1. Play Unstoppable Festival Event at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus

From March 23-May 12, 2024 at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus you can enjoy the new LEGO Friends 4D Movie, design your own flowers, enjoy dance parties, go on a MINILAND scavenger hunt, create a festival animal and more during the Play Unstoppable Festival Event. This event takes place during regular hours and is included with admission.

2. Mission: Kid Possible Nature Trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park

Complete mission activities on the Ripple Rock/Hickory Ridge Trail Loop at Blendon Woods to become a Nature Expert! Available during regular park hours throughout the whole month of April!

3. TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition at COSI

See over 200 authentic artifacts rescued from the wreckage site of Titanic including full-room recreations! There is an additional cost for this exhibit which will be available at COSI daily during regular hours through September 2, 2024. Reservations are strongly encouraged!

4. Blooms and Butterflies at Franklin Park Conservatory

Blooms and Butterflies is open at Franklin Park Conservatory! You can walk through the Pacific Island Water Garden to see free-flying butterflies. Check out the Metamorphosis Lab to see new butterflies emerge from their chrysalis. Daily hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

5. Get in the Game! Sports Gear Drive Through with Seeds of Caring

Help Seeds of Caring and Leveling the Playing Field expand access and equity within youth sports! Kids 2-12 will learn how sports keep our brains and bodies happy and complete an empathy-building exercise. Then helping hands will collect new and used sports equipment that will be distributed to local kids. This opportunity is available through May 19th.

6. Franklinton Night Market

This monthly, open street event takes place on Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and features shopping, live music, food tucks, and an open-air market.

7. Bingo Night at Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop

Head to Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop for a game of BINGO on Friday night from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Win prizes and treats!

8. Taylor Swift Album Release Skate at Skate Zone 71

There are two times for this event: Friday at 6:30 PM and Sunday at 1:00 PM. $28 VIP Ticket includes Admission, Skate Rental & SWIFTIE Bag or $12 Regular Admission with $6 Skate Rental. The event includes Swiftie Trivia, Swiftie Shop, & the NEW ALBUM all session long!

9. The House at Pooh Corner at The Wagnalls Memorial

Wagnalls Community Theater presents The House at Pooh Corner April 19-21 and April 26-28. Show times are 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday. Tickets are available online or at the door.

10. UNEXTINCT at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

On Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM explore a world of illusions and extraordinary wildlife at this special engagement event at the Columbus Zoo. There are 15 scenes to experience. Tickets are available online.

11. TownHall Weekend Brunch for Kids

Every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM enjoy a family-friendly brunch at TownHall that includes live magic shows, games, a kids’ menu and more. Seating is first come, first served.

12. Spring Open House at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center

Celebrate Spring and Earth Day with bounce houses, a food truck, live music, free tree saplings and more! This celebration takes place on both Saturday and Sunday and is free to attend. You can preregister for kids to paint a mini greenhouse for $30/each.

13. Sheep Shearing Day at Stratford Ecological Center

Learn about sheep shearing and learn about the process from start to finish on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Stratford Ecological Center! There will be educational stations, hands-on fiber projects, and fun activities to celebrate spring! You must register for this event and registration ends Friday at 9:00 AM.

14. MOPS Spring Parking Lot Resale at The Naz Church

Shop gently used maternity, baby and kids’ clothes, toys, and gear on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the south parking lot of The Naz. It’s free to shop!

15. Open Studio at Columbus Museum of Art

On Saturday from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM, stop into the Studio at Columbus Museum of Art for the opportunity to create! (Sensory hour is 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM). All ages are welcome and all supplies are included! April’s theme is Small Worlds and will feature the opportunity to create your own miniature universe!

16. 2024 Kids as Planet Protectors: An Earth Day Celebration at Grange Insurance Audubon Center

This event with Seeds of Caring includes activities for kids ages 2-12 such as upcycling activities, learning about composting and renewable energy, tree planting and more! There will be many community partners onsite. This event takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and registration is required!

17. Earth Day Celebration at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Celebrate Earth Day all weekend at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! This event will take place on Saturday and Sunday during regular hours and will feature live entertainment, activities, character ambassador meet and greets, educational opportunities, local organizations, a Party for the Planet, story times and more!

18. Comedy Juggler Matt Jergens at Pickerington Main Library

On Saturday from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM watch a one-man variety show by Comedy Juggler Matt Jergens featuring juggling, stunts, acrobatics and more!

19. Ohioana Book Festival at Columbus Metropolitan Library

This event features over 120 Ohio authors and illustrators and features book signings, author panels, a Kids’ Room, food trucks and more! Festival day is Saturday from 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM but there are also some events happening throughout the community before and after that day! See the schedule for all the events.

20. The Yard Milkshake Bar’s Two Year Anniversary Party

Celebrate two years of The Yard Milkshake Bar with face painting, giveaways, photo ops, swag bags and more on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM!

21. Westerville Art Hop

The Westerville Art Hop takes place on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM in Uptown Westerville. There is also a Kiddie Hop at the Civic Courtyard that will include music and art activities for kids.

22. Open Barn Days at Sunrise Sanctuary

Meet the 170+ animals at Sunrise Sanctuary on Open Barn Day, Saturday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Tickets need to be purchased in advance.

23. Princesses and Pirates Day at Columbus Clippers

Meet with your favorite princesses and pirates at the Columbus Clippers game vs. the Buffalo Bisons at 4:05 PM on Saturday. Kids can come dressed as your favorite princess or pirate!

24. C-Bus Comic Show Spectacular at The Clintonville Woman’s Club

Shop for comic books, magazines, Funko Pops and more from 14 vendors and special guests on Sunday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM! Admission is $2 for ages 9 and up. Concessions will be available onsite.

25. Babies and Bumps at Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris

On Sunday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM this event includes all kinds of info for new and soon-to-be parents including seminars, demonstrations, shopping, activities, giveaways and more.

26. Earth Day Celebration at Gallant Woods Park

This celebration includes a children’s concert by Banana Slug String Band, a food truck and other Earth Day activities on Sunday from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
