1. Read to Succeed: Children’s Book Drive with Seeds of Caring
Every child should have access to books to start a lifelong love of reading. In this Anywhere Project from Seeds of Caring, kids 2-12 will collect 5+ gently used children’s books and make bookmarks for the kid-founded, New Albany-based Read to Succeed Foundation. Families and groups can participate any time until the project ends March 19.
2. Kids Dream Winter Film Series At Marcus Theatres

4. Friday Storytime At Blendon Woods Metro Park
Friday February 24th at 10am visit Blendon Woods Metro Park for a morning of nature, stories and songs. This event is intended for ages 2-7 years old.
5. Explore More At Worthington Park Library
Friday February 24th at 10:30am visit Worthington Park library for an hour long storytime centered around stories, songs and rhymes that are helpful for kindergarten skills.
6. Family Night At Worthington Community Center
Friday February 24th at 6:30pm visit the Worthington Community center for family night! This family friendly event features an open gym, crafts, games and more! This week all events will be themed around Read Across America. See link for registration.
7. Blooms & Butterflies At Franklin Park Conservatory
Saturday February 25th is opening day for the Blooms & Butterflies event at Franklin Park Conservatory! See hundreds of beautiful butterflies take flight and enjoy the exotic flora through the pacific island water garden biome. See link to tickets, times and pricing.
8. Sensory Friendly Saturday At The Works
Saturday February 25th at 9am visit The Works for Sensory Friendly Saturday. This event features a morning of lowered lights, sounds and accommodations. See link for tickets and pricing.
9. Maple Sugar Tours At Stratford Ecological Center

10. Family Book Event: You Gotta Meet Mr. Pierce! At Columbus Museum Of Art
Saturday February 25th at 11am visit Columbus Museum Of Art for a family book event featuring author meet- and-greet, craft and live reading. This event is included with admission.
11. Maple Time At Slate Run Metro Park
Saturday February 25th at 1pm visit Slate Run Metro Park for an afternoon of collecting and learning about maple syrup.
12. Animal Tales & Tails With Ohio Nature Education At Licking Park District
Saturday February 25th at 1pm visit the Licking Park district for a fun afternoon of meeting some animal friends and learning about how they use their tails. A short optional hike will follow this event. See link for registration.
13. Winter Hike Celebration At Blacklick Woods Metro Golf Course
Sunday February 26th at 11am visit Blacklick Woods Metro Golf Course for a winter hike, warm bonfire and hot chocolate.
14. Mommy & Me Walk At Polaris Fashion Place

16. For Kids: Bison At Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park
Sunday February 26th at 2pm visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park to learn about America’s largest mammal. This hands on presentation and short hike will be all about bison!
17. Skunk Cabbage At Blendon Woods Metro Park
Sunday February 26th at 2pm visit Blendon Woods Metro Park for a 2-mile off trail hike to look for early signs of spring and skunk cabbage!
