weekends include wagon rides, face painting, crafters and concessions!
Fall Fun Days at Circle S Farms – This farm is one of the few open during the week! Fall Fun Days feature hayrides, pumpkin picking, farm market, petting zoo, corn and sunflower mazes, bale cave and more!
Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – At Lynd Fruit Farm you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and enjoy the farm market on its own or also head over to the giant corn maze where there is also a barrel train, fun zone, bounce house, wagons rides and more!
The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek features a huge corn maze plus a cow train, barnyard bouncer, petting zoo, kiddie maze, ball zone, slides, laser tag, pedal carts, kids fun barn, tether ball and more! Hayrides are also available!
Fall Farm Fun at Leeds Farm – Leeds Farm is open six weekends only through October 28 with hayrides, farm animals, farm pond, pumpkins and gourds! Fall Fun Festival at Dill’s Greenhouse – Fall festivals are happening on the weekends, September 29 – October 31, 2017. Hayrides, corn maze, fire pit and hotdogs and s’mores for roasting (bring your own or purchase there), straw maze, sand box, pumpkins, games and activities!

8:00 AM – The Naz Fall Resale at The Naz – shop for gently used clothing, baby equipment, maternity clothes and more at this consignment sale!
8:00 AM – Pumpkin Painting Workshop at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – kids can paint their own pumpkin for $2/pumpkin! No registration required.
8:00 AM – Fall Bird Walk at Char Mar Nature Preserve – take a walk through the park to look for birds. Binoculars will be available. This is a free event recommended for kids ages 7 and up.
9:00 AM – Run Like a Girl on the Scioto Mile – This race (for women only) offers 3 distances: 10 Milke, 10 K and 5K and also includes a Future Olympian Kids Run (100 yard dash) for kids 9 and under! 9:00 AM – Open House at Run the Race Farm- this 8 acre farm in West Jefferson is run by The Brian Muha Foundation which gives kids from the Hilltop neighborhood an opportunity to experience farm life! The farm is open on select Saturdays to the public for a chance to see and pet the animals including chickens, ducks, geese, goats, rabbits, sheep, pigs, quail, dogs and more! There’s also an orchard, beehive, nature trails, a tree house, small zipline, climbing walls, swings and more!
9:00 AM – The Haunted Maze at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center – this scary maze is free during regular business hours at Hoover Gardens through October 31st. Parents use your best judgement and consider escorting younger children through the maze!
9:00 AM – The Dublin Market at Bridge Park – enjoy a farmers market that includes vendors, food trucks, live music and more!
9:00 AM – HOMAGE Gamedays at HOMAGE Easton Town Center and HOMAGE Short North – enjoy free donuts from Buckeye Donuts, coffee and special deals on Saturday mornings for each Buckeye game this season!
9:30 AM – Expo & Family Fun Day! at Grove City YMCA – this family EXPO and Fun Day includes touch a truck, bounce houses, Columbus Zoo animals, food trucks, group exercise classes, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, crafts plus local businesses and organizations. Free for members or $5/person and $20/family for non members.
10:00 AM – Fun-Tember Fest at the Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm – this family fun day supports the Salvation Army and includes a Family Fun Cornstalk Walk, characters, a mini maze, bounce houses, crafts, Cosmic Kids Yoga, barrel Train and more! Tickets range from $3-$10.
10:00 AM – Chalk the Block 2018 at Easton Town Center – artists will be creating chalk drawings on the pavement at Easton Town Center. On Saturdays you can watch the artists at work and enjoy live musical performances. Come back on Sunday to see the finished works of art!
10:00 AM – TWIG Pumpkinpalooza at Emswiler Farms – this is the 10th annual Pumpkinpalooza benefitting Nationwide Children’s Hospital! The day includes food, hayrides, games, a balloon artist, pumpkin patch, bounce houses, face painting, carousel and much more! The event is free but there is a wristband required for many of the activities.
10:00 AM – Cheryl’s 2018 Fall Festival at Cheryl’s Cookies and Brownies – this free festival includes a hay slide, obstacle course, pumpkin bowling, face painting, cookie frosting and much more! There will be a balloon twister and visits from Westerville Police and Fire! The first 50 customers get a free gift.
