1. Columbus Oktoberfest At Ohio Expo Center

This weekend Friday September 9th through Sunday September 11th visit the Ohio Expo Center for Columbus Oktoberfest! Come out for great food, music, dancing, live entertainment and don’t forget to visit the natural resources area for KinderPlatz, a kids area with plenty of activities to enjoy. Admission is free! 2. 2022 Bobcat Boosters Ox Roast At Pierce Field

Friday September 9th and Saturday September 10th is the 2022 Bobcat Boosters Ox Roast held at Pierce Field in Grandview Heights. Come out and enjoy all of the great games, rides, live entertainment and concessions. A great way to kick off the weekend with a local favorite festival! 3. 2022 Lithopolis Honeyfest At The Wagnalls Memorial Library

Friday September 9th and Saturday September 10th visit The Wagnalls Memorial Library for the 2022 Lithopolis Honeyfest! Great music, food, kids activities and of course honey! 

4. Campout At Sugarbush At Blendon Woods

Friday September 9th and Saturday September 10th head on over to Blendon Woods Metro Park to enjoy their on site camp facility Sugarbush! Bring your tent and enjoy a camping adventure in the city! See link for times and details. Registration is required.

5. Through 9/11: Make Cards and Snacks for Neighbors in Need

Bring joy to local senior citizens experiencing loneliness, right from your own home! Follow the Seeds of Caring discussion guide to help kids learn about empathy and the importance of intergenerational relationships. Then work together to pack snack bags and decorate cheer cards for the senior clients of the Clintonville/Beechwold Community Resources Center (CRC). 

6. Friday Fun At Worthington Library

This Friday September 9th at 10am visit the Old Worthington Library for a morning of stories, rhymes, music and movement. This event is recommended for preschoolers and younger.

7. Amazing Race: Outdoor Edition At Infirmary Mound Park 

Friday September 9th at 5:30pm visit Infirmary Mound Park for an evening of completing the Amazing Race! This event features canoeing, solving puzzles and having fun being on a team. This event is recommended for teens in 7th grade through 12th grade. Registration is required, see link for details.

8. Beavercreek Popcorn Festival 

Saturday September 10th and Sunday September 11th visit the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival for all of the great food, entertainment, vendors and popcorn! See link for list of details and times.

9. A Visit From The Farm At Miller Park

Saturday September 10th at 10am stop by Miller Park Library  to meet some farm animals. Ducks, sheep, rabbits, goats, turkeys, chickens and a pig will all be here to visit with. This event is recommended for ages 2 and up.

10. Old Hillardfest

This festival takes place in downtown Hilliard on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and features live music, food, games for kids, local organizations and it is free to attend!

11. Ohio Fire Marshal Festival 

This Saturday September 10th celebrate our courageous Ohio firefighters with a visit to the Ohio Fire Marshal Festival. This free event is full of fun fire safety activities for all. See fire dogs training, use a fire hose for a kiddie combat challenge, bounce houses, face painting and more! See link for details.

12. PBJ & Jazz At Topiary Park

Saturday September 10th at Noon, visit the Topiary Park for PBJ & Jazz. This free event will feature Big Band Jazz to send off the summer.

13. Scratch Jr. Family Day At Worthington Park Library

Saturday September 10th at 4pm visit Worthington Park Library for an afternoon of making your very own interactive stories and games using the Scratch Jr. program. This event is intended for kids ages 6-8.

14. Chihuly Nights At Franklin Park Conservatory 

Saturday September 10th at 7pm visit Franklin Park Conservatory for a majestic evening of enjoying all of the illuminated Chihuly sculptures. See link for tickets and details of this special event.

15. Full Harvest Moon Hike At Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park

Saturday September 10th starting at 7:30pm visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park for a brisk 4-mile hike through the forest and fields under a moonlit sky.

16. Outdoor Inclusive Adventures 2022 At Darby Bend Lakes

Sunday September 11th starting at 11am visit Darby Bend Lakes within Prairie Oaks Metro Park for Outdoor Inclusive Adventures 2022. Outdoor fun and physical activities that are fun for everyone! This event is free, but registration is required. See link for details.

17. 2022 Merion Village Festival At Moeler Park

Sunday September 11th starting at Noon visit Moeler Park for the 2022 Merion Village Festival. Artists, crafters, live music and entertainment, food trucks and retailers will all be here rain or shine to celebrate historic Merion Village.
