10:00 AM – First Friday Storytime at Blendon Woods Metro Park – enjoy stories about wildlife and nature. Ages 3-7.

10:00 AM – First Responder Appreciation Month at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus – throughout the month of February, First Responders will receive free admission and their immediate family members will receive $10 single day admission tickets. First Responders must present proof of employment. See the link for the list of qualifying professions. 

10:00 AM – Forest Fridays at Sunbury Urban Farm – enjoy 30 minute nature activity and free play time in the woods. All ages. $5 suggested donation.

10:00 AM – Toddler Open Gym at Thompson Recreation Center – drop in for a free Open Gym time at the rec center!

12:00 PM – AAA Great Vacations Travel Expo at Ohio Expo Center – Kasich Hall – this event will be a one-stop shop for everything related to travel, featuring more than 150 exhibits, events, attractions and appearances, all aimed at helping travelers seeking tips, trips and discounts for close-to-home escapes or exotic dream vacations. Kids Day, featuring animals from Columbuz Zoo & Aquarium, is Saturday, Feb. 8.

10:00 AM – Storytime with Energy: Connie Dow at Cover to Cover Books for Young Readers – author Connie Bergstein Dow will read from her book From A to Z with Energy and Dance, Turn, Hop, Learn. This story time will feature learning and exercise!

10:00 AM – Preschool Story Time at Grange Insurance Audubon Center – enjoy a nature-themed story time for preschoolers!

10:00 AM – PBJ & Jazz with Sydney McSweeny at Lincoln Theatre – enjoy a family-friendly jazz concert at Lincoln Theatre. Concerts are $5/person, $20 max per family and include a PB&J sandwich, juice and a cookie for the kids. 

10:15 AM – Nintendo Switch Open Play & Meet-Up at Plain City Public Library – explore new games and meet other games at this drop in event.

10:30 AM – Valentine’s Storytime at Raymond at Marysville Public Library Raymond Branch – enjoy a story and craft time with a Valentine theme. Ages 6 and under.

11:00 AM – Heart Day at Clay Street Ceramics – paint a heart ranging from $5-$18 and pay only $2 for studio fees. Drop in anytime between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

11:00 AM – Tasting with Fourteen Twenty Nine Bakery at Keller Market House – stop by to sample buckeye brownies, salted caramel pretzel brownies and more! Learn about the mission of Fourteen Twenty Nine to provide immediate needs to women who have been trafficked in Columbus, Ohio.

11:00 AM – ANTI-Valentine Party at Westland Area Library – this event is for the Anti-Valentine’s crowd and features break up songs, angsty conversation hearts and snarky treats. Grades 7-12.

11:00 AM – Family Yoga at Lane Road Branch Library – take an intergenerational yoga class that is suited for all body types. Recommend for ages 5 and up. Limited seats remain. Register online.

11:00 AM – February Walk In Event at AR Workshop Grove City – drop in to complete a kid-friendly project in less than 30 minutes. Projects range from $5-$10.

2:00 PM – The Coyotes Among Us at Three Creeks Metro Park – learn about coyotes and wander through the fields to look for their signs.

2:00 PM – 2020 Winter Hike: Glacier Ridge at Glacier Ridge Metro Park – take a 2 mile hike through the park. Food and hot beverages will be available afterwards. Donate a personal hygiene product or $5 to Mid-Ohio Foodbank to receive a collectors mug.

2:00 PM – Valentine Doll Party at Cute As A Button – create a Valentine’s mailbox and fleece blanket. Enjoy treats with your doll. Tickets required.
