Looking for something fun to do this weekend in Columbus? Try out one of these family-friendly Columbus and Ohiobased events and activities!

1. Blippi The Musical at Palace Theatre

Blippi the Musical is coming to Columbus on Friday night at 6:00 PM! Recommended for kids ages 2-7, the show will feature singing and dancing! A “meet and greet” experiences is also available for an additional cost.

2. Music in the Park at Stradley Place

Enjoy a live concert in the park on Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM! There will also be children’s activities!

3. The Shazzbots! at Fourth Friday

Enjoy a concert by The Shazzbots! on the City Hall Civic Green in Westerville! Concert takes place on Friday at 6:15 PM. Enjoy shopping, food and more at the surrounding businesses in Uptown Westerville.

4. New Albany Founders Day Parade and Festival

This annual event on Saturday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM features a parade, 5K, a park dedication, rides, vendors and food!

5. WAG! Fest 2021 at Prairie Oaks Metro Park

This free event on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM includes activities for dogs, vendors, dog-focused products and demonstrations, and more!

6. Galena Summerfest at Galena Village Square

Head to Galena from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM on Saturday for a KidZone, Critter Corner, Safety Street, performances, music, raffle prizes, food and drink, shopping and more!

7. Scrawl 15 at 400 Square

This event takes place on Saturday and Sunday and includes 54 artists who will create murals live! The event also includes local vendors, DJ’s, food trucks and local brews.

8. Summer Fun Days at Marmon Valley Farm

Summer Fun Days include hayrides, miniature golf, pond swimming, paddle boating, pony rides and more! Purchase discounted tickets in advance or regular price at the door. This event begins at 12:30 PM on Saturday.

9. Hooty Who?! (Kraft Session) at Dublin Toy Emporium

Enjoy an owl craft for kids and an owl adventure hunt! Reserve your session on Saturday afternoon in advance!

10.Italian Village Dog Fest

This event in Italian Village raises funds for local dog shelters and groups. There will be games, prizes, live music, food and more! The event takes place on Saturday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

11. The Grandview Hop

On Saturday from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM head to Grandview Ave for live music, local shopping, art, food and activities!
