1. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory
Walk through hundreds of butterflies inside the Pacific Island Water Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory. In the Metamorphosis Lab, you can watch butterflies emerge from their chrysalises. This activity is included in general admission and takes place daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM through July 5, 2026.
2. Mythic Creatures at COSI
Learn about the natural and cultural roots of mythological creatures from Asia, Europe, the Americas and beyond at this temporary exhibit at COSI. This exhibit will be on display through September 7th and is included in general admission during daily COSI hours (generally Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
3. Photos with Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place
Visit with the Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place through April 4. You can book your reservation online or just walk up. All kids 13 and under will receive a coupon for a free small gelato from I Scream Gelato while supplies last. Check the link for exact hours because they change as Easter gets closer. You can also register for a Sensory Bunny event on March 15th.
4. Spring Big Book Sale at Columbus Metropolitan Library
The Friends of the Library will host their Spring Big Book Sale at the Main Library this weekend. General hours are Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sunday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Shop for withdrawn library items including books, DVDs, CD’s and more. On Sunday, fill a bag for $5. Prices start at $1/item.
5. Kid’s Service Project at Whitehall Library
Join Seeds of Caring and National Veterans Memorial Museum to assemble hygiene kits at the Whitehall Branch of CML on Friday from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM. Ages 7-11.
6. Bunny Hop in Downtown Hilliard
Head to Downtown Hilliard for the annual Bunny Hop on Saturday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Bring a basket to collect candy and trinkets from Hilliard businesses and meet the Easter Bunny in Hilliard’s Station Park.

7. The City’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt at KIA Performance Center
This Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday at 10:00 AM sharp at Kingdom Image Arts. Kids will be separated into age groups. This event is free but registration is required.
8. Easter at the Barn
Register in advance for this free Easter Egg Hunt at the Barn on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. There will be visits with the Easter Bunny, a Clydesdale carriage ride, petting zoo, bounce house, crafts and more. Donations to Children of Valor will be accepted for certain activities. Food trucks will also be onsite.
9. Easter Hop at Hillcrest Baptist Church
Families can enjoy the Easter story then “hop” from trunk to trunk to collect eggs, candy and prizes at Hillcrest Baptist Church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM.
10. Rock & Gem Easter Egg Hunt at Olentangy Caverns
Register in advance for this Easter Egg Hunt featuring rocks and gems at Olentangy Caverns on Saturday at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Each participant gets a cloth keepsake bag for their new rock collection.

11. Bark & Browse at The Wag
This pop-up market takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at The Wag and features local makers, artists, small businesses, food trucks, live music and pet-friendly partners. The Easter Bunny will also be on site for photos.
12. Hair Fair at Whitehall Library
Celebrate the diversity of Hair with Barbershop Books at the Whitehall Library on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. There will be free haircut vouchers for kids, refreshments, a hair-themed storytime, hands-on activities and more.
13. Feed the Stream at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park
Feed the Living Stream at the Nature Center at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park with a Naturalist on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. All ages.

14. Meet the Author: Kit the Keystone at Blacklick Woods Metro Park
Meet author Jess Leibson and listen to a reading from her book Kit the Keystone at Beech Maple Lodge at Blacklick Woods Metro Park on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Recommended for ages 5-11.
15. Easter Bunny Visit and Easter Egg Hunt in the Pool at the Hilltop YMCA
Visit with the Easter Bunny and then hunt for eggs in the pool at the Hilltop YMCA on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
16. Nerf Royale at Quarry Trails Metro Park
All equipment will be provided for a Nerf Battle at Quarry Trails Metro Park on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Meet at the Dog Park. Ages 13 and up.
17. Community Puzzle Swap & Race at Southeast Library
Families can participate in a puzzle race, work on a community puzzle and trade gently used puzzles at this event on Saturday from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Southeast Branch of CML.
18. Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny Experience at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Meet the Easter Bunny and an Egg Ambassador in a sensory-friendly environment at the Columbus Zoo on Sunday, beginning at 10:00 AM through 2:00 PM. Tickets are required and are limited. Zoo admission and parking are not included with your ticket.
19. Grove City Parks & Rec Winter Movie Series at Beulah Pavilion
You have two chances to watch a movie at the Beulah Pavilion on Sunday. Beauty & the Beast will be shown at 11:00 AM and A Minecraft Movie will be shown at 4:30 PM. Each movie will be preceded by crafts and activities. These movies are free to attend, but registration is required.

20. House of Sport Climbing Eggstravaganza
Hunt for Easter Eggs on the rock climbing wall at Dick’s House of Sport on Sunday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. There will be candy, prizes and more. Kids and beginners are welcome at this free event. Sign up online for your desired timeslot.
21. Baby Buckeyes at Westerville Public Library
Visit with author John Biemer and hear a reading from his book Baby Buckeyes at the Westerville Public Library on Sunday at 2:00 PM. There will also be photo ops with Brutus Buckeye. Books will be available for purchase.
22. ProMusica Family Concert at Gahanna Library
Enjoy a free, kid-friendly concert by ProMusica Chamber Orchestra at the Gahanna Branch of CML on Sunday at 3:00 PM.

23. Make this month all about moms! Care kits through April 19
Help kids spread kindness in our community by making Mother’s Day Care Kits for moms staying at the Van Buren Family Shelter! Our free Seeds of Caring service packet includes an easy-to-use guide to help you lead a kid-friendly conversation about kindness. Then helping hands will assemble kits with self-care items like a small journal, mints, and lip balm – plus a handmade note.
