Family Friendly Things to do This Weekend in Columbus:

1. The Lyndiana Jones Corn Maze at Lynd Fruit Farm

Try out the Lyndiana Joes corn maze on Friday, Saturday or Sunday through October 29th at Lynd Fruit Farm. Hours are every Friday and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00-7:00 PM.

2. Protect Our Planet! September Park Clean-Up Activities with Seeds of Caring

Kids 2-12 can get outside and make a difference this fall with a free at-home activity from Seeds of Caring. Learn fun ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle before creating litter pick-up kits to use at your local park or playground, now through Oct. 1.

3. Our Village: No Mess Leaf Painting at Lazelle Woods Park

Join FIT4MOM Columbus North for a free playdate on Friday at 10:30 AM where kids can paint leaves!

4. Pickerington Oktoberfest at Combustion Brewery & Taproom

This is a two day festival taking place on Friday from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM and Saturday from 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM. This free event includes food trucks, live music, children’s games, contests, and more!

5. Cattitude Family Paint and Sip at Pinot’s Palette Short North

Kids and adults can paint a cat with attitude at Pinot’s Palette on Friday at 4:00 PM. No experience required. This class is designed for kids 7 and up. Tickets are available online.

6. Friday Night Street Fair in Clintonville

Enjoy food trucks, vendors, games and music in Clintonville on Friday night from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

7. Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Fourth Friday Festival in Uptown Westerville

Fourth Friday in Uptown Westerville includes, music, art, science, a concert by Trailer Park Ninjas, vendors and more! Time is 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday.

8. Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert at Palace Theatre

Sing along with the film Encanto with songs performed by a live band at Palace Theatre on Friday night at 7:00 PM! Use the discount code MIRABEL for 25% off through Thursday, September 21.

9. Fallapalooza at Hoover Gardens

Fallapalooza at Hoover Gardens & Gift Center includes a haunted maze, bounce houses, special sales, food trucks, games, giveaways, vendors and more! Hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Sunday.

10. Fall Celebration at Scheiderer Farms

This Fall Celebration takes place on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM with Rocky Mountain Coffee Truck and continues with 2 succulent pumpkin workshops one for adults and one for kids (registration required). There will be a food truck, live music, visits with donkeys and a horse and hayrides from 12-2.

11. Fall Festival at Olentangy Caverns

Enjoy a Fall Festival at Olentangy Caverns which includes pumpkins for sale, a scavenger hunt for kids on Saturday and Sunday, and draft horse hayrides on Saturday. Open daily from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

12. Storytime with Author Michelle Houts at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers

Meet Ohio author Michelle Houts and celebrate her picture book Hopefully the Scarecrow! This event takes place on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Cover to Cover.

13. Make a Mini Garden at 400 West Rich

Make a mini garden at 400 West Rich Street Studio. This class takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and is $5/person. Ideal for ages 7 and up with an adult. Tickets available online.

14. Autumn Arborfest at Alum Creek Park North

This free event takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and induces tree-related vendors, trees for purchase, tree climbing, a limb walk/swing, bucket truck rides and more!

15. Opening Weekend at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm

Saturday from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM is Opening Day at Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm. Enjoy a zip line, food, bull riding, Pumpkinville and more!

16. Hello Kitty Truck at Easton Town Center

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be at Easton Town Center on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, parked near Crate & Barrel where you can pick up treats and merch!

17. Harvest Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory

Saturday is opening day of Harvest Blooms at Franklin Park Conservatory. Harvest Blooms features thousands of pumpkins, mums, cabbages and more including two pumpkin houses! Included in general admission. Hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

18. Early Season Rate at Leeds Farm

Take advantage of the early season discount admission rate at Leeds Farm through Sept. 24! Ages 3-54 can get their ticket for $15 (includes $13 ticket and $2 service fee). Regular price is $20. Enjoy Pumpkin Plunge slide, Pumpkin Jumps, John Deere Combine Slide, Mountain Slides, Zip Lines and more at Leeds Farm!

19. Chalk the Block 12 at Easton Town Center

Featured artists will be drawing large scale, temporary chalk art on the pavement at Easton Town Center on Saturday throughout the day. There will also be live music! On Sunday, come back to see the finished art work!

20. Pioneer Day at Livingston House

Pioneer Day takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Learn about American life in the 1800’s through hands-on activities and demonstrations!

21. Fall Wagon Tours at Dawes Arboretum

Take a wagon ride through The Dawes Arboretum! Tickets are $5 per person and kids 5 and under are free. Admission is also required. Tours begin Saturday at 1:00 PM.

22. Ohio Buckeye Candy: A Sweet History at Bellebrook Candy Shoppe

Join local author Renee Casteel Cook as she talks about her book Ohio Buckeye Candy: A Sweet History at Bellbrook Chocolate Shoppe on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

23. Glacier’s 21st Birthday

Celebrate Glacier Ridge Metro Park’s 21st birthday with food, beverages, hayrides and more on Saturday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

24. Welcome to Fall at Highbanks Metro Park

This free event takes place on Saturday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and includes hayrides, archery, campfire and marshmallows, nature scavenger hunts, crafts, inflatables and more! Stay afterwards to watch Minions Rise of Gru at 8:15 PM.

25. Metro Parks Summer Movie Nights

Watch the movie Minions Rise of Gru at Highbanks Metro Park at dark (8:15 PM) on Saturday. Bring a chair or blanket!

26. Sunday Funday: Oktoberfest in Worthington

This family-friendly event takes place on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM and will include pretzels, beers, food specials, live music, games and entertainment! There will be a concert on the Village Green with The Shazzbots at 2:00 PM.

27. Open House at Paulettes Palace

This Open House takes place on Sunday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and includes a meet and greet with Elsa and Barbie, a mini princess class and mini barbie hip hop class. There will be giveaways, too! This is a free event but registration is required.

28. Petting Zoo at Lynd Fruit Farm

On Sunday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM there will be a petting zoo at the corn maze at Lynd Fruit Farm.

29. Mill Run Fall Fest

On Sunday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM enjoy food trucks, giant inflatables, face painting, pickle ball, music, a kite festival, food and more at UALC Mill Run Campus.

30. Music in the Garden at Old Town East Community Gardens

Enjoy a concert in the Olde Town East Community Gardens at 5:00 PM on Sunday featuring The Cicconetti Brothers.
