1. Franklin County Fair
Franklin County Fair runs July 19-25 and includes shows, live music, demolition derby, rides, games, and much more!
2. Visit a Farmers Market
Farmers Markets are popping up all over Columbus! Check out the link for a list of Farmers Markets for every day of the week!
3. Friday Fun Days at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum
Friday mornings from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM in July families can visit the National Veterans Memorial and Museum for $5/person and participate in family fun enrichment activities, take a private tour, speak with a Veteran and more! This program is designed for 4th – 12th graders.
4. Too Good Eats Cafe at The Hills Market Downtown
Visit the Too Good Eats Cafe popping up at The Hills Market Downtown on Fridays from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM for a popsicle bar and artisan drinks!
5. KidX Summer Series 2021 at Polaris Fashion Place
Fridays from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM head to Polaris Fashion Place for KidX Summer Series! This Friday the theme is Olympics!

6. Lancaster Festival
The Lancaster Festival runs July 23-31 and includes musical performances, art activities for kids, family-friendly concerts, and more! Saturday is the Festival Fair Day at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds which features kid-friendly events all day including train rides, emergency vehicles, crafts, llamas and more! Adults are $5 and kids are free!
7. Tween Glow Party at The Five Party & Event Center
Drop off your kids ages 11-14 on Friday at 6:30 PM for a fun night including food, trivia, games and more! Register online.
8. OUTDOOR FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT at X Church
Enjoy a free showing of Minions outside on the lawn. Popcorn and cotton candy will be provided! Movie starts at 8:00 PM on Friday night.
9. Back to School Reveal @ Once Upon A Child
All 6 Columbus locations of Once Upon a Child will be releasing some of their best brands and good condition clothing for back to school shopping on July 24 & 25!
10. Open Barn Days 2021 at Sunrise Sanctuary
Purchase your tickets online to visit the animals at Sunrise Sanctuary! Open Barn Days happen once a month. Hours are 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday.
11. German Village Makers Market
Shop tons of local vendors, crafters and food trucks in the heart of German Village. Hours are Sunday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
12. Christmas in July at Center Street Market
Celebrate Christmas in July with kid-friendly fun including a dunk tank, Kidz Bop, stilt walkers, crafts and more on Sunday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
13. Christmas in July with Santa & Holiday Friends at Coffman Pavillion
On Sunday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM join Santa and Mrs. Claus for Christmas in July. There will be singing and dancing, stories and pictures! Purchase tickets online.
