1. Dinovember Week at Grandview Heights Public Library
From November 5-11 Grandview Heights Public Library will have dinosaur-themed activities, crafts and activities available all day!
2. Make Cocoa & Cookie Kits for Broad Street Food Pantry
Get a head start on spreading holiday cheer by creating tasty Cocoa & Cookie-Making Kits for local families in need. Through Dec. 3, kids 2-12 can help Seeds of Caring and the Broad Street Food Pantry make sure every family can bake up delicious holiday memories with this simple Anywhere Project that can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!
3. Willy Wonka at Wagnalls Community Theater
Watch a performance of Ronald Dahl’s Willy Wonka at Wagnalls Community Theater. Performance times are 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday.
4. Columbus Bones Trombone Choir at Main Library
This concert in the Atrium at the Main Library on Saturday at 9:00 AM will feature a selection of patriotic songs performed by the Columbus Bones Trombone Choir.
5. Morning Chores at Slate Run Farm
Take part in the morning chores at Slate Run Farm on Saturday from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. Kids can feed the animals and help with other barnyard chores! Registration required.
6. Harvest Market at Bridge Park
This fall-themed market is family friendly and features live music, artisans, bakers, farmers and more! Hours are Saturday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
7. TORG Gaming Expo at Ohio Expo Center
This Gaming Expo takes place in the Bricker Building on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. It features over 400 vendor tables featuring video games, comics, toys, art and trading cards! There will be a KIDZONE, door prizes, special guests and more! Kids 10 and under are free and general and VIP tickets are available online.
8. WOSU Kids Day at the Columbus Museum of Art
Head to the Columbus Museum of Art on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for activities from WOSU like games, coloring, a caricature artist, and a meet and greet with Alma from Alma’s Way. This event is free but registration is required. Attendance will include free admission to the museum!
9. Fall Pop Up Toy Show at Bedlam Bricks
This Pop-Up Toy Show will feature vintage toy vendors at Bedlam Bricks on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
10. Veteran’s Day Ceremony and Free Admission at National Veterans Memorial and Museum
A free Veteran’s Day Ceremony will be held at National Veterans Memorial and Museum on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Registration is required for the ceremony. Admission to the museum is free all day on Saturday, November 11th.
11. STEM Fest at The Works
On Saturday, check out STEMfest at The Works and celebrate National STEAM Day with hands-on activities on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Activities are included with admission or membership.
12. For Families: Turkey Trek at Highbanks Metro Park
Take a 1 mile hike to learn about turkeys! Meet at the Nature Center at Highbanks Metro Park on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
13. Veteran’s Day Fishing Program at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park
Bring your favorite veteran fishing at Osprey Lake at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Poles, bait and campfire hot dogs will be provided while supplies last.
14. Miracle on Lancaster Street
Head to Millersport on Saturday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM for carriage rides, cookie decorating, caroling, special deals at local businesses and visits with Santa.
15. Fall Fishing at Blacklick Woods Metro Park
On Saturday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM fish in Ashton Pond at Blacklick Woods Metro Park. Registration is required. Fishing poles and bait will be provided.
16. S’more Nature at Blendon Woods Metro Park
On Saturday from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM meet at the Blendon Woods Nature Center to roast marshmallows and learn about how animals prepare for winter.
17. Sensory Bin Experience at Whetstone Library
Kids with sensory needs can explore bins filled with tactile materials at the Whetstone Library on Saturday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This event will feature a welcoming environment for kids ages 3-11.
18. LEGO Club at Grove City Library
Kids in grades K-5 can take part in LEGO challenge or free LEGO play at the Grove City Library on Saturday from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
19. Fall Craft at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park
Meet at Battelle Darby Creek Nature Center to create a craft with fallen leaves on Sunday from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
20. ProMusica Family Concert at Main Library
ProMusica will give a free concert at the Main Library at 3:00 PM on Sunday. This will be a family friendly concert with a display of books to enjoy, too!
