1. Heart of Grove City Food Truck Festival and Shop Hop

Head to Grove City Town Center for shop hop specials, food trucks and more on Friday night from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

2. Back to School Movie Night! at Beechwold Christian Church

Watch The Peanuts Movie outside! Fun, food and games take place on Friday night beginning at 6:30 PM and the movie begins at 8:30 PM.

3. Movie Night: Moana Sing-along at Sharon Woods Metro Park

Dress in tropical gear for this tiki party and a showing of the movie Moana! popcorn will be provided. The event begins at 8:00 PM on Friday. Rain date is Saturday.

4. Storytime with author Kate David at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers

Join local author Kate David for a reading of her book Maddox and the Magical Hat. The story time begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

5. August Saturday Art Brunch at 3060 Art Gallery

This month’s art brunch will feature Donna’s Delicious Dozen, live jazz music, The Flower Initiative and cotton candy from Cotton Sugar Co.! Visit all of the local businesses on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM for more fun and art for sale!

6. Community Day at Pleasant Township Fire Department

This event in Lancaster takes place on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM and features a touch-a-truck, live music, food, fun games, face painting, balloon animals and more!

7. Model Railroaders Open House at Sandel Legacy Trail

Stop in to visit model railroads and chat with the Delaware County Model Railroaders. Hours are Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

8. Columbus Food Truck Festival

The Columbus Food Truck Festival includes live music, arts and crafts vendors, and of course the best food trucks in Columbus! The festival is located at the Franklin County Fairgrounds this year and takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

9. 2021 Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival

This Sweet Corn Festival takes place on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and and Sunday from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM. It includes arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, pony rides, corn hole, community information and more!

10. Open Barn Days 2021 at Sunrise Sanctuary

Visit with the animals at the farm on Saturday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Purchase tickets in advance online!

11. For Families: Go Creeking at Highbanks Metro Park

On Saturday at 2:00 PM kids can explore the Olentangy River looking for creatures in the water! Wear shoes and meet at the Big Meadows Picnic Area!

12. Community Festival at Vineyard Community Church

This community festival takes place on Saturday at 4:00 PM and includes food trucks, live music and vendors!

13. Free Movie Night in the Park 2021 – The Addams Family at Freedom Park

Watch a free showing of The Addams Family at Freedom Park in Pataskala. The movie begins at dusk on Saturday night.

14. Second Annual Back to School Bash

This event in Westgate Park features life DJ’s, a free lunch, snacks, a fire truck on site and school supplies! Time is Sunday from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
